So, this book is bad. At least it was free, so I don't have to fight anyone to get my $$ back. Every page presents a fresh opportunity for another eyeroll. I think I strained my optic nerves, I rolled mine so much.

Notable problems:

1. Rapid-fire POV switching. POV switches after each skimpy chapter (seriously, they're like 3 pages long), to the point of getting mental whiplash.

2. And the chapters themselves are BORING. The author creates an entire scene just to show something that really deserv
This book automatically lost one star for the "Mr. Sexy" shenanigans. It is absolutely not acceptable to have your main character refer to the love interest as Mr. Sexy. Especially not when she's totally serious. And definitely not for the duration of the whole novel.

This book had issues. The plot was fabulous, the plot twists were fine, the concept was great. The execution was poor. Very little world-building in regards to the sorcerer concept. There's a governing body mentioned - what are the

This one gets 3 stars only because for majority of the book it kept me intrigued. I needed to know what was going to happen & the why of it all. Even though it had its moments of complete cheese fest/stilted/choppy, dialogue. But when it was time for the answers & climax to come about, it fell apart completely.

Misplaced emotions during life or death situations. The main reason why Scott stayed away, being completely disregarded, only to be brought up again as a weak cliffhanger at the end of the

His family of sorcerers was cursed in love long ago and must resist the pull to their heartmate or risk their death if they met too soon, but Scott could walk in dreams and there he could spend time with Olivia. Olivia believed these dreams to be just that, vivid, romantic dreams.

A seventeen-year-old high school student, Olivia has also caught the attention of the school jock, but is he merely human competition or is there something more sinister in his attentions? Fearing he will lose Olivia, S

Meh! I don't know about this one, it was dull for all I know, so predictable, nothing that could make the story a page turner.
But I'm really curious to know the rest.

Magic isn't always what you think it is.
The love story between Scott and Olivia is one that will keep you reading until the last page. Between learning the secrets of Scott to realizing that Olivia has secrets of her own, you won't put down the book.
Scott is one of those male characters that will make you fall in love with him as you go with him on his journey to meet Olivia.
Olivia is your typical high school female but with major secrets that she doesn't even know about. She's funny, silly, a

Little does she know that he's someone named Scott, a sorcerer who's just around the corner, lurking, admiring, loving from afar. But they can't see each other, they can't meet outside their dreams. That is how things should be between them.

I love how Felicia writes this book from 2 point of views. Olivia is a young girl who is in HS and has these dreams at night that are with this Hot and Steamy fellow that she has never met, but yet the dreams feel so real, Than we meet Scott who is a young Sorceror who is Heart mates with Olivia and is dream walking, trying to not spill the secret that he is real and he has to stay away from her until her Half Birthday or she will Die before her next birthday. This was an enjoyable read. The story was great and the last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat. Also, the characters were awesome. I really liked Scott and Olivia. The romance aspect was also very sweet, and I loved it more because it was paranormal, fantasy romance. I thought the end was great and made me want to read the sequel. I can’t wait to read it. Overall, a great read.

Below you will find my SPOILER-FREE SERIES REVIEW

Amazing. Phenomenal. Addicting. THE WHITE AURA SERIES by Felicia Tatum is a MUST, especially if you’re a fan of YA Paranormal Romances! With twists and turns that had me guessing what would happen next, these books were true page turners. I was hooked from the very beginning and they held my attention all the way through.

Felicia Tatum developed fantastic characters that were easy to understand and relate to. Her writing style was, to me, impeccab

White Aura is the story of 17 year old Olivia Whitehead, 20 year old sorcerer Scott Tabors, and a family curse. It is a magical story with danger, intrigue, romance, and suspense. It’s the first book in the White Aura series and although it took me a while to connect with the story I really enjoyed it once I did.

At first, Olivia “Livvie” really got on my nerves. She was contradictory, one second she was okay with her looks and

The White Aura by Felicia Tatum is book 1 in The White Aura Series and it’s a fantastic book. I knew right away when I read the blurb that I was going to love and enjoy reading it. It has an awesome story line with great characters. It really had my attention from the beginning.

