Hidden Within the Stones

Rate this book
Secret Jews in New Mexico? Gabriella Martinez can't believe her ancestors were members of a Spanish Brotherhood of Crypto-Jews. When she embarks on a journey to the small town of Tierra Amarilla, she is overwhelmed by what she finds. The house she inherited is little more than crumbling adobe and Ella realizes she is ill prepared for life alone. When the old medallion causes visions of the past she discovers the secrets her family has kept hidden for generations. Hidden Within the Stones is a story of magic and history - from Bishop Francisco Martín de la Serrano fleeing the Spanish Inquisition to Gabriella Martinez running away from the truth about her life.

Great read

I enjoyed becoming involved in Gabriella's search for the truth concerning her ancestry, the meaning of her dreams and where life is leading her.

I so expected to give this five stars!

Reading this book was a delight! Well written, finely crafted, nicely edited, right up to the cryptic end that left me a bit dazzled and confused. I loved the voice of this author, if only there were the tiniest pinch of order added. It truly is a shame to have such a discordant final note. I plan to read this one again soon to see if this Gordian Knot can be untangled.

Interesting story.

This story left me dissatisfied with the outcome. I felt there were to many things that needed a different outcome. I do not like to leave a story with more questions than answers.
