અખબારી કામગીરીમાં ક્રાઈમ એ મારો વિષય નથી, પણ એક પત્રકાર તરીકે મારા રસના અનેક વિષયો પૈકીનો એક તો ખરો જ. હું સડસડાટ એ સમાચાર વાંચી ગયો. સંબંધિત રિપોર્ટર સાથે ય થોડી ચર્ચા કરી. ચોરાયેલી મૂર્તિની તસવીર જોઈને તાજુબી ય અનુભવી. પછી તરત હું એ સમાચાર ભૂલી પણ ગયો. લગભગ વીસેક દિવસ પછી એક વરિષ્ઠ પોલિસ ઓફિસરનો મારા પર ફોન આવ્યો. ‘અરે યાર, એક ચોર પકડાયો છે. તારે મળવા જેવો છે...’ - અને એમ એક ભેજાંબાજ મૂર્તિચોર સાથે મુલાકાત થઈ અને એ મુલાકાતમાંથી ઘડાઈ ગઈ એક નવલકથા... 64, સમરહિલ.

Superb book! It was so thrilling that I could't wait to finish last 100 pages. Author has tried to walk on the track of Ashwini Bhatt and has been successful to a great extent. Concept of connecting archaeology to ancient learning and science is amazing.

A Superb fiction novel with so many facts beautifully wrapped into it...

Facts about India, Ancient India,archaeology, Rann of Rajsthan, Pakistan terror at border, Hindu religion, Buddhism, Lama, India-Tibet border, Chines tyranny over Tibetans, Tibetans patriotic feelings, Rahul Sankrityayan, Hindu's great knowledge literature, Shankaracharya's vision... So on..., so many facts are covered with a Strong Action-Thriller Story.

આ બુક વાંચ્યા પછી ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય માં પણ અનેક ઘરેણાં ઑ છુપાયેલા છે એ વિચાર વધુ પ્રબળ બની ગયો છે.
આટલી સૂક્ષ્મ વિગતો આવરી લેતી બુક આખા ભારતીય સાહિત્ય માં ગણી ગાઠ્યી જ છે.
અને એમાં પણ ગુજરાતી ભાષા માં લખાયેલી આ વાર્તા એક છુપાયેલો હીરો જ છે.

Pure Thiller..!! જો વચ્ચે થોડો સબ્પલોટ ના આયો હોત તો આ એકદમ માસ્ટરપીસ સાબિત થાત. પણ અશ્વિની ભટ્ટની લખાવટ આખરે લાંબા અંતરાલ બાદ ધૈવત ત્રિવેદીમાં આવી એનો આનંદ છે.
