Leigh Storm comes from a small American town whose main source of entertainment is racing cars at the Quarter Mile strip. Muscle cars are a favourite, and Leigh is no stranger to an engine as she is the daughter of an ex-racer and garage owner, and niece to man who lost his life doing what he loved best.

Her vow is to never get involved with a racing driver, she's seen to much heartache. Not only did her Uncle die, but her mother left her father because racing got in the way of the

This book started out really great…I loved the connection and chemistry between Max and Leigh, I loved the history of racing in her family and why she left town…but, somewhere along the way, things just started to lag, secondary characters became annoying and I just wasn’t invested in the HEA anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, I really liked Leigh and Max (and if I’m honest, which I am, I kind of loved Max)…but there was something missing. Maybe it was the fact that the book was entirely from Leigh’s

Tall, dark, sexy, tattoos and drives fast cars, what's not to love about Max? Well that fact that he is a man whore. Leigh grew up surrounded by cars and racing. The racing tore her family apart when she was young, leaving her to raised by her dad. She swears she will never be a racer and will not date one either. She leaves her home town to peruse a "normal" life. Four years later a accident brings her back to care for father.

Leigh and Max had a love/hate relationship growing up. W

I got this for free at least a year ago and FINALLY I decided to read it since someone recommended it to me. I really enjoyed it especially because it was free. I don't know how much it is now but check it out if you like NA and are looking for something easy to read. I appreciated the fact these characters didn't annoy me whatsoever and I loved seeing two characters progress.

To be honest the title is what really drew me into wanting to read Quarter Mile Hearts. I am a huge Fast and the Furious fan and the term Quarter Mile definitely had me thinking of Fast and the Furious. I have never read a book with racers and after finishing up Quarter Mile Hearts I can

Racing has been part of Leigh Storm’s family since before she was born.

It’s how her parents met.

It’s in her blood.

But she’s seen how racing has torn her family apart and she’s convinced herself that she would never get sucked into that world. Yet her love and passion for cars makes it harder, and harder to resist that world. So she decides to leave her hometown who’s sole interest and entertainment is racing.

Her father being in an accident is what forces her to come back home, and the very re

This was such a great fresh read! I haven't stumbled upon another racing/romance novel like this so I was very excited to give it a read. I always love a bad boy book and usually am swayed towards bikers, but as I said this was a much needed fresh story. I grew up in the country and around drag racing so I loved this even more.

"Because there wasn't much to do for entertainment, as soon as you could drive, you went up to the quarter mile."
This is the story of Max Morgan and Leigh Storm.

Their relationship was such an amazing roller coaster! The best part of the way the author writes the story is that it is completely believable. I read a lot of books that are like "eh, I guess that I could happen to be in the drive thru of McDonalds and catch the eye of a lawyer across the street, and end up with my fairy tale ending (w

From beginning to end, I found this read enjoyable, well written and a story that held my interest.
Leigh Storm has to return to her hometown when her father is in a serious racing accident and is currently in hospital. This is the town that Leigh couldn't wait to escape, a town that held memories and people she wanted to forget.
Racing has always been a part of Leigh's life, the quarter mile, cars and speed gave her the passion and buzz for racing, but she also knows the hurt, loss and how it ca

This book was great! First, let me say I grew up in a house of car enthusiasts. My father worked for GM and we always had Camaros around that he was fixing up. My husband is a mechanic and he drives the same car as Max does (Subaru WRX). So, this book was right up my alley! That being said, its enjoyable even to non car people, I promise! I loved Leigh. I felt that she was so realistic. Her fear and her emotions were so believable and I really liked the way she handled them-she runs away at firs ...more

This book has it all. Muscle cars, Hot men, sassy women and a small town to boot.
From page one I was hooked.
Leigh Stone is set on getting out and staying away from her hometown. Street racing tore her family apart and she wants nothing to do with it. She moves away and tries to live a safe life. Everything is going well until she get a call from the hospital saying her father's been in an accident. She races (pun intended) home to help out and reconnect with her friends.she only has one problem

This book ticked all the boxes for me, hot men, feisty female lead, care races, action making for a captivating read.
I love the back and forth struggle of the fight for Leigh to stay away from Max even though the chemistry between them pulled them together at every turn.
What i totally fell in love with this book was that i was Max pushing for him and Leigh to start a relationship, he is the one convincing Leigh to give them a go, i just found that really sexy.

