Victor, Victor, Victor... You are one of my least favourite love interest. Also, my least favourite shifter, and Alpha Male. There, I said it. And, it's actually true.

The only reason I gave this book 2 ★ is because of Neri. She is kick ass, and she knows it.

One thing I liked about her was all of her (take that Victor). She didn't trust anyone, and that was OK, because she could take care of herself.

And Victor, Victor. He thought her weak. First because she was human, and then, to top it all off, because of her scars. And then, and only then, when she was healed, did he actually appreciate her.

And sure, you can counter it by saying that he actually saved her in the first place, he still put her down after it.

And look, as much as I appreciate dom/sub moments, it just seemed kinda forced. She is a feisty, strong, warrior woman, she don't need no man to take control.

And lastly, the fucked up society the Pack had.
•Humans are inferior
•European warewolves are inferior beacuse their blood is diluted and they're weaker
•Alphas can take second mates (mistresses), and their first mate is to make their 'pups' stronger in blood

Need i continue?

***The mix of Greek mythology and Egyptian mythology were just there to spice things up, but it just pissed me off.

I received this ebook copy in axchange of an honest review.

Arctic Bound is an interesting and very good paranormal romance that was well worth my time. However, I don't have time for a long and good review so I will just say what I liked and didn't like, starting with the latter.

Tigris Eden uses too many words where they aren't needed and this is the main reason my rating is so low. Actually, I think it's the only reason because the writing of an author is a really important thing to me and using so many unnecessary words just frustrated me. She loses herself in descriptions of things that I am not interested at the moment and makes the special moment more minor than it is.

Overall, everything else is fine. I pretty much enjoyed the characters' story and their personalities. I loved the action and everything else. I will read the second book when it comes out.

So, Victor and Nerina are two very funny characters to read about because they either fight, fuck or wonder how to get into another argument but throughout the book their relationship developed and it is really well done. I as well pretty much enjoyed the other characters like Blue (he is bae) and Cassandra. They were supportive in a conservative race so I appreciated them really much.

What else? I enjoyed the story and loved the action but I already said that so I guess my short review came to an end. This wasn't the best paranormal romance that I've rest but it sure as hell wasn't the worst. It is enjoyable so...

I got this book as an ARC and I must say...it was fantastic! The character of Nerina is strong, independant and beautiful. You couldn't ask for a more perfect heroine in a story. She knows her flaws and limitations but still, she lives in the harshest of climates, alone, save her two wolves.

Victor is a character who at first, I wanted to hate so much, but the more he was revealed the more I had to love him. He's dark, brooding and serious, but at the same time, you see a more sensitive side to him when it comes to Nerina.

All in all, this is by far one of the best books I've read in quite some time. Full of passion, adventure and verbal sparring that made the relationship between Nerina and Victor so perfect. The way the story plays out has such a beautiful ending. I can't wait to read more of the series and see what is next for the pack!

THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
First off HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO ARCTIC BOUND!!

I received an ARC of Arctic Bound and it’s definitely one of those books where getting an ARC is a blessing and a curse. I was so excited to get an ARC and read Tigris Eden’s new book early, and then I finished and all I could think was “now I have to wait longer than everyone else for the next one.” Sad I know, but I know the wait will be worth it.

Nerina is in hiding. Having escaped New York after the fire that killed her parent she’s hiding from the people she once called family. Burned and injured Nerina hides out in a small town in Alaska. All Nerina wants is a private life and that’s what she got until she meets Victor. The two butt heads instantly and Victor knows she’s hiding something.

Victor and his pack have formed a life up in the mountains secluded from humans and Hunters. Victor is soon to be Alpha and with is comes all kinds of responsibilities, like marrying Sasha. While he knows his duty he wants Nerina, and so does his warrior.

Arctic Bound was definitely not what I expected at all. I don’t want to give too much away so I kept what happens in the story at its minimum. Arctic Bound is definitely one of my favorite books this year. I cannot wait for more. Acrtic Bound has the supernatural with all diferent kinds of lore involved. We have Egyptian lore combined with Ancient Greek mythology. Seriously it can’t get better than this.

Nerina was a completely badass character. I loved her right from the start. Even though she’s injured she never lets it slow her down. She works hard to be independent and keep her strength up. Her personality is just amazing too. She’s straight up with everyone about who she is. She doesn’t back down and she goes after what she wants. Honestly Nerina is my absolute favorite type of character. She grows throughout the story, but is strong beginning to end.

