Hardcover, very good condition. Jacket is unclipped and with remains of old price label on inner front flap. Jacket shows minor shelf wear at corners and spine ends but overall very clean. Slight bumps to corners and one or two minor marks to page block head. Blue cloth boards are very good. Internally excellent throughout. DP

A comprehensive history of the London Underground. A lot of detailed information on the stock as well as the history of the development of each line.

This was dry but very enjoyable. Understandably the timeframe of the book went constantly forwards and backwards in time, as each line was constructed, expanded, and electrified separately.