I loved this story of missed gripped me straight away the banter and will they won't they keep you guessing throughout the story and I cried, which is quite normal for me, but this time was tears of wow.....

The story of one girls fear of loving a racer, after losing her uncle and then subsequently her mum through no fault of her own. Then a boy's fear of showing any emotion to a girl he thinks is out of he's league.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. I love racing books and bad boys and this book had both. The book was entertaining watching Max and Leigh go back and forth but at times I wanted to punch Max! All in all it was a good story with a happily ever after. It had everything from racing to jerky guys to action to adventure, and don't forget unknown love. Leigh makes him work for it though. I would definitely recommend this book to others as I enjoyed it and look forward to read ...more

Leigh rushes home after her Dad was in an accident. She left 4 years ago and when she does come home she avoids Max, but this home visit isn't quick, and Max isn't avoidable this time. Leigh is forced to do something she swore she would never do... race! Racing has torn her family apart and taking some loved ones with it. Could she be next or can she win the race of all races, and find love with the one person she has been running from?

Jenny Siegel does not disappoint in this new book. I was very excited to see she had a different book out and jumped on the opportunity to read it. WOW! It grabbed my attention and I loved it. I was counting down the minutes to when I could get back to reading this story. Leigh Storm knows Racing, its been a part of her life forever and its in her blood. But Leigh also knows the downsides to racing, the pain, the fear, and the discontent it can cause. With that knowledge, Leigh leaves home. Then her father is in an accident, and Leigh finds herself not only back home, but also falling right back into the life she had before. Complete with the race driver she's avoided for the past years.

This was a quick and fun read. If you like the move Fast and the Furious you will enjoy this book. There are a lot of similarities to the movie in this book.

Leigh is a girl who grew up in a small town where the place to hang out was the quarter mile. Cars are what she knows, what she grew up with. Her dad own the local mechanic shop, her mother split when she was little so her dad did the best he could. As she got older she seen what racing did to her family and wants no part of it, even though

This is a really great read! It has it all, extremely hot men, a kick ass leading lady, fast cars and bikes and lastly racing!

Leigh Storm has to return to her home town to look after her dad, he's been in a car crash racing on the Quarter Mile(a well known racing spot in the town). Leigh wanted to get out of her small town to escape everything, the quarter mile and especially Max Morgan. Leigh returns to town after her dad is in a bad racing accident and is in the hospital. She vowed that she would never date a racer, but that all changes when Max starts breaking down her wall little by little.

This book was so cute!

I think that car racing can be handled poorly in the hands of some authors, but this book proved that it can also be a fun subject to read about. I love how The romance developed. I also loved the cars and the amazing characters. I definately want more from this couple!

Quarter Mile Hearts is a new adult novel that centers around racing. Growing up, Leigh's life has always been revolved around racing because of her dad and it has also impacted her significantly. When she meets Max, she feels an instant connection to him but certain events happened that led her to fleeing her town. Four years later, she has returned for a short visit because of her father's accident, and that is when she bumps into Max again.

A wonderful story of coming home and finding lost love. This was a lovely Romance but it could have been truly Outstanding with some more meat on it’s bones. There were so many opportunities to make this good book fantastic that just slipped away – it was frustrating. With a backdrop of a town obsessed with muscle cars and street racing we only caught the barest glimpse of the racing. We, and the characters it seemed, mainly saw the racing act
