Nivea 'Snow' White is the young heiress of her father's empire, but also of his drug dealing secret business. After his death, she takes the reins and tries to survive under the randar of the city's villains, the Seven Dwarves and their Queen. Add a handsome, dark, mysterious guy who lets her know that he's going to kill her sooner or later and you have your Huntsman.

"You are the Queen's property until the fairest harlot whose skin is as white as snow and hair is as dark as night is sacrificed by your doing. Be warned. Lies spew from her blood-red lips, but she will give you a worthy epithet."

This is a dark, twisted retelling of Snow White, so if you think that you'll be reading just a modern version, think again. It's not a 'love and flowers' kind of read. This story had a lot of mystery, suspense and adventure, so if that's what you're looking for, this might be for you.

I probably belong in the minority here, but this book didn't work for me. I wish it had, but sadly I must have missed the mark. I was very excited when I read the blurb and thought 'A dark retelling of Snow White? Hell yes!'. When I read the prologue, I was amazed and so intrigued, because it literally starts with a bang.

"We would be no good for each other but fate didn't care. Our destinies were interwined."

Sadly, there were so much information and so many names and facts that I nearly got drowned in them. I got so confused that I didn't know who was who. I was trying to decipher what was going on. Who should I be suspicious? Who was good and who was evil? I was so confused that I really felt stupid for not being able to understand.

I'm sorry, but this was probably not my cuppa, it wasn't because the writing was bad, because I liked the flashbacks and the characters were interesting, but somehow I struggled to understand this book and I didn't enjoy it as much as I wished I would. Since there are so many positive reviews out there, I think this is a case of

PS: I really appreciated the personal note by the author: "I do hope you find your prince charming, even if he's a book boyfriend." Thank you! <3

And they say the original fairytales were grim? Welcome to Sarah J. Pepper’s twisted world of fairytales that will delight and entertain, but on an adult level, so get your fuzzy blankey, grab your favorite teddy bear and be prepared to slip into another version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs called Snow White Lies and ask yourself if you are too old for these tales anymore or if you are finally just the right age!

Imagine the seven dwarfs NOT being Snow White’s protectors. Question the sanity and the loyalties of the Huntsman, and, Snow White? Whoa! She’s not an innocent, anymore! View flashbacks in time, the grit of a story gone askew and realize that Sarah J. Pepper has done it again!

This is no lilting tale, but a rapid-fire trip through time, deceit, mystery and evil, a fairytale all grown up, with the bite of reality, the magic of fantasy and the talent of Sarah J. Pepper’s pen. Who would think a beautiful princess, a wicked step-mother and seven dwarfs could morph so easily and believably into their updated, edgy rebirths? Makes me wonder what else is hiding in Ms. Pepper’s fertile mind…

What a twisted little web weaved here in Snow White Lies. I enjoyed the new spin on the more grown up version we have here. If you think you know the Snow White story you have no idea what you are getting yourself into reading this one.
We start off with the ever elusive rich girl Snow White whom does run parallel in loving animals, but that is where it seems to end. She is quite snarky, and I really enjoyed her sass. We switch through past and present when dealing with this story. The author does a good job setting up for the very end. Yes, before you ask there are dwarves, however these dwarves are not very nice for the most part. Of course we have The Nameless Man aka The Huntsman. He is going through some trials himself trying to get past a few things so he can just live out his days normal. I will sadly say that him and Snow White did not have very much interaction with each other even though the whole premise was surrounding them both.
There are also quite a few other players on the board in this tale. Without spoiling the whole thing I bet you can take a guess who they are.
In all I thought the writing was fantastic and the story line very clever.
3.5-4 stars.

The book mostly takes place in the present but is rooted in the stories of The Huntsman and dwarves in past flashbacks.

