My bar is pretty high on these types of books. I want to laugh...hard. The kings (IMO) are Tina Fey and Jenny Lawson, so it's not easy to impress me. I've read several books by professional comediennes recently that were very disappointing. I thought my days of laughing while reading a memoir were over...until this book came along.

Baker. Is. Hilarious.

What I appreciate is that she's funny in an organic way. You know she's writing exactly how she talks to her friends. This is no dog & pony show.
