The first two books I read focused on analyzing the characteristics and influence of the Qin system (or Qin imperial rule); this one has a greater concern for the present, even describing how the path forward should be taken. Some sections reveal an underlying tone of opposing Marx and Engels while waving their banner, which creates a certain contrastive beauty (or ironic aesthetic).
The right path is not necessarily between left and right; the common bottom line of correspondence between rights and responsibilities is the real issue.