There is magic, explosions, scandals, betrayals, and a lot of darkness as well as humor in the story. A very modern re-telling of a classic. And while I absolutely LOVED the author's Alice in Wonderland re-telling in Death of a Mad Hatter, this one left me a bit scattered with questions I didn't find were fully answered. I think I got lost in my head a few times and that distracted me from the story.

I loved the characters of Snow and The Huntsman and some of the dwarves really engaged me, the Queen was not as much as an evil presence as I maybe would have liked. But it was quite imaginative and I do like being taken to other places with these re-tellings. This one just wasn't my favorite.

I couldn't wait to get started on this book. I've been dying to read a Sarah J. Pepper book for awhile now. I am happy to say I was not disappointed. In fact, I loved every word of it!! I tend to like dark and twisty books. This being dark and twisty AND a fairytale retelling made for an amazing experience. This is not your Snow White you grew up with. She isn't so perfect. The seven dwarfs were definitely a difference I wasn't expecting but absolutely loved. I do wish I had more of the present Huntsman rather than in the past but it wasnt enough to truly annoy me.

I'm excited to read Ms. Peppers other books and I have to admit I'd love to have a real conversation with her. I mean, she's gotta be interesting to think up a story like this!

*I've already read this gorgeous book because I am one of it's proof readers*
Holy crap, Batman! This book is freaking A-mazing! Like, wow.
Okay, so like probably all of you I grew up on Disney movies (I still go see all the new ones, but that's not really important). Anyway, I never really liked Snow White. Maybe it's because she had short hair, maybe it's because there was no action, or maybe it's because even at a young age I understood how sexist it was. I mean, come on! All she did was clean up after 7 men & then waited for a Prince to save her. Gag me, that was a terrible thing to instill in young girls.
Anyway, when Sarah told me this book would be about Snow White I was a little worried because of my dislike for the Disney version, and while I never doubt her talent, I was worried about how she would be able to make such an atypical damsel in distress into a heroine.
Well, I'm proud to report that she most definitely succeeded! Snow White is far from a damsel in distress and she sure as hell doesn't clean up after anyone, especially not a man. She's kind of what you'd nicely call a spoiled brat, although I'd call her another b word.
The seven dwarves? Yeah, they're still dwarves but definitely not do jolly and helpful. If you met one of them in the woods it's quite likely that you wouldn't make it back out the woods...alive anyway.
The Huntsman is really mysterious and gorgeous and the entire time you'll be questioning his motive. Sometimes I wanted to kiss him, other times I was looking for a knife.
There is gladly no Prince, because I mean, the Huntsman would probably kick his ass anyway.
This book literally starts with action and never stops, you'll be desperate for the next page the entire time.
Not gonna lie, you probably are gonna wanna throw the book, punch Snow, stab someone am maybe even give up your soul to put a hex on Seven, but no worries, you'll make it to the end!
I definitely love this book & Sarah & all her Twisted Fairytales. I'm looking forward to her next one, which I can assure y'all will be a real page turner. And while my favorite one so far will still have to be Locks, I'm still in love with all her books.
So while these books are unrelated to one another, you should still check out Death of the Mad Hatter and Locks: Rapunzel Unleashed. And definitely don't forget to pick up your copy of White Lies when it's released! I promise you won't be disappointed.

I was offered an e-ARC of Snow White Lies, by Sarah J. Pepper, in exchange for an honest review.

The description of this twist on the tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs sounded entirely fresh and intriguing to me. So, when I received it, I dug right in. In this version "Snow White" is a blogger, who is about to inherit a very large and extremely profitable business empire, left behind by her father. Snow White, also, seems to enjoy the media spotlight that most of her public antics bring about. Add in a mafia, comprised of seven dwarfs and their Queen, and the Huntsman, forced into their service and awaiting a certain "innocent's" arrival for three hundred years, and the plot weaves itself into an action-filled and complex storyline.