Victor is a dick at the beginning of this book but explains is in a way where it would be understandable in the animal kingdom. Weakness isn’t tolerated in the animal kingdom which is why at first he doesn’t “like” Nerina. Victor is all Alpha male (in every sense of the word) and while he is a sexy and lickable character I liked that his character is the one that grew the most.

Arctic Bound was action packed. I enjoyed the fight scenes and that things blew up and or course how our two amazing main characters kicked major bootay. The sexy scenes where Nerina was BOUND he-he get the name now? No? Okay then anyway bondage was a huge part of Victors and the wolves’ lifestyle which was a definite surprise. You are going to need a fan for this one peeps.

Honestly there were so many twists and turns and the surprise that happens near the end, which changes the entire way I looked at the story and characters before was a huge mind blowing moment. I was definitely kept on my toes and am desperate for more of this series.

I love Tigris Eden as an author and here’s why. She puts everything I want in a book without it being too much. I am a huge fan of adding diversity into books and Tigris delivers. Nerina is biracial which is so freaking cool since I rarely ever read about biracial characters. Her female characters sometimes come across as weak, but in the end they take the most hits and keep getting back up to kick butt. She adds humor, action and has realistic characters in a fantasy world that you wish was real. She never overwrites because I loathe endless amounts of description and everything in the book comes across as natural. Tigris is definitely fantastic, so if you haven’t picked up her books yet, you should seriously start.

This is my first book by this author and I have to say I liked the premise of the book. Kick ass strong female Nerina. Massively alpha Victor. Set in Alaska. Werewolves vs Vampires. I really wanted to like this book more than the 3 star rating I gave it. Victor is the main reason why I don't. What an attitude toward Nerina that she was less than him, less than his soon to be mate, she is mine, mine, mine and only good for kinky, I'm going to mark you rope/bondage sex. Even when she saves him he doesn't give her credit. I really like Nerina's take no crap from anyone, sure and strong in her abilities even when she was drawn into the sex. It felt coerced to me at times. And I really like how she constantly challenged Victor and he didn't like it! I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep reading this series. I really want her to be his equal in all ways.

Trying to put the darkness in her life behind her, Nerina Simpson is forced into town by a winter storm where she runs in to the arrogant Victor Canidae and its obvious that just like the rest of the town, he wants her to leave in this exciting paranormal romance.

All Nerina wants is to hide in solitude and leaver her past behind her and Victor’s torn between not trusting her and wanting her and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story by these strong captivating characters as they draw the readers into a fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of excitement and romance. The chemistry between Nerina and Victor burns hot enough to melt the polar ice caps and the sex scenes are even hotter but the relationship is in one heck of a mess due to cultural differences that could tear these two completely apart no matter how bonded Victor’s other half is to her.

There is never a dull moment as Victor and Nerina has sparks flying in every direction…I mean he is an arrogant sexy alpha wolf and she is not submissive…at least most of the time. Then there is all the danger and excitement as wolves clash with hunters in some exhilarating action scenes and Nerina finds out some things about her past that adds sparks to an already explosive situation. Spine tingling excitement and anticipation builds throughout the well written scenes and details that bring the story to life and to spice things up even more there’s a female wolf that has her hooks into Victor.

The well orchestrated events of this romance keep readers on the edge of their seats and ensure that the readers want to know everything. I was completely bewitched by the Arctic Wolves and their fascinating world and I can’t wait to read the next one – oh and you just have to meet Blue…he just might be hot enough to make clothes spontaneously combust.

***Since my copy of this book is an ARC, I cannot speak of any errors I may have or may not have found***

Arctic Bound follows Nerina and Victor, two people from two very different worlds who not only have to get past their differences, but work together to say their town.

This story combines the old Egyptian lore of Anubis and his creating of the original werewolf packs, and the Ancient Greek myths cerntering around Artemis and her infamous silver bow. The story is woven beautifully and the reader will feel they are right there as the events unfold. There's enough twists and turns in this book to keep the reader on their toes and keep the pages turning.

I feel this book is the perfect read for the lovers of true werewolf lore (not the media drivel that's spewed everywhere) It's not only a lesson on old lore, it's a story of love that ignores tradition and race.

This book does end with a cliffhanger, so those who dislike them will just have to deal or risk missing out on an amazong book.

I eagerly look forward to the next book in the Arctic Wolves series.

I give this book 5 of 5 paws

Another wonderful book by Tigris Eden. I loved Nerina. She's sassy, intelligent, damaged, and all around kick-a%%. Regardless of the things that she has been through, she doesn't compromise herself.
Victor seems arrogant, cold, uncaring at first. Considering all of the "rules" that he has to follow, I can understand why. I enjoyed watching him try to control Nerina and her actions.
The secondary characters definitely added depth and feeling to the story. We are left with questions, but not necessarily a cliff-hanger. I am anxious for more in this world!