Olivia Whitehead is a seventeen year old high school girl. She is a normal teenager who loves to have fun and hanging out with her best friend Juniper. Life is going great! Olivia has a secret that even her best friend Ju

I received a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review (Lover of Paranormal Group on Goodreads).
I love the concept behind this novel—boy sees girl but can’t be with her, very Romeo and Juliet, but I’m afraid the execution fell a bit short for me. I realize this is paranormal fiction, and as Samuel Coleridge said the reader must willingly suspend disbelief; however, I found some of the events and explanations unacceptable. Parts of the family heritage were explained thoroughly while ot

The White Aura Felicia Tatum Review
I loved these books and her. I am looking forward to seeing more from her.
Review Time:
In the White Aura, you meet Olivia. Olivia is one of the main characters in the series. Olivia is not anything normal. She has dark red curly/ wavy hair and green eyes. Olivia is your typical teenager in High School in the beginning of the book. She goes from hanging with her best friend Juniper all the time at sleepovers to hanging out with her new friends that all seem to be

This was a really fun story. Olivia is 17, and has been having dreams of the mysterious "Mr. Sexy" for a long time, and she isn't sure whether to believe he is real or a figment of her imagination. Scott (aka Mr. Sexy) is actually a sorcerer with a number of pretty neat powers, one of which is the ability to visit Olivia (whom he believes is his heart mate) at night. Meanwhile, one of Olivia's classmates, Aiden, is taking an extra special interest in her that she isn't sure how she feels about a ...more

The cover initially drew me into this book! As soon as the author asked if I would review it for her I fell in love with the cover! The plot of this book was different! It was about sorcerers which I found interesting! The plot was fast paced and it helped my attention the whole way through! The characters were great as well! DNF after first chapter. I didn't need to read on to know what kind of book it'd be.

The book starts out with a cheesy make-out session with a few too many overly enthusiastic exclamation points. We get it, he's a great kisser. Move on. Then we realize the girl's just dreaming and she wakes up only to start criticizing her appearance. Her hair is red and her eyes are green-- how dare they be green?! Green eyes are so boring, dull, and unimpressive that she should've been born with brown eyes inst

First off i would like to Thank Felicia Tatum for giving me the opportunity to review this book for her!!!

I am by far one of the most diversified readers i know. I have certain aspects of a book that have to hit for me to like a book. This book, where its written in the POV of the characters is great. This style of writing reminds me of another author (Maggie Stiefvater), whom in my opinion is a great.

I really like this book. The story flows so nicely and contains all the elements to make a great read. The characters are lovely (especially Mr. Sexy) and well developed. I couldn't put this book down.

Scott is a sorcerer who has found his love mate. He has one problem, he can only meet with her in her dreams because of a curse that was placed on his family.

Livvie meets her "Mr. Sexy" every night in her dreams. She wonders if she is going crazy feeling such deep emotions for boy she isn't sure

First of all, I love books that go back and forth between two POV's. Each chapter went from Olivia/Livvie's POV to Scott/Mr.Sexy's POV,this gives you more insight into the characters and their feelings. The curse on Scott's family keeps him from his heart mate. The fact that he can visit her in her dreams, a loophole to the curse, is such a romantic notion. Olivia knows that she is dreaming about Mr Sexy, but isn't sure what to think about it. Is she crazy to feel so connected to someone in her ...more

I found this to be a thoroughly enjoyable read, and difficult to put down. Felicia has given enough plot twists and turns to keep you wanting more and characters to love, cheer... and hate! Even her backstory characters are well enough written that they can jump right to their own headlining pages of their own books.

Scott is a young sorcerer and his Olivia a source to be reckoned with, and I suggest quiet time and a comfy chair to discover for yourself how well her uniqueness lends to the consta

Well, that was an easy read. This was a page turner that makes me want to know more about the story. Plus I love the set of characters. Although after someone (not giving a name, duh) was painted into this really "bad" guy, I just felt attached to it. I know that there's more to it than the main character sees.
I'm guessing that the villain in this book would either be Warner Shatter Me or Sebastian City of Heavenly Fire.

Full review to come.

I read this book in 2 days and I must say, It was a pretty good book. It had an interesting storyline with twists that were new to me and characters that I really liked. I was pleased with the way the author ended the book and I am looking forward to reading The Vessel, the next book in the series.

*Though there is a romantic element to the book it's still a "safe" read for all YA readers.

I'm not the biggest YA fan most of the time, but I really did enjoy Livvie and Scott's story. I can't wait to read the next one.

Scott is a sorcerer who has found his heartmate. He is a sexy sweetheart. His family is great too, well maybe except for his one brother who seems to be a terror.

Livvie is a teenager trying to figure out all these changes, and some of them are not what they seem. I love her though. She feels real. Her parents aren't the most helpful, but I love her best friend.

I struggled with this review let me explain why:
I love the concept, and the plot but struggled with connecting with the characters. I found some contradictions in the story and I found myself getting frustrated at how things were explained when there was no purpose to it, it didn't add anything to the story or give me further insight into the character. My last whinge without spoilers was the fight felt rushed and just fell flat. Like I said I loved the story and wanted to love this b

This book was really poor... it reminded me of writing assignments from high school. The author is well intentioned and I obviously thought the plot was interesting enough to warrant a download, but the execution fell very flat.

There was no pacing, all telling and no showing... the characters all had the same voice, including the male lead (which was off putting), there was no consistency between characters (they would say one thing one moment and say the opposite the next)... and it was sooooo
