Most people think of science fiction as a feature of the modern world, but some of the best science fiction stories were written more than a hundred years ago, by the French writer, Jules Verne. Many things that he wrote about have since come true: his stories 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea' and 'Around the World in Eighty Days' are now more fact than fiction. Here is one that hasn't come true yet - but who knows, perhaps it will soon?
Faraday’s adaptations for Ladybird, so far, seem to bore my child. Even when we listen to the audio (which you can find on You Tube). Adaptations by some of the other authors seem to be faring better.
