I read it for my electric machinery course this year.I liked the way it was written.
It brings terrible memories of trying to decipher our then lecturer's handwritten notes--it almost felt like a unit in lexicon instead of electrical machines. This book saved our grades. Now that I've come across it again, I'd opt for something else.
