Wow, for such a short and funny little story, it sure was plenty... violent, and bloody! That last Mission:Impossible style action involving Henry Bins, a gun totting psychopath, Lassie the cat, Murdock the dog, Billy & Russmussen the two fugitive gerbils and Princess the python was hilariously awesome as well as action-packed. Loved this short story, it was very entertaining.

একটু ভেবে দেখলে মনে হয় বুঝা যাবে যে আসলে প্রাণীরা কাজ গুলো কেন করে। বিড়ালকে খুশী করতে কুকুরের সব কিছু খেয়ে ফেলাটা আমার চরম লেগেছে। Personification করে লেখক খুব সুন্দরভাবে বর্ণনা করেছেন বিষয় গুলো। It was a fun read.

Seriously? You have not read this book yet??? You have no idea how much fun you're missing. If you don't know Lassie the cat, you should rectify that situation ASAP! In fact, if you have not had the pleasure of reading a Nick Pirog book, don't let another day go by before you do! His character, Henry Buns is a remarkable creation. ENJOY!!!

ভেবেছিলাম, ছোট গল্প!! তাও বিন এর সাথে! আশা করা যায় ১দিনে শেষ করে ফেলবো...
কিন্তু আমি মাত্র ১ঘন্টায় পুরোটা পড়ে ফেলেছি।
নিক পিরোগ এবং হেনরি বরাবরেই মতই দুর্দান্ত - অবশ্য যদি এইটা ধরে নেয়া হয় যে হেনরির প্রজিডি হওয়ার মধ্যে অতিদ্রুত পড়াশোনা শেষ করার সাথে সাথে নার্সিং এবং প্রাণীদের বুঝার ও বুঝানোর ক্ষমতা আছে, তাহলে আপনি এই বইটি হাতে নিয়ে দ্রুত সময়ের মধ্যেই শেষ করতে পারবেন। নাহয়, অনেকের মত আষাঢ়ে গল্প বলেও মনে হতে পারে।
সিরিজের বাকি বইসব ও পড়ে ফেলার জন্য সময় বের করার চেষ্টা করছি...

Great series

Love this series. It's so fun and interesting. I've read them all so far, I think. Missed this one the first time, now waiting for #6. Can't wait to go on the next adventure with the whole gang. On a side note, makes me more aware of my time and how I spend it. Great read!!

Hysterical

Hysterically funny after reading Henry Bins 1-5 over the last few days. I do wonder if Henry Bins 6 or probably 7 will give some experimental truth revelations about Henry's parents and Lassie's talent for talk & translation.
I will surely be reading more Nick Pirog.

Nick Spirit is an engaging and entertaining writer. Lassie hogs the spotlight and Murdock follows close behind.. Living one hour a day could be quite daunting but Henry seems to live more than the rest of us.

I'm Henry Beans, I'm suffering from Henry Beans.
This is a great thriller book I have ever read. When I started reading this book I had a lot of curiosity because people gave it amazing reviews. I love it.
Henry Beans is a person who has been treated for a medical condition. Since the doctors found him to be the first patient of this condition, they named this condition Henry Beans. This condition remains Henry sleeps twenty three hours in a day and only one hour he is awaken And during this time he did all his stuffs. His so-called father Richard was also a great man, who is a masterpiece.
The first case in the book of three AM is about the murder of a young woman named Jesse and full of history revolves to solve this case .
Eventually it satisfied me and I enjoyed it as a great thriller book.

হেনরি বিনস সিরিজের ১.৫ তম বই। এটা হেনরি বিনস সিরিজের অন্যান্য বইগুলোর মতো না। একটা ছোট গল্প বলা যায়। পড়তে এক ঘন্টার বেশি সময় লাগবে না। হেনরি বিনসের বাবার ৬৫তম জন্মদিনে হেনরি তার বাবার কুকুর মারডককে তার কাছে রেখে তার বাবাকে লাস ভেগাসে পাঠায়। এদিকে মারডক এক কাণ্ড ঘটিয়ে ফেলে। পঁচিশটা কমলা, একটা পুরো পেপার টাওয়ালের রোল, আর হেনরির মোবাইল ফোন খেয়ে ফেলে। তাই হেনরি মারডককে নিয়ে যায় ভেটের কাছে। ভেটের কাছে গিয়ে ঘটে আরেক ঘটনা। দেখা হয় এক পাগলাটে সাপ পোষকের সাথে। আসল কাহিনী এখান থেকেই আগায়।

গল্পটা কিছুটা হাস্যরসাত্মক আর সাথে আছে অ্যাকশন। এটা পড়ে একটা জিনিস একটু অবাক লেগেছে। হেনরির অদ্ভুত হেনরি বিনস রোগের মতো বোধহয় অন্যান্য জীবজন্তুর সাথে কথা বলার ক্ষমতাও আছে। কারণ তার বিড়ালের সাথে অতিরিক্ত কথা বলাটা অস্বাভাবিক ছিলো।

I love animal books so I picked this one up on a whim and it did not disappoint. It contains 4 short stories about Henry Bins (who has Henry Bins syndrome and is only awake one hour each day from 3-4am), his cat Lassie, his father’s English mastiff Murdoch and other assorted animals. The stories are both ridiculous & funny, Henry is very likable and the animals are fabulous! I’m glad I also downloaded the other books in the series. 4 stars.

এখানে কোনো জমজমাট কাহিনী তৈরি হয় নি বটে তবে মারডক আর ল্যাসির কার্যকলাপে না হেসে পারবেন না। এই বইটার বেশিরভাগ কথোপকথন ছিল হেনরির সাথে ল্যাসির। এই অংশটুকুও বেশ মজার আর অবাক করেছে। বেড়াল হিসেবে ল্যাসির বুদ্ধিশুদ্ধি যেন খানিক বেশিই।

এক ঘন্টার বেশি লাগে না পড়তে। আমার মতো এই সিরিজের বইগুলো ���রপর পড়তে থাকলে বলব থ্রিলারের সিরিয়াসনেসের মধ্যে না হয় একটু হেসেই নিলেন।

৪৫ পৃষ্ঠার ছোট্ট একটা গল্প। জমজমাট গল্প একেবারেই নয়, খুব একটা ভালোও লাগেনি আমার।হেনরি বিনসের অন্যান্য বইগুলোর মতো এটা একেবারেই না। বইটা না পড়লেও কিছু এসে যাবে নাহ্।
হেনরি বিনসের পোষ্য বিড়াল ল্যাসি আর তার বাবার পোষ্য কুকুর মারডক কে নিয়েই এই গল্প। মারডক কে পশু চিকিৎসকের কাছে নিয়ে যাওয়ার পর থেকেই আসল ঘটনা শুরু হয়।

Love lassie

I really like the 3:00 am series aims naturally fell in love with lassie and Murdock while enjoying Henry's adventures. These four stories about the dingbats are hilarious. I was thoroughly entertained and left wanting more!! Lots of fun; quick and quirky, a great little break from the real world!

These stories about Lassie and Murdoch are ridiculous. And funny. But ultimately, I'd just suggest you read the 3 AM series (5 stars from me) and finish with a smile. These stories jump the shark (though surprisingly, there is no actual shark - just pandas and elephants and strippers and gerbils).