The story took off at a fast and furious pace and, although it did feel like it took me awhile to "connect the dots", most of the connections do come together beautifully, at the end. A few of the connections did feel like a bit of a leap to me, but keeping in mind that this is a twist on a fairytale, no matter what time or place it was set in, helped me to rely on the suspension of disbelief that is vital to this type of story. I enjoyed Snow White Lies very much and am looking forward to reading more from Sarah J. Pepper.

Do you enjoy the retelling of old fairy tales? Getting lost in the characters and their new and different adventures? I know I do.
Snow White Lies is just the book for you if you want a new and intriguing story about the old fairy tale. It does a good job of pulling readers into its world right from the start. So much is different in this story. Snow is not a scared and helpless girl. She is a woman, a strong woman who is ready to fight. I enjoyed seeing many of the characters from the original Fairy tale in much different roles in this book. This world may be full of magic but sides have changes and you can never tell who might be friend or foe.

This is an intriguing tale that grabbed my attention right away and has not let go. Even after reading that last chapter I am wondering just what more comes next and what secrets are still hidden. This story is fast paced and full of interesting characters and should not be missed.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the goodreads group Lovers of Paranormal, or LOP.***

I'm all about the dark and twisty, so I knew I would enjoy this retelling of Snow White.

Snow is the type of person that I really should hate, but damn it if I'm not pulling for her throughout the story. She reminds me of Serena in Gossip Girl from the wealth to the attention seeking tabloid stunts to portraying herself as far less intelligent and capable than she really is. Just as with Serena, I find myself wondering why I love her character in spite of all this. So many twists and turns in this one, and I was definitely not expecting the reveal at the end. I hope more books follow this, because I want more of the badass version of Snow we got a taste of in the end!

I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.

Snow White Lies is a modern twisted adaptation of Snow White. In Sarah J. Pepper’s world, though, the Seven Dwarves are demons and Snow White is anything but sweet and innocent.

The characters are complex and it is impossible to know who has Snow White’s best interests at heart. It sometimes seems that even she doesn’t have her best interests at heart. Snow White is a spoiled brat or, at least, that’s what she wants everyone to believe. The Huntsman is supposed to kill her, but there’s a strong attraction between them. Can he do it? Can she trust him?

Snow White Lies is fast paced with several surprises. If you like complicated tales with twists and turns and lots of deception, this story is for you.

This is Sarah's third book in the Twisted Fairy Tale Confessions, and this was by far my favorite. It tells the story of Nivea 'Snow' White like never before. The Seven dwarves are not like you imagine them to be, and the Huntsman is the deadliest man on Earth, willing to do anything to kill Snow.

At first this was a bit difficult for me to read about, mostly because of Snow White. The same happened to me with Sarah's other book of Rapunzel. Snow's narrating voice was annoying, extremely. Like she was this big thing when she was actually just a bitch with a head too big for her porcelain body. I couldn't stand her. But once I reached about 20% of the book I started to like her because there was more to her than what meets the eye. Which meant that me disliking her was the plan all along, in the same way she presents herself to the media as the spoiled child of the CEO of White Industries. She was a bitch all right, but you could empathize with her. She was also pretty badass, caring, independent, clever, and overall awesome.

Now the Huntsman... hot damn. That guy was sexy as heck. Just the thought of him has me like "ooohhh." BUT other than being sex on legs, the Huntsman had a super mega interesting back story. I can't go into detail because it might spoil something. All I can say is that he is a slave, a lieutenant for the Seven, an organization of Necromancers that serve the Queen for many, many years without dying.

Overall, it was an interesting story I enjoyed. It had a lot of twists I didn't expect about the characters and plot in general. It had a lot of new elements when compared to the original tale that were warmly welcomed. I loved the interaction between Snow and the Huntsman, even more because their romantic and sexy moments were limited. This wasn't a romance story. This was a story of treason, murder, dangerous magic, vanity, and many other topics the book tackled like what we believe of the social media that is often, if not always, manipulated, and the sacrifices we must face sometimes in order to reach a desired goal. I also particularly liked how diverse the story narrative was. There are times this confuses me or annoys me to no end, but this one didn't It's told in two Points of View, Snow White's and the Huntsman, in different periods of time of the past and the future. It kept things interesting, intriguing, and was an effective way to deliver gasp moments when you discovered the truth about someone when they did something in the past that explain their present. Something like that.

