The Winter of Discontent

Sarah Trent is your average sixteen year old girl. She likes sports, movies and bowling. Having travelled throughout Europe with her father all she want's now is to stay in one place long enough to make friends and to study for her exam's. In other words, 'A normal life'

Erik Zauber is not your average sixteen year old boy. Born into a world of magic and intrigue, his life is turned upside when he falls for 'mortal' Sarah. All isn't quite as it seems though, in this the first in the Four Seasons series.

You'll never look at Warlocks the same way again!

Hi there

Welcome to my Author Page.

My first fully finished novel, The Tin Man, was published in 2013.

I then moved onto something a little more commercial when I wrote the first of a four part supernatural series, Four Seasons: Winter of Discontent. I had so much fun writing this book that I quickly moved onto the second in the series, and within 18 months I'd completed all four books.

2016 is lining up to be an exciting year, with talks taking place to turn my books into films.

I've had amazing support from those I know, and those I don't, that have read my books, and I'm eternally grateful for every review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the world T.S Harvey has created in her tale of warlocks. Sarah and Erik don't just have the usual worries of teens negotiating school clicks, mean spirited peers, bullies, and struggling to find true friendships, they have the added issues of a maturing male warlock and facing a hostile secret world of magic to contend with, too. Set in the real world, Erik struggles to keep his secret that he is a warlock, and it's only made more difficult when the new girl, Sarah, catches his attention. Soon the draw he has to her attracts the attention of other warlocks searching for the Moirai. Now Erik finds himself performing illegal magic to protect the mortal woman he is falling head over heels in love with. The side character of Jared, Erik's brother, was also a particular favorite of mine and I am particularly interested in seeing how that character develops across the series.