He craves her submission, she craves his body and her freedom.

*Warning ~ contains bondage, submission, and more.

***I received an e-ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.***

I’ve recently started reading Eden and now I can’t stop!
Arctic Bound gripped me hard and wouldn’t let go; I found myself drifting back to it every time I tried to put it down and it has still stayed with me, despite the fact that I finished it a couple days ago.

While it did wrap up for the most part, didn’t end on a cliffie, it definitely left me wanting more. Luckily ‘The Reaping’, the next book is free so that isn’t a problem.

The editing is done well in this book.
Also there’s something for everyone: action, drama, crime, romance, shifters, vampires, comedy… I strongly recommend this one.

ARC REVIEW

I’m new to Tigris Eden, I have heard good things. Now that I have read her work I have to agree her stuff is good; good and dirty. It had a good start and just kept building; going more in depth character and story wise. This is the first in a new series called Arctic Wolves it introduces Talkeetna, a small town in the Alaskan wilds completely populated by wolf shifters. You met the alpha family and somewhat about their politics and some of their history. I enjoyed it but there were certain things that just rubbed me the wrong way but that’s just personal preference and it wasn’t anything so major it ruined the book.

Nerina Simpson is hiding out and grieving the death of her parents. She was caught in a house fire trying to save her parents and received major burns over her body. On the run for a while from her uncle who wants her dead all because she is the illegitimate daughter of a notorious crime boss and she is a liability; so she has been on the run and now she hopes the little Alaskan town is far enough out of civilization to stay hidden. The house she bought came with two dogs, not that she minded she liked the company. The town doesn’t really like her there, she doesn’t care she likes the solitude. Everything is going good until Victor Canidae comes back to town.

Victor Canidae is the next pack Alpha and it is his duty to unite his pack with another one by mating their Alpha’s daughter, even if she is a manipulative bitch. When he first met Nerina he dismissed her immediately as weak because of her injuries; but that didn’t stop the attraction he felt for her. Not wanting to admit to his feelings he tries to find out who she really is to make sure she is not a Hunter. Hunters are pretty self explanatory, they hunt the wolf shifters.

The truth of who Nerina is comes up when friends from her past show up with a job for her to do. With a crime boss as a father and growing up in that life style she became an assassin. Her target she finds out is Victor. Nerina chooses her new life to her old and warns Victor. This is where everything goes downhill. When they think they are safe back in town getting ready for a winter storm Nerina notices one of her dogs is missing when she goes in the woods to look for him she is attacked by a bear she is saved by a white wolf. She thought she was going to die but she wakes up later huddled in a cave with a very naked Victor. In order to save Nerina, Victor shared his blood with her which also meant he had to reveal the secrets of the town which Nerina takes very well. They give in to their desires with the understanding that after they leave the cave it’s all over.

Victor is confused, he knows his duty as Alpha for his pack but he cannot stop thinking about Nerina. He wants to push her away but can’t stop feeling protective over her. Their worlds collide as Nerina past catches up with her and an unlikely tie between their families is revealed. It has an evenly paced story with excitement and erotic evenly balanced and just the right amount of bondage. The follow-up novella comes out in the fall but good news it’s free, I have already put in my pre-order for it. I look forward to the rest of the series especially if Blue, bondage master extraordinaire, gets his own book.

Ms. Eden brings us an amazing story. Artic Bound kept me guessing! Dosen’t happen often but I was stunned speechless a few times with plot twists I never saw coming.
Nerina, is a hiding in a small cabin in Alaska. She was badly burned in a fire and her scars are both physical and emotional, however, she is strong and independent. She has a secret past that unfolds through the novel. She is working on living and healing in the harsh climates of Alaska, with the two dogs the previous owner had.
Victor is a werewolf and is meant to be the pack Alpha come spring. He is all Alpha and a lot of jerk at times. He has the future of the Pack on his shoulders and he takes it seriously. I was happy when we got to see him care – he cares about his family, friends, and his pack. But, can he care for Nerina.
The two together is combustible! They will make you laugh and make you want to smack some sense into them now and again. Altogether awesome!
I will note this novel isn’t for the meek. It is full of adventure, arguments, fighting, it has rope play (which I must say was vivid), BDSM and hot as the 4th of July! I look forward to reading the rest of the series to see what adventures and passion flair for the Alaska Pack

This was my first book by Tigris Eden. I didn't know what to expect from her books or her as an author and I was pleased with her imagination. The plot of this book was excited and action packed. Her take on the lore was fun and different. I liked the characters even though I felt they were a little under developed emotionally. I do need to mention that this book is very raw as far as editing, I hope that she will have it redone for future readers because I am afraid that readers wouldn't give the series a chance based solely on that. If you can get past the raw editing, this book has a lot of potentially to go in amazing directions as a series and I am excited to see what she does with it and which other characters we met in book 1 will get their stories :)

I want to make sure I mention that this book has explicit sexual content and can be listed as a BDSM genre book. I did not see that listed or noted any where before I bought the book.