As much as I enjoyed this, the end has me frustrated still. By the end Snow White reaches her goal, sort of. I'm not really sure. And I wasn't sure about everyone's motives. Why did the Queen wanted to kill the fairest harlot? Why did the Seven work for the Queen? Why did everything happened in the end? For what purpose? It kind of felt useless to me, and the ending left me really confused. Even more with that plot twist of the Queen! Maybe I didn't read it correctly, but I was left with a heck of a lot of unanswered questions that make me wonder if there will be a sequel. Maybe, maybe not. It was great until the end that had me in-between liking it and disliking it.

However, I don't want to discourage you from reading this. It was a fantastic retelling of Snow White with lots of darkness and complicated love interests, not to mention extremely handsome and sexy. Definitely worth reading for everyone who likes their fairy tales dark and told in a whole different way than what is "normal."

ALSO, forgot to add that I LOVE that cover SO MUCH! At first I didn't know what it meant but once you read the book you understand it. It really captures Snow White and the general feel of the book <3

I have loved the other two Twisted Fairytale novels written by Sarah Pepper. I knew I'd end up loving this one as well because of the synopsis & overall idea of this novel. The cover! Ahh! The cover is amazing just like the other two in this series. So, so eye catching! I was super excited to get my hands on this baby!

But.... This one is definitely my least favorite of the three. :( It started out with a bang, I was loving it, and then it just started to feel like I was walking in circles. It's hard to describe. The characters & overall world built in this novel, the twist on the old fashion 7 dwarfs, was great. It was dark, gritty, and full of action.

The first bit when you're trying to learn who is who was a little difficult. It was a tiny bit hard to keep up with because so many characters were introduced so quickly which jumbled up my mind a little. I loved the Huntsman but would've loved to have seen more of him in the present and not so much in the past. I won't lie... I sort of skipped several flashbacks because I felt like the story wasn't moving in the present fast enough. I wanted to see more of the Huntsman & Snow White together. Just them interacting and not so much back and forth. I truly loved the dwarfs but I won't lie and say that they're easy to keep up with. LOL It's hard to remember and really create their identity within your imagination and hold it there when there are so many other characters bouncing around.

I know of all of that sounds so negative... ack. I don't mean to be a total debbie-downer because at the end, I really did enjoy the novel overall. The pace of the novel picks back up near the last quarter and I didn't want to put it down. It sort of had highs & lows for me. I'll definitely continue to read anything else this author puts out. This one just didn't quite live up to my hype. Maybe that's my fault. I've loved the other two sooooo much that I just expected the same thing from this one. : /

So overall, I liked it, not my favorite, but I did like it. Overall... a 3.5 for me.

Before I even talk about the book, can we just take a moment to admire the cover? It's gorgeous, and is possibly my favorite cover so far this year. Stunning.

I wasn't too sure what to expect when I started this book, I've never read anything by Sarah J. Pepper before. That said, this definitely wasn't what I expected. I don't mean that in a bad way, of course, but I've read a lot of retellings before so I went in with assumptions of how this would go, and I was definitely wrong.

Snow White Lies is not your mother's Snow White. It's a contemporary, new adult, urban fantasy-esque book that turns the familiar tale we all know on its head. There's familiar characters, such as Snow herself and the dwarves, but they're twisted into a whole new story. In this book, Snow is a blogger and good lord she is sassy. I loved it. She's a strong character and I liked watching her story unfold. I was never really quite sure what directions this book was going to take, which made it engaging and hard to put down. This is a darker retelling that has gritty/dark themes throughout the book, which helped to hold my attention.

