This text presents AC machine emphasis over DC machines, although it is suitable to study either or both with this book. MATLAB has been incorporated throughtout, both in examples and problems.

I read it for my electric machinery course this year.I liked the way it was written.

It brings terrible memories of trying to decipher our then lecturer's handwritten notes--it almost felt like a unit in lexicon instead of electrical machines. This book saved our grades. Now that I've come across it again, I'd opt for something else.

Finally finished it. :)
Detailed. Perhaps the only book I liked from my power classes.
