Exactly what it says on the tin - it's a guide to Japan that focuses on the practical "How do I rent an apartment?" type of questions, rather than a broader cultural guide. For what it is, I thought it was reasonably solid except for one major problem - its section on health care completely left out how to go about seeking mental and psychological health care.