I'd definitely read more of Pepper's work based off of my experience with Snow White Lies. I think grown up fans of fairy tales will eat this one up, and another chunk of readers will pick it up for the cover art alone. Fans of urban fantasy, as well as darker stories, I think would also enjoy reading this one.

I was provided a copy in exchange for my honest review. This review can also be found on my new blog, Bitches n Prose.

Oh Sarah Pepper! Your world is so dark and twisted! Such simple innocent fairytales of my youth turned completely crazy and insane that the deviant part of you wished they were like this the whole time. This is my second book by Sarah, the second time I have let her twist my beautiful fairytale.

"Snow White Lies" tells the new adult fantasy story of Snow White, The Huntsman and the seven dwarfs. Snow White is sarcastic and funny and nothing like the original (except her love of animals). The dwarfs are not the jolly singers, that is for sure. In fact, I am quite positive their friendliness and helpfulness are completely opposite. The Huntsman, what a mystery. This one you will have to make your own determination on whether you can like him or not.

All the above adds up to "Snow White Lies" and another amazing example of the twisted, fantasy world that Sarah creates. A true page turner of action, wit, twists and amazing dialogue, the "Twisted Fairytales" series by Sarah J. Pepper are absolute must reads!

ARC given by the author for an honest review.

So who likes fairy tales and happy endings? I do but after reading several of Sarah J Pepper's books, the real life fairy tale is so much interesting!

Everyone knows the story of Snow White. Seven dwarfs who love and protect, the evil queen who wants Snow White dead and the Huntsman who refuses to kill her and gives her a chance of living. Scrap all that because Snow White just got real and you are in for one hell of a fantastic read. In Sarah J Peppers version, the” Seven” dwarfs are evil, the Queen is well.....I ain’t even going to talk about her because I won’t spoil it for you. The Huntsman....mmmmm he is an extremely interesting character indeed and he's sooooo HOT! And finally there is Snow White herself, far from the sweet innocent Disney Princess you’ve seen in the film. In fact she is New York’s very own rich as sin, bachelorette and heir to White Industries who owns almost all of New York that is except Queens ;-) She is the most photographed and sort after "Celebrity" but it’s not just the paparazzi that are trying to hunt her down. Snow knows more than people think she does and it’s a fight for her life as things come to a head.

This is an amazing and fantastic and gripping read that will have you hooked from the start. Sarah J Pepper's imagination holds no bounds and this makes the books hard to put down once you start them.

A very well deserved Five Stars and I will, without a doubt be reading more of her work.

The story over all is an interesting one, if you can keep up with the years changing and a little history in there you should be good. This modern fairy tale shows the more cruel side of America today, and how corrupt has become. The story line did start off slow for me, but after getting through a good portion of the book, I could not stop reading it. I am a fan of books that do more than one POV. After reading the book the book cover is going to make so much sense to you. It has everything a NA reader looks for. The female lead is snarky, and quick tongued with a temper. The bad boy persona is handsome, with a trouble past and no remorse. The book over all i would rate at 4 stars. If you have read any of Sarah’s other works then you will enjoy this. If you are new to this flipped modern fairy tale genre i say just dive right in to this book. With all of the POV, and plot twist you feel like your going to lose your mind because the book does such a good job at putting pieces together, and having them make sense then. Its like the season finale on your favorite show. Your biting your nails, antsy as hell, and ready to know whats going to happen. Overall go give it a read and see why this book earned four stars from me. The book has been released today!

