Praise for Ruby …
Book 2
in Taylor Lee’s NEW Sexy Suspense Collection: Ladies of the Night.

“USA Today best-selling author Taylor Lee soars with Ruby, the second book in Lee’s provocative new series, Ladies of the Night.  The Ladies are covert agents in a secretive, off the grid security organization.  Highly trained fighters, they’re as gorgeous as they are dangerous to the evil men they’re hired to bring to justice. The only thing these formidable women are NOT is “ladies.”

Chloe Harper, Code Name: Ruby is a diminutive, red-headed vixen.  But don’t let her size fool you.  The fierce firebrand is as accomplished with a knife and Glock 19 as she is bringing men to their feet with her womanly wiles. Noah Walker, the stunning black former Army Ranger, is no slouch when it comes to attracting women, but even he is no match for Ruby.  Both agents are more than equipped to take on what appears to be a rogue operation in the command structure of the national agency that hired them.  The twist and turns of this surprising mission will have your head spinning. The only thing more riveting is the passion that flares between the two indomitable agents.

An interesting idea for a series. Would have preferred more of the story be about the mission than the romance.

A must read! Ruby is the 2nd book in the Ladies of the Night series and Taylor Lee has done it again. The sparks fly between Ruby and Noah as they track down a racist, ex-military, charismatic leader hell bent on killing Noah.

The challenges that Ruby overcomes when she realizes "normal" isn't all its cracked up to be lead to some amazing results between her and Noah.

This book will have you sitting on the edge of your seats as the team is double-crossed in one of the most intense scenes yet.

Love this series, and can't wait for Topaz...

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

This was an another excellent contemporary romance. Elite security forces join together to fight against home grown terrorists. Ruby is one of the few agents hired by LOTN (Ladies Of The Night) security company. Noah is also former military, member of ATF and Ian's elite, private security force. They work together to try to take down a racists group & they'll constantly be in danger. Noah & Ruby have a personal relationship that begins to develope and neither is sure how to handle it due to their professional relationship. This is the 2nd book in this set I've read and thoroughly enjoyed. The author shows both the men and woman as dependable, strong and patriotic. The way Ms Lee describes the people and situations grabs you so you want to finish the book. I look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other future books by this author. I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange solely for an honest opinion.

Ruby is an retired US Army Staff Sgt , who is now working for Ladies Of The Night. That is an all female private security firm. She is an exceptional agent who uses her looks as her most useful weapon. Her next job, she will have to work with the incredibly sexy Noah. On their last job together she broke down and he had to comfort her and put her to bed. Ruby has since become engaged to a normal, ordinary man, nothing like the men who she works with all the time. She wants a normal life ,something she has never had.
Noah has had his future wife picked out for him by his Senator father for years. It's the only part of the life his father had planned for him that he has not rebelled against. He has succeeded with every challenge he set himself, from his Ivy League schools and Army career. Now as what his father calls him a spy.
This next job puts Ruby and Noah working together again, Both in more danger than ever. They must put a stop to a home grown terrorist group. How will their personal fireworks affect the mission?
A very exciting story full of sexual tension, and strong characters. Our heroine is a little firecracker, a lot stronger than most men believe possible. Our hero is very full of himself and sometimes you want to smack him.

This is the 2nd book in the series . You can read it at a stand alone but I think you will love the series ,so it would be better to read them in order. I look forward to meeting Topaz.

I loved this story! This was another great addition to this series from Taylor Lee. This is the second story within the series and the first introduces you to these characters, so you already know a little bit about them if you have read that one. The story is good and very well written. You have two bad ass main characters that are out to get rid of a domestic terrorist. Noah has a thing for Ruby but was not up to being upfront about it or pursuing it at the beginning of the story and then Ruby is engaged so someone that can give her "normal" which she believes she wants even though she has a thing for Noah as well. Noah's feelings for Ruby make the mission hard for him since Ruby is undercover and going to be in danger, even though she can take care of herself. This is a fairly fast pace book and is not very long. The sex is explicit, like the rest of Taylor's books but is not overdone because of the emotion between the characters and the set up that Taylor does. I really enjoyed getting to read Noah and Ruby's story and can't wait for more in this series and the rest of the characters.

I just love that this series focuses on a group of strong and intelligent women. After meeting Ruby in book 1, I couldn't wait to read her story. Ruby is fiery and feisty, but she meets her match with Noah. She starts the book engaged to a boring man she thinks will give her an ordinary life, but Noah quickly shows her that she will never be satisfied with that. Noah and Ruby complement each other well, but they are both put to the test when they have to deal with a particularly terrible organization.

I have enjoyed this series, but this particular book didn't seem to have as much action as some of Taylor's other books. I also wanted to get to know Ruby just a little bit better.

I can't wait to read Topaz's story--she seems like a very intriguing character!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC as a part of Taylor's Treasured Team in exchange for an honest review.

Author gifted a copy for an honest review.

I read Noah and Ruby's story in one sitting.
I like a good plot with hot sex, and both were delivered with Noah and Ruby's story.

I'm sure the plot subject was difficult to write, and some will find hard to read, I thought it was handled well.

My knowledge of MLK Junior and Malcolm X is fairly limited, the banter between two highly educated characters, using quotes from the two human rights activists, resulted in some great shoot outs betweeñ Noah and Clay without any weapons being fired.

I like Alpha men, confident, built and at time assholes, and Noah did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next installment from the LOTN.

I am thrilled to have received a copy of Ruby in return for leaving a honest review.
I love how so far this series has tackled issues that we are faced withbinbthe here and now. When I realized where Noah and Ruby's story was going, I was a little leary. But I worried for not. The of racism was handled with class.
Every since the first bok I have loved the back and forth banter between the agents. And there was plenty that had me laughing out loud in this book. I absolutely love Noah and Ruby. I swear they even had me breaking a sweat a few times.
I love how this series has played out so far and I'm excited to see what's next.

Wow. I've been waiting for book 2 in the LOTN series and Taylor Lee did not disappoint. Ruby and Noah's story was spell binding. Once again I was surprised when I read the last couple of chapters having not anticipated the story ending as it did. I love that I don't see what is coming as I turn each page. This is another fantastically written book by Taylor Lee that takes you on a wild ride.

Noah and Ruby are hot together and Gray is hilarious with his sexual banter. Noah, Ruby, and Gray's mission is to infiltrate and capture a group of white supremacists that are selling weapons and drugs to terrorists. I don't want to spoil Taylor Lee's new book, needless to say it's full of action and passion. I can't wait to read more of this series, looking forward to Topaz and Gray's story.

This was a great addition to the Ladies of the Night series. This series so far has been really good. I tend to like strong female characters and these books definitely have them. You can't go wrong with LOTN?

As always Taylor delivers a hot adventure relating to the fine LOTN. Ruby the red spitfire who is in lust with Noah the DTAH commander. What happens when they are both on a case in the bellies of Colorado- is fireworks. My only issue was it wasn't long enough.
