I've finished it in 1 day but forget to post reviews.
It is what it says no surprises - nothing out of place. Bride runs away from Groom (on wedding gown - in last minute - as cover shows) for good reasons on her side - bumps into stranger and falls in passionate love and desire which was missing with her fiancé .... Duh!
But I enjoyed it, it's fast paced and doesn't dwell too much on past or feelings or future or anything else for that matter.
Grandma's secret provides a good twist and I liked i

A good read

Another good addition to the Runaway Bride series. Each story can be read as a stand alone story but they are connected and follow a timeline. So I'd recommend you read them in order. They make quick, easy, fun reads. I did miss the epilogue in this one. There are a few editing issues that can pull you from the flow of the story, however once you figure out the correct wording the flow continues And you find a wonderful story. I do wish there were more than just one more story in the ser

Genre: Romance,
I thought this would be a fun, light-hearted read, and sometimes that’s what we need, something light after reading angst and drama – I love books with that but after a while my brain needs a contrast, something to relax with. I hadn’t realised this book is so short though – just 2133 kindle locations/1218 KB, I’d guess at around 100 pages maybe? I know many people lik

I'll be totally honest, I thought this book was a part of Montana Born Brides series when I requested it, I didn't even read the synopsis because I liked the said series. I was halfway done when I noticed that this was part of another series, Runaway Brides.

Anyway, half of the book was about Lindsay's woeful mumbling about her shattered wedding. How could he do this to her? He was her best friend. Her best friend. It was annoying that she has to string the word be

Another Winner

This is genre fiction, to be sure, but shallow it isn't. The spotlight is shared almost equally by the male and female protagonists, and they both grow in believable ways. The twists in this plot are mostly psychological, but normal; there is no need for the ugly and deranged in this story--the bad things from the backstory are just that, backstory from which these two likeable characters are moving with as much speed and in as healthy ways as they can. This one is a keeper.

I enjoyed this book, but I felt like there were a lot of loose ends left over at the end. I liked seeing Lindsey and Myles get past their initial animosity and all their collective emotional baggage to find something very special together. I just would have loved to see the rest of the strained family relationships sorted out as well. And since I’m such a fan of reality-TV-style drama, I would have loved to know the rest of the story about the jilted groom as well.

I really am enjoying this series so far with it's light-hearted feel and enough seriousness intermingled, these books are fun and enjoyable. The commom theme in this series is that they are all about weddings and something goes wrong and the bride runs away, hence the name Runaway Brides. The characters are also connected to the next female main character, so the female main character of book 1 know the female main character of book 2 and she kno

Lindsey’s wedding day certainly didn’t turn out as she had expected. When faced with a round of wedding nerves all she wanted was to see her groom, for just a moment, to hold him close and let that connection calm her down to face the rest of their hectic day. What she didn’t need was to run smack into the man who was after her famous grandmother’s secrets for his soon to be written tell all book. And the very last thing she needed to see was her intended groom

This is another fun, quick read from the Runaway Brides series. Lindsey is about to marry her best friend, but despite all the superstitions she just wants to talk to him before the big moment. As she’s sneaking towards his room, however, she meets up with a gorgeous man skulking about the hotel. Lindsey knows it’s not particularly appropriate to notice how good looking he is but that’s soon the last of her worries. Especially as the handsome stranger turns out to be the pushy writer trying to d ...more

There Goes the Bride is the third release in the Runaway Brides series by Catherine Mann and Joanne Rock but, as was the case with the prequel and first novella, this can be read as a standalone. I liked the premise of two people who should be adversaries finding it difficult to remain as such because of their attraction to one another. Both Lindsey and Myles

This was a cute romance that I got as an ARC from Net Galley for an honest review. I enjoyed the book, it was cute, funny & had just the right amount of drama in it. Lindsey is running away from the wedding she thought would change her life. What she finds out is that it would've been a marriage of convenience for her best friend & fiancé. Myles is looking for Lindsey to get some information from her about a book he's writing on her famous step-grandmother. What Lindsey doesn't know at the time ...more

I've followed this series since the very first book. so far, I'd still say that my favorite is the second book. I felt like there was a better character development in that book. The first one was too short for me to really be invested in it. In this third book, we have another bride who ran away from her wedding on the day itself.

Everything that you read in the book's synopsis is really what you get

We first met Hair stylist Lindsey Ballard during book #2 in the series The Wedding Audition.

There Goes the Bride (Runaway Brides Book 3) by Catherine Mann and Joanne Rock is part of a series that keeps getting better and better. While this is still somewhat of a celebrity story, reality TV is nowhere in the picture. Instead Lindsey Ballard, hair stylist that was in book 2, is trying to play down her country music heritage. Like Lindsey, I was glad that the truth was found before the wedding instead of afterwards. Still my heart went out to this bride, so early on she had me on her side ...more

When Myles Emory decides to write a tell all book about country music legend Lara Kane, he knows the best way to get the information he seeks is from her granddaughter, Lindsey Ballard. It might take a little work to get the information he seeks, but he is willing to do anything he has to.

On the day of Lindsey’s wedding, she is desperate to talk to her future husband. She doesn’t believe in the old wives’ tale about it being bad luck for the bride and groom to see each other before the wedding.

This is the third book in the Runaway Bride series. However, it definitely can be read as a stand alone since there is only a very brief mention of the heroine of the previous book (The Wedding Audition). This short novel starts off just before Lyndsay is about to marry when she realizes her fiancé is only marrying her to maintain an image. So when Myles offers her a ride out of town she takes it even though he is looking to writing her an expose of her family. But when sparks start to fly, can ...more

This is the 2nd book in this series. I read the 1st one and this is just as good. The authors have worked up a twisty story line. I liked this and there sure is a lot of action from the very beginning on! There is a big Spoiler when Lindsay calls off her wedding just before she is to marry. She meets Myles who wants to help her get away so he can ask about her famous grandmother, a very popular Country singer. There is barely a bit of family between Lindsay, Samantha and their mother.
