Imagine a legendary ancient Celtic warrior walking among us today. Add one brilliant and beautiful young, contemporary woman from a long line of “stewards,” protectors of sacred grounds. All her life Stacy has heard the tales of sacred grounds, her ancestors who were stewards, of great battles against evil and until now, they were just stories told, exciting, mysterious and magical. Stacy lives in the adult world now and she has problems of her own that are looming over her head. The family muse ...more

In this contemporary romance, the heroine Stacy discovers she's a focal point in the constant battle between good and evil. She doesn't have to go it alone, however, because she's been sent a guardian--who just happens to be a luscious hunk with a wicked blade. The author's love for Celtic history and mythology shines in this story, and I thought she incorporated clever updates to ancient themes. In much of the book, Stacy is still trying to get her mind around why and how these strange things a ...more

Whether Stacy Macken's knowledge of past generations of women in her family came from family stories, dreams, visions or ancient memories somehow inextricably woven into her DNA, Stacy finds herself re-living relationships and battle that occurred hundreds and thousands of years ago. Druid warrior Aaron Fielding is selected to be her guardian and to protect the sacred ground. Just enough Celtic history to be interesting mixed with a bit of fantasy and some romance to sizzle, this book was a fast ...more

From the beginning, I loved the idea of this series Juli is writing. What's not to love? You have romance. You have myths walking among humankind. You have a battle between good and evil that isn't about God and the Devil, which seems to often be the dichotomy that people default to. You have pagan deities somewhat on stage, and they are not the default bad guys.

Stacy Macken is at the end of a long line of women born to be stewards of sacred ground. Not every female in her line, but regularly en

This is the first of Juli D. Revezzo’s books I have read, but I’ll definitely be reading more! I’ll look forward to seeing this series develop as well.

I love Celtic mythology (although I am no expert) and thought the legend of the Harshad Wars and warriors was well-created. The old myths and creatures blended very well in the modern-day setting and established a good base for future books.

Aaron and Stacey’s physical connection was strong from the beginning due to their predestined union, but bet

Passion's Sacred Dance was a good read. The concept of the story is very interesting and there was enough action and steaminess, I just felt a bit confused and thought it lacked info.
Stacy is the owner of the Historic Center but is in debt and needs to figure out a way to keep her center, Aaron is a Harshad Warrior and Stacy's guardian. There is an impending war between the Harshads and the evil they have been fighting against f

I got this for free on Amazon and an honest review is in order. Judging from the length of time before I finished it, I wasn't hooked. Not that it isn't good.

It is set in contemporary times and Ms Revezzo's writing style was simple and it worked. The paranormal angle was there, given what Aaron Fielding was. I just felt disconnected from them all. There were fae involved, ancient battles, the diary, the dreams, I guess I wanted more magic, or a description of the fae's home.

The sparks between

This is a very interesting story about the fight between good and evil forces. I liked the story very much. The characters are believable, the setting well described and the plot thickens more with every page you turn. The romance felt a little lacking though. With a word like "passion" in the title, I would have expected there to me more and deeper emotions to (at least the main) characters shown in a new and interesting way. However, the emotions were just like in any other romance novel I rea ...more

Exciting 1st book in the new series Harshad Wars by Juli D. Revezzo. The mix of the ancient world and the modern world is riveting. You will fall in love with Stacy & Aaron. Stacy is a strong woman who will fight for what she believes in and Aaron is the warrior who will steal her heart. You will become a fan of Celtic lore. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Marked it DNF at 20%. I felt like I missed a book that explained the world because from page one I was extremely confused. The pages jumped around to events that had no explanation or information that made no sense. I just could not get into the story.
