Edit: Feb, 25th: I’ve found all the little creatures, worlds, objects and things and have long since started meticulously coloring. That will be called my second reading. All the coloring.
I love the art in this book. I had been looking at it for quite a while. It is very finely detailed and I think takes a meticulous mind to color it. I made up my mind that my husband would love it, so I got us both a copy and when we started coloring even the meticulous coloring was relaxing.

Wow! I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I just finished coloring my first page from it and really love it. I'm sure you've see many colored pics from this book on FB. Some colorists have amazing blending and shading skills. The results are gorgeous! I like to stick with markers, and am pretty happy that way. The paper in this book is very thick and I didn't have any marker bleed-thru at all. The pictures are of animals but with an array of wild, crazy, goofy characters making up their bodies. I

So, I've finally got my hands on it thanx to my older sister who got it for me as a present!
My first colouring will be for the: Colours of the seasons - September 2016 challenge!
Since it's an Autumn & Winter season challenge and one is just over while the other began, I'm gonna go for the transition between the two, so Autumn/Winter it is!
These lovelies were chosen for it:

And just like it's with my Enchanted Forest review, this one will also get bumped whenever I'll be done with a new piece :)

If you like a colouring challenge then this book is worth getting your pencils out for.

A really nice colouring book overall, it has some beautiful artwork to colour the only slight issue I had is that I'm not one for the "draw your own" pages where you continue drawing a pattern or element on the page which took it down a star for me but it has plenty of just colouring pages to keep me interested and make it worth the purchase.
I used Staedtler finer liners and I haven't found them to bleed through the paper, though I don't press too hard with them. However, when I do press down wi ...more

Although not a reading book this has been a great book to colour in with my 4 & 7 yr olds we use gel pens which are neon against the bold print and have found it has helped with their motor skills holding pens and handwriting for the elder one. Me, I enjoyed trying to find the little figures with them and making up stories about what's was happening in the picture and what the animal might symbolise. I did wait for this for a long time but it really is fun to see the end pictures. It's not total

I have yet to finish colouring everything in here, but I have "read" it. I found all the hidden objects, made colour schemes and even purchased a copy for someone else because I love this book so much. I wouldn't recommend a colouring book without thoroughly enjoying it myself first. That's just how I am with these types of things.

What an awesome coloring book. The attention to detail is great. I'm stilling working on mine.

The images and spots to add ones own images are all amazing! I love this book, I immediately flipped through it once I got it. I got it as a free giveaway here on good reads and I can see myself looking for the other books by this artist after I finish this one. Though that might be a while due to all the intricate variety of detail each image holds or offers to be placed.

Przede wszystkim cudowna kreska Kerby'ego i jego talent ...more

I’m absolutely sure you have seen Animorphia at least a few times now but hey, can’t have too much of a good thing now can you. Animorphia is an amazing book filled with tons of fun details, animals morphing into all kinds of strange things and creatures.

My absolutely favourite colouring book. I have the Dutch edition. Great illustrations, full of fantasy. Unique. One of a kind. The paper quality of this edition is one of the best paper qualities I have seen in colouring books, not to say the best. When I first saw it I didn't buy it because I thought it was too complicated and difficult to colour, until my dear husband bought it to me as a gift and I fell in love. You can use your fantasy with the little critters but try to keep it "down to ear

I just ordered this from Amazon. I love to color. It's very relaxing while at the same time stimulates the brain. I also use some of the pages as gifts and to decorate.
Be aware though that most of the pictures go across both pages which causes anything in the middle fold to be hard to color. Like the body of the butterfly, the face of the ram & peacock and some of the smaller detailed animals. ...more

Philippines-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes works mainly with ordinary black fine liners to magically illustrate his “doodle” world. Considers his art as a personal hobby which turned out to be his part-time freelance work after being recognized by various design blogs, international magazines and online art communities. Most of his works are characterized by whimsical lines, patterns, characters
