This dragged for me in areas, and I felt quite bored a few times, but it was an okay read overall.

I understand everybody has ups and downs in a relationship. What I don't get is why Pepper and Jace constantly have to have outside influences determine the course of their relationship. In this book, it's a crazy female who stalked and physically assaulted Pepper. I get that he's popular, charismatic and gorgeous, but it's a little bit over-the-top and redundant. He's not Prince Harry, for goodness sake!
The drug-dealing side plot does not add any substance to the story. It just seems it's being

Ali Dean did it again! The Pepper Jones series is just getting better. Pepper and Jace are put to the test and it is a scary one at that. If you like sports YA fiction, this is the series you will not be able to put down. As a reader, from the eyes of Pepper, you are not sure who is a friend or a frenemy. You must read Pepped Up and All Pepped Up before reading this book. Cannot wait for the next part in the series.

When I started this book, my heart sunk a bit as Pepper was doing all kinds of crazy training. I knew why she went down this route and I could even understand it a little but I was just waiting for the inevitable crash and burn. As much as my heart hurt watching Pepper do this to herself though I also loved the angle this story took as it felt so realistic. Athletes do push themselves and their competitive edge can blind sight them and I fel

I never never thought that Ali Dean could write a third book that could live up to the first two in the pepper jones series, I was proved wrong. Pepped up and ready brings back all they characters we love. For anyone who loves Zoe or Wes, you will be eager to finish this book. Jace and Pepper continue to grow in their relationship, as we learn more about Their athletics and goals for the future. The couple still struggles with all the jealous girls, one almost as bad as Madison. I stayed up all ...more

This series gets better and better! I fell in love with Jace and Pepper two books ago and I still adore their sweet childhood friendship turned romance stories.

In book 3, we get to see Jace and Pepper's relationship challenged. They face many obstacles as Jace goes to college and Pepper trains for another track season. Pepper really matures as a character in this book. I think Ali has done a great job of developing the characters and showing how they grow from high schoolers to adults.

The third book in the Pepper Jones series is AMAZING! Ali hit it out of the park with this one. In the 3rd book, Pepper has to deal with relationship problems, racing problems, and a mysterious stalker, but the most important thing is she rediscovers herself in the racing world. But will Pepper get through all these obstacles and still have time to spend with her HOTTIE college boyfriend,Jace?

Love this book! Ali keep up the GREAT work!! :)

Pepper's stuck in high school while her boyfriend heads off to college, but lucky for them, campus is just down the road. However, all the pressures of being a senior, a sports star, and Jace's girlfriend are taking their toll, and before she knows it, Pepper's facing injuries and more jealous girls who seem far too interested in her boyfriend.

But... A common problem with a series that focuses on just one couple throughout is that there needs to be fresh drama in each new telling. In the first b

**Books 1-3 of this series were sent to me in exchange for my honest review**

The Pepper Jones series follows the life of a young track athlete named Pepper Jones and her life as a teenage girl trying to navigate her time through high school, her struggle with her feelings for her best friend, and her potential athletic career. This series is a ton of high school and teenaged drama that, quite frankly, isn't my cup of tea -- BUT I found myself seeing the char

I was so happy when I found out there was another Pepper Jones book and I was not disappointed. In this book Pepper is struggle with a lot of different issues - physical and mental. She has to work quite hard to maintain that level of determination that I love in her and endears her to me so much. There are also growing pains as she adjusts to many changes and challenges: Will she be able to live up to standard of being national champion? Will she and Jace be able to maintain their relationship ...more

Pepper for the win! Good series so far. Well developed main characters. Love the dynamics between Pepper, Jace, and Wes. And Gran needs her story told, feel like that would be a winner.

4-1/2 Stars. I'm a huge fan of Pepper Jones and her creator, Ali Dean. This third book in the Pepper Jones series is a departure from the other two. Still focused on Pepper's running career and her relationship with Jace, there's less angst and more drama in other areas of Pepper's life. Pepper has a lot to prove as the defending girls' cross-country national champion, so she's training harder than she ever has in her life. Wes is heading to an Ivy-league school soon, and Jace has moved to the d ...more

I enjoyed this book, because it kind of links back to the book before, and shows how strong Pepper and Jace's love is.

