Best friend and protector…

Weston McKay has always worn the title proudly. He’s stood by Cole and Angela Walker since they were kids. He’s always been there to help pick up the pieces, always been a shoulder to lean on, and someone who understood.

At the tender age of nine, Angela knew that her friendship with Wes was destined to be more, but he was her brother’s best frien

My Broken Angel by Heather D'Agostino is the third book in her Broken series. This is Wes and Angela's story and follows on from the previous two books. You should probably read this series in order so that you have all the information in the correct order when it comes to the history of these characters.

ANgst, angst, and more angst. Angela is Cole's sister. Cole is the main character from the first two books and is also Wes's best friend. the three of them grew up together. Wes helped shelter C

HOLY FREAKING COW do I love this book!!! I mean I have loved Cole and Maddie's books a whole lot, but this one takes the cake on this series. Actually, I can honestly say that this one is one of my all time favorite books I have ever read!! Heather is a fabulous author and I stalk to see what she has coming and I know that no matter what I read of hers it will always be great, but honestly this book was just WOW!! If you haven't read books 1 and 2 stop now and go get them now. You could probably ...more

Overall this is a very solid good romantic read. I posted last week about the release of this story(you can check that post out here). Parts of the story I absolutely loved, parts I liked a whole lot and then there were a few things that just tweaked me a bit oddly. Why I am not sure. The story line itself is fantastic. I loved seeing the relationship between Wes and Angela, Wes and Cole, Cole and Angela, Angela and Ally, and then the overall relationship they all share! The characters felt rela ...more

My Broken Angel (book 3 in the Broken Series) by Heather D'Agostino

So going into this book I knew three things;
1) book two ended with some bad stuff going down
2)Wes and Angela can't be in the same room without some friction happening.
3) my friend Angie has claimed Wes, but possession is nine tenths of the law and I've got him now!!!
This book begins directly where the previous ended and you get to see it from Wes's POV, then the fun begins. We get to know Cole and Wes as kids and learn about t

4.5 from me.
Once again this series is great. Another book I had to keep reading ell past my bedtime. This is Angela (Angel), and Wes' story. I love how the author works the time frames so that you can see the past yet continue into present without boring us with repetitive flashbacks, or skipping large parts to get to today. The only reason it is a 4.5 and not a 5 was I felt there as a little too little about Richard and how he died. It was a HUGE ending in the previous book, and a great big lea

I had wondered about Wes (Weston McKay). How he came to be who is and how his relationship with Angela Walker turned out the way it is.
Their frustration with each other is evident throughout this book. But why are their interactions so conflicted? They used to be friends
but as time went on things definitely took a turn. Wes' loyalty to Cole made him choose between what he wanted and how he needed to keep
his distance from Angela. This book showcases how sometimes even when you try your hardest,

This story expands from Cole and Maddie, to Cole's best friend Wes and Cole's sister, Angela.

Cole and Angela's childhood was not full of happy times and memories. Theirs is a story of abuse, survival, friendship and love.

Wes had always been there for Cole and Angela since childhood. Whether it be having a place for them to escape for awhile or just hanging out as friends do. Their friendship has grown along with them, but that may change once C

Another great book by Ms. D'Agostino. The end of book 2 had me screaming at the cliffhanger, book 3 starts just a bit before the end of 2 but with what was going on with Wes and the fight with Richard. After the opening we are taken back in time to when Wes was 10 and Angela was 5. While the trip back in time is slow, it provides needed detail for later in the book. It shows their early relationship and how they interacted even from a young age, and Cole's impact on them both. You also see exact ...more

My Broken Angel (Broken, #3) by Heather D’Agostino is Wes’s story. When this book starts Wes wakes up to find everyone looking at him because the news has just reported that Richard is dead and has been pulled from the Boston River. Everyone has an accusatory eye on him considering his background plus the state of his face and hands. I like the way the author tells his story. The author tells the story from Wes and Angela’s perspective. The story starts as Wes meets Cole and unfolds as they get ...more

Book three in The Broken Series was right up my street. This was a second chances kind of book, and I loved every word of it. For me it was already a winner as this was Wes and Angela’s story, and well if you’ve read the first two books in the series Wes is probably high up on your book boyfriend list too.

Having met both Wes and Angela earlier in the series and witnessed their love / hate relationship, their story was always going to be an interesting one. I loved that the author took us back to

Weston is HOTT! Former fighter turned gym owner.
Angela is his best friend's sister. Which means she is off limits.
They've been connected for as long as they can remember. Will the stars ever align for them?

So this is the book of what hoes wrong can. It's written that you can't help but be invested. We know from previous books there is tension between the two but this one explained it all by going through their lives. I loved getting that background information. It made me understand all the ten

Absolutely loved this book!! Wes and Angie are amazing together. I especially enjoyed how D'Agostino takes the reader back to the character roots and shares Wes and Angie's backstory as youth. It definitely helps with the story development and fills in some key points in their relationship.

D'Agostino has me hooked and I can hardly wait for the next book, starring Ally.

An angst book, no doubt. The misunderstanding wasn't small it was minuscule. I bring it all down to immaturity so I let it slide. Wes could have fought harder for his career but I liked this book. I hadn't read the others in the series but I was able to read it as a stand alone. I of course loved that it spanned years since that is one of my preferences.

I love the Broken series. Loved Cole and Maddie and now am in love with Wes and Angel, as Wes calls her. Once again, I love the going back to where it all began as they were growing up to find out how it all started. I think my favorite part is at the cabin. Won't give anymore of that away, but when you get to it,you'll know what I mean. Looking forward to Ally's story next

Let me start by saying This. Is. The. Best. One. Yet. I thought Maddie and Cole were great Holy Hotness wait tell you read this. Wes is best just saying...only don't let my Bestie see this she has already claimed him as her BBF. Wes had my heart racing, then comes a one two punch and I would be in tears and gasping.

Wes was always looking out for Cole and Angie when they were kids. He taught them self defense moves and other things he learned in

Wes and Angela have been in love since they were kids, but the timing is never right for these two. Angela's brother Cole and Wes are best friends and he knows how Wes goes through women more than anyone and he warns Wes away from his sister. When Wes and Ang get another shot, Wes plans to tell Cole what we wants with her. Ang suddenly disappears and runs from Wes. They both move on with other people but when life throws them back together again they have to make a choice. Will Wes finally be ab ...more

This series is just a wonderful series. Make sure to read the first two books in the series first to get the most out of My Broken Angel. You finally get the backstory behind Wes and Angela's relationship and how it develops from the time they were kids. I will be waiting impatiently for the fourth book in the series.
