The story in The Bride Wore Denim was very sweet and at times heart-breaking. I enjoyed the characters and the story overall, however, there were both typos and grammatical errors, and sometimes some continuity problems as well, which took my attention away from the story trying to figure out exactly what was going on.

I really loved this book. When I picked it up to start reading it I had every intention of reading a couple of chapters and then getting some sleep. So did not work out that way, I read it in one sitting, and really enjoyed it. I love books that take place on ranches or farms, I think it's because I've always wanted to end up living on a ranch with a bunch of horses in Montana.
So I will point out that first off th ...more

The Bride Wore Denim is the first book in Lizbeth Selvig's newest contemporary romance series, Seven Brides for Seven Cowboys, and is the first book by her that I've read. A lot of books tend to become overly complicated when too many minor characters are thrown in and while there was a fair amount of supporting characters here, it never felt crowded or distracting.
