This book was recommended to me by a friend. I was told that I would totally love it and would not be able to put it down. Well she was right because I can honestly say this is the first book I have picked up and could not out down for ages. Every chapter ended with a cliff hanger and leaves you itching to know what happens next.
The story flows so well and keeps you hooked.

Absorbing and entertaining. This book is set in the North West of England and tells the story of a mother Jodie who's long married life has been under the control of her violent husband, Jack. Their son CJ and his best friends are bullied at school. Without giving too much away and spoiling the plot - both mother and son find ways to deal with their tormenters. This was a fast paced read and packed with lots of stuff. Not YA. A real page turner. It was the book cover that caught my attention and so I googled reviews and was told that I wouldn't be disappointed. And this is true - I really enjoyed it.

Adept in writing novels relating to real life dramas with a supernatural vibe, this story is inspired by true events.