Actual Rating is 3 1/2 stars, Arctic Bound is new and fresh and has amazing potential but as an avid reader I expect more form the editing and beta readers working with an author and I felt that some of the "holes" and content took away from the story and the characters development. there were times I was confused and I know that a good redo as far as editing would skyrocket this book!!

Do you want dark and brooding? Check. Do you want a heroine with a troubled past? Check. Do you want the leads to not be physically perfect? Partial check. Do you want all your paranormal favourites in one place? HUGE CHECK!

When I was offered a copy of this book to review I jumped at the chance. I love this author and her paranormal series that she already has out, The Shadow Unit (if you haven’t read them already I urge you to give them a go, and indeed this series looks like it will be just as good.

Nerina the lead has been left scared by a horrific fire leaving her to seek solace and isolation in a small town. What she fails to realise is that the town and her new found friends, both human and animal, hide secrets.

Victor is a stickler for the rules and views Nerina’s presence in the town with disdain. So what happens when the two collide, and their two worlds?

The answer, a fast moving tale that reveals itself in such a way that you are left turning page after page wondering what on earth will come next. I have to admit to not fully seeing Nerina’s past this leaves me wondering about her future too which is a plus point for any author that achieves this.

I for one am anxious for the next instalment from this series, in fact any book this author produces.

I sure got a surprise with this book. I wasn't expecting a rather deep story inside, I figured it was just a shifter romance. (Which I love) But there is more, there is story inside that is great and I can't wait to read more about the wolves and the hunters.
Nerina and Victor don't start off too wonderful. Victor is the kind of guy that you love to hate. First impressions are important, right? well his wasn't very impressive. In fact I thought he was pretty ignorant and thought himself high handed. But as the relationship between him and Nerina starts to grow, we see a different side to him, and well you can't help but start to love him.

This was a great book, I am just disappointed that I have to wait until October to read more about these two.

This is a great beginning to a new series. A fresh and exciting story with a heroine that is just as strong and determined as the hero. Nerina thinks she has secrets to hide, but she has no idea that she possesses secrets she isn't even aware of. Just when you think you have everything figured out about Nerina and Victor's future, a boatload of new twists enter the story. A fresh approach to werewolves and their origin is introduced in this series that has me eagerly waiting for the next installment.

Nerina is on the run from her family. In order to survive she has to lie low. Unfortunately, when she suddenly lands on Victor’s radar, things begin to quickly spiral out of her control.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this book or this author, but it was kind of like a paranormal ‘Fifty Shades’ experience. There’s nothing really wrong with that though. It was a good read, it just wasn’t brilliant. There was something about the writing style that just didn’t work for me, as certain scenes just seemed to drag on. I think I really disengaged with the story after our leading man cheats on our leading lady, even if in the eyes of his pack it wouldn’t have been considered cheating. Victor eventually recognises Nerina for who she is to him and yet even after working this out, he doesn’t do right by her. He stands up for her a little too late for my liking. What I did really like and enjoy about this shifter story was the addition of the third form and the inclusion of the links to Egyptian mythology. I loved Menes, it’s just a shame he isn’t a little more opinionated when it comes to what Victor is doing. Blue is another quality character to look out for, but even though I liked him, I’m not sure I want to continue with the series and read book 2.

Having read Arctic Bound, I would definitely recommend you read The Reaping and complete Nerina and Victor’s story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was fast paced with great characters, it was hard to put down. Werewolves and vampires but with subtle differences to the norm which made for interesting reading.

Nerina, the female lead, was a strong no-nonsense character but still had a vulnerability about her.
Victor was a brooding dominant who didn’t know a good thing unless it was waved and slapped in his face. It is obvious they are going to get together but the story leading up to it kept you interested. The sex scenes are pretty graphic, easy to read, but not for the faint hearted. I didn’t mind them at all as they seemed to fit the two main characters and the story.

I enjoyed the other characters mentioned and hopefully some will be getting their own stories. The interaction between all the characters is believable and a smooth read.