Pepper is finally a senior, and her goal? Is to be the National champion for 2 years in a row. Jace has moved to college, but wasn't expecting his status to follow him too. But unfortunately, it did. Pepper has to continue dealing with jealous and crazy girls. But when things start to get out of hand, will their love be strong enough to face the danger?

Coming into the third installment of the Pepper Jones series, I wasn't too sure what to expect. I was worried that it was going to be how life is so hard now that Jace is at college now and no longer in high school with her. Thankfully this is not the case, because there is nothing I hate more than a whiny female lead upset because her boyfriend won't spend every waking minute with her (*cough cough* Twilight *cough cough*). As the story is progressing,

Wow the growth in Jace is incredible and amazing to see. You do again see some foreshadowing and I believe he will do anything to keep Pepper safe. Even break her heart and I do believe this foreshadows what is going to occur in later books.

In this book Pepper goes overboard in training and doubts Jace even more when she is put in danger via his social status that he doesn’t even encourage. Because of him being a quarterback he is in a different category. He doesn’t go out and he spends time wit

Pepped up and ready is book #3 in the Pepper Jones Series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

It’s been ages since I read the last book about Pepper and Jase but it didn’t take me long to get back into the story and the characters.

I really like Pepper her character is incredibly likeable and she really does seem to have matured since the previous book.

Pepper works harder to defend her national champion record, but falls to an injury that could put her out of commission. This scares the crap out of her because if she can't run, then what else can she do? All she knows is running. Meanwhile, Jace is at college and it's a whole new ball game when he's not down the street anymore. Meanwhile, there's someone trying to break Jace and Pepper up. That or to ruin Pepper's chances of repeating her national champion title. Or it could be both? And who t ...more

So Disappointing!!!

I had such high hopes because I did enjoy the first two, but this one just fell flat for me. Firstly, it was most about just Pepper, not Pepper & Jace. Pepper training too hard, Pepper being injured, someone is after Pepper, etc....Second, the part about someone being after Pepper just seemed so forced & really far fetched! And that Pepper lets that keep her away from Jace and consider possibly not being with him anymore because of it. Again, far fetched, and just dumb

I love this Author! I started out reading her Stark Academy Series and waiting on the 3rd book! While waiting, I thought maybe I should dive into the Pepper Jones Series! I was addicted from the beginning. I love me some Pepper & Wilder! This is a YA Sports series about a boy and girl who grew up next door to one another. It is a five book series that will take you through HS to College.

Pepper is a strong willed runner with strong ambitions and Jace Wilder is the star Quarterback, not only

From my previous reviews you should get the gist of how i felt lol
pepper was extra annoying this time, i couldn't stand reading this book and i found myself asking why am i torturing myself but i stuck with it.

Though this book is a little darker, more violence and some sex involved including a crazy stalker that hurt pepper multiple times.

pepper was much more clingy in this book, all she thought about was jace and running, i mean it's fine in doses but couples don't have to be joined at the hip

I wanted so bad to give it a solid 4 but in the end decided to give it a half star short of that. Dont get me wrong. The love between Pep and Jace still amazes me. It just seemed like the other character's participation and action where put in there but got lost all of a sudden. I got confused. I don't wanna mention those instances to avoid spoiling anything. But other than that, I still enjoyed the book!

God, I love this series with Pepper Jones, Jace, Wes, Gran and all the others in the book. Angst, drama, stalking and just some cruel people makes this the best book yet of the series. Sheesh, my heart just broke for Pepper, thinking she may have made a different decision, that she thinks she's not strong enough to stand by her guys side but she is so damn strong. I can't wait to get to the next part.
Jace is finally not as much as a fuck boy. Pepper finally has some fire in her.
From time to time I'm still a little annoyed by how naive Pepper is about drugs and partying and such. An example would be her being surprised that baseball players would be on steroids or a frat guy on drugs. Then I have to remind myself that its just me being biased that everyone should know as much I know so idk
Rough Luck

I really enjoy the series as we see Pepper growing more mature. I liked that she didn't react first because she probably would have regretted the outcome. Jace is becoming more aware of the things that are going on around him and I like that. Overall the growing pains are becoming more intriguing as we progress