We all remember the beautiful Snow White. The fragile princess that everyone wanted to protect from the wicked queen. You couldn't help but love her. In the end she found her prince charming and lived happily ever after. Well forget everything you know. This is not a fairy tale, there is no happily ever after and prince charming doesn't exist. Born into a world of drugs, sex and hate Snow White does everything she can to just survive.
She knows that the only way to end this curse is to die but she will take down everyone she can before that can happen. She soon realizes her friends are enemies and the only one she trusts may be her undoing. She is stronger then anyone else thought and they soon see that Snow has a very unique gift.....Snow White Lies.
This book has just the right amount of darkness. The character development is incredible. It is so well written that I had to finish it in one sitting. I was drawn into this amazing darkness after only a few pages. I suggest you pickup this book you will not be disappointed. That is if you can leave the world of hearts and flowers and accept the lies Snow White tells.

Snow White Lies is the name of the Sarah J. Pepper’s newest book. Holy hell this book. When it says Snow lies its not exaggerating. This book is a great spin on the whole fairy tale story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs.
It starts out going back in time telling you about a nameless man, who you will eventually find out he has a name that Snow gives him later in the book. He is cursed with the ability to never age. He loses all his memories which he has a very hard time with throughout the book.
Snow appears in the present day and she has taken over her father’s business due to his death. She also takes over the illegal business he had as well. She is so not the same girl from the fairy tale you heard growing up. In fact she is even better in this version. She is a bada$$ and I loved every minute reading about her.
The seven dwarfs are there but in a totally different way that I was in awe of how good the author incorporated them. This book is a serious must read.
I am giving this book 5 hearts. GO. READ. IT.

I love books like this. Books that take a fairytale that everyone knows and loves and gives it a modern update are so completely awesome.
Snow White is not so innocent anymore, and the seven dwarves and the huntsman are completely different too. Snow White is a rich girl with a blog, and this is a very complicated but magical tale of mystery and deceit with a blog.
I was into this book. Like, I didn’t eat and forgot to go to the bathroom for a few hours into this book. It was one of the freshest books I have read in a while.
This tale is told through a series of flashbacks mixed in with present day. I thought the way the author did this was both intriguing and done very well. I was transported right along with the characters in the story and I have to say that this rarely happens. This book was extremely well-written and I applaud the author for writing a book that managed to retell an old fairytale but remain completely new at the same time. Bravo.
I would highly recommend this book. I’m certain this will remain one of my favorite books this year. 5 stars.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, if you are new to Sarah Pepper you are in for quite a ride! Her modern twists to our beloved fairytales are breathtaking! I bought her book Death of a Madhatter for the cover alone and was not expecting to be pulled into the world she created. She keeps doing it! I coveted Snow White Lies because I have never been disappointed with her books. It still remains true.

Poison has never been so tempting like it does coming from the Huntsman. Her innocence, pure of heart, is up for grabs and will bide his time. There are twists, bumps, and turns all along the way and you will wonder whom you can trust and who is waiting in the wings to profit from you. Snow is smart, witty, and really searching for her place in this messed up world. She doesn't shy away from danger, maybe she craves it a bit!

It may not be the fairytale we all remember but it's so much more and Sarah's brilliant mind will shake yours up for sure!

Enjoy!

Everyone knows the story of Snow White, right? Sweet, innocent girl, evil queen, 7 adorable dwarves, and of course the Huntsman. But what if everything want so "black and #white". What if Snow White wasn't so sweet or innocent? What if the dwarves weren't adorable? Or even good? Well that "what if" definitely gets answered in Sarah Pepper's modern day version of this not so modern fairy tale.

I have never read a more original story in my life! Sarah Pepper takes Snow White flips it on it's head and completely makes it her own. This book is 100% original and unique. It's chock full of action, betrayal, black magic, and much much more.

Snow White Lies is my first experience with Sarah Pepper's writing. I was left with a strong desire for a second helping. If you love a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you questioning everything and everyone, Snow White Lies is definitely the book for you!