Some parts of the story seemed overly long, but I am sure it was to set the scene for other character stories to come. I just wanted to get to the actual meaty part of the story as soon as possible!! Once you get there though, you really can’t read quickly enough. The action descriptions are vivid and keep you turning and turning the pages.

I would recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Extremely Adult

Artic Bound is book 1 of Tigris Eden's Artic Wolves series. The book has consensual BDSM scenes. It is Not intended for anyone under the age of 18. Artic Bound tells the story of Victor, a werewolf and Nedria, a character that is evolving throughout the story. Tigris brings her readers a new mythology in the world of werewolves and vampires. It involves both Greek gods and goddesses and the Egyptian god of the dead Anubis. Her mythology is fresh and different from any werewolf and vampires story I've read before. Her characters are full of energy, history, loyalty, betrayal, family, friends, lust, power, control and love. While I've never been one to read BDSM style love stories, I must say I found this interesting and intriguing. If you aren't into bondage that's okay because the story has so much more to offer you'll be drawn into wanting to know what's next for the characters. The Reaping is next and I can't wait to see what happens.

So, I was given this book for an honest review. Well, here it is... I loved it. I gave it 5 stars because I really liked the story line. Now mind you my opinion on BDSM is not my scene but this book was written well. There wasn't too much graphic stuff going on but enough to make you want to read more. I liked the fact the setting in this book was not a bunch of teenagers. I also liked the fact it had werewolves and vampires in it.

Nerina was a great character. She has fought her entire life for herself. The way she doesn't give up and stays true to herself is inspiring. And Victor, well, he's an ass. But...so what. He comes around. Really he is trying to stay level headed about pack laws and such because Nerina knows nothing of the sort. She will learn in due time though.

This book, is now one of my favorites. Come on book 2. I really want it, like yesterday.

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily giving my review and my honest opinion about it.
This is the first time that I have read a book by Tigris Eden and I must say her writing is different than any other author’s book that I’ve read. There’s action, suspense, romance and some erotica and some light BDSM. Now I did flip through and not read the BDSM parts because those parts just annoy the heck out of me but other than that the story was good different but good. I’ll definitely be reading more of her work in the future. Because I got to know what happens to Neri and Vic. I recommend you at least try this book because there’s no harm in trying because I did and I am glad I did.

I received a copy of this book and I gladly leave my review.
This is the 1st book I’ve reviewed for Tigress Eden and I’m a big fan of her books and this one is no exception. There’s a lot of BDSM in this book and I love that too, this is the story of Victor and Nerina and what they go through to finally be together. I like that Nerina is a strong woman and can kick butt if she needs to. There’s vampires, werewolves and humans abound in this book, great read and characters and sizzling hot BDSM scenes. I just loved this book and I can’t wait for the next one, I recommend this book to anyone that loves the paranormal and BDSM scenes.

this story actually get 4 1/2 stars....
Nerina is a woman on the run from her own family... she survived a tragic fire in which her parents died... but some how she did not. She finds herself in a remote cabin in Alaska with two dogs she inherited when she bought the place.... Once a month she goes into town for supplies... normally she is in and out, but on one occasion she runs into the store owners son Victor... and immediate attraction as well as hate hits them like a tons of bricks.
Ms. Eden knows how to spin a tale...and she has a twist near the end I surely did not see coming!
I look forward to more books by this author.

A Great Read if you are into the Paranormal

This is my review and how I see it. In my first ever novel by author Tigiris Eden, Arctic Bound explored the paranormal of werewolves, humans, and vampires like I haven't read before. This action packed, bdsm filled book is definitely worth a read. It is full of drama and uncovers so much that the heroine decides to run, but proves that she is a ride or die woman for the man/werewolf she ax submitted too.

I am off to read book 2.

Let me start by saying I love a book with a strong female and this book has it with Nerina. I liked all the different paranormal aspects of the story and that they were different then every other book of their kind. I finished it in one sitting. . Victor and Nerina have a chemistry but the aren't sure why. It adds too the book . great story.

Nerina Simpson fled the streets of New York City, to Talkeetna, Alaska. Physically scarred from a fire that claimed both her parents, Nerina keeps to herself while she tries to put the darkness of her life behind her.
Here she olides with Victor Canida, who is so different from her, but eventually the two ding their way to each other, while batteling his enemies, great story and fun to follow

Very boring! A huge amount of text about nothing. The first sex scene is tedious running on for 23 pages!!! 23! The first part is 8 pages long, where they start to have sexual contact but stop to talk, then they start up again and theactual sex scene goes on for 13 pages more of boring rambling tediousness that is not sexy at all. This is just not good!