I was lucky enough to be given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, thanks to Sarah j.Pepper

I am a massive fan of books that take the fairy tales we all (think) we know and love, and just turn them inside out and on their head!! I certainly wasn't disappointed with Snow White Lies, for a start before you even get to the book the cover is just gorgeous and draws you in. The story itself is a dark and twisting tale with elements and characters of the Snow White fairy tale, there's the 7, but not as we know them & I think that is an absolutely inspired idea. This is definitely a roller coaster of a book, that takes you through many emotions, well thought out plot lines and characters with glimpses of their past which gives them a deep element.
I really can't wait to read the next book in the series and urge you to buy this book (and the rest of the series), you won't be disappointed! :)

I have read 2 other of this authors twisted fairy tale confessions and i loved both. Death of a Mad Hatter and Rapunzel Unhinged. This author has the amazing ability to take the core of a fairy tale that we all read and spin it completely on its head. You have all the core elements of the original story in this case, 7 dwarves, huntsman, the wicked queen and of course snow white. Those characters all will play their parts but in an entirely mixed up, deliciously different way that leaves you gasping and entranced with each page you read. Their was some steamy romance in here but nothing that made me go running for the hills, the violence is appropriate for an adult audience and gives the story that much more depth and intrigue. You done it again Sarah you made me love an adult romance fantasy way to go.

*I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

Snow White Lies by Sarah J Pepper is absolutely fantastic!! I have never read anything like it. Snow White isn't your typical fairy tale princess. She is a total “B” and doesn’t need to be saved by a prince. This is a modern twist on a classic. There are Dwarves, seven to be exact. A Huntsman who is a mysterious bad ass.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I have to say I am now a fan. I love her style of writing! During the book I went through a roller coaster of emotions. One minute I am feeling sorry for Snow White and then the next I want to slap her! The same goes for most of the characters in the book. I laughed, cried, and cursed. I truly enjoyed this book! It’s a terrific read that’s unlike anything out there right now. I give this 5 stars!

This little gem of a story reminded me that fairy tales aren’t just for children. Snow White, the Huntsman, and the dwarves are twisted into an adult read that tantalizes your senses and will intrigue you like no other.

With this story, you dive right in with flashbacks, business toil, and surprises at every turn. Though, I’ll admit it took a bit to connect the pieces to feel like I had a good grasp at the beginning of the story. However, once you’re there it’s time to buckle up and enjoy the twisted little ride.

If you love a read with attraction and a side of taking a big bite right out of the forbidden fruit, this is a great one to grab. Another great read from Sarah J. Pepper. The Color of Ink received a copy in exchange for an honest review. (4.5 Stars)

This is actually the first book I’ve read by Sarah J. Pepper and I wasn’t disappointed! I will definitely be checking out her other books. ;)

This was such a unique concept. I loved the idea of taking a classic fairytale and spinning it into something different. I very much enjoyed this whole new twisted version that Pepper created.

The story never let up from the beginning. I was constantly questioning what would happen next and who was to be trusted. It was a great read!

I love fairy tales, and I really love fairy tale rewrites.
I really enjoyed this modern day version of Snow White, with so many twists and turns, I was drawn into the world that Sarah J. Pepper created in Snow White Lies, which is told in flashes from the past spanning back a few hundred years, it is a pleasure to see Sarah's version on the story unfold.

I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who loves Fairy Tale retellings you will not be disappointed.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

My review of Snow White Lies this was provided by the author for my honest review. I
Twisted Dark Fabulous
Take your everyday popular ordinary fairy tale and twist it into a whole new incredible story. This is not a sweet love story. Snow White is not pure and innocent. The 7 Dwarves are bad and maniacal. The Huntsman is mysterious, dark, and a bit crazy. The story is so wonderfully written and I couldn't read it fast enough.

I have just finished this book. As a huge Disney fan i am always wary when i read or watch things incorporating these characters so i was unsure how i would like this book.
I really enjoyed this book though, as always Sarah's writing style is awesome, i love reading her work. She was very cleaver when writing this book to make it not feel like a rip off, to make it unique and modern but still basing the charterers from the original
On the whole i really enjoyed this. Keep it coming Sarah :)
