Anchor (Wake #3)
Now I know soulmates exist.
Nothing has ever been easy for us.
Every fight, every struggle, has been worth it.
I’m stubborn, but what woman isn’t?
She’s hard work and I love the overtime.
He’s frustrating and unpredictable. I hope he never changes.
I love driving her crazy. That’s half the fun.

If you've read Bait and Sail, you already know the how tough of a journey Blake and Casey have had to endure trying so desperately to get their happily ever after. It was almost torture at times having to read the missed chances, the times apart, the wrong decisions each of them made through the years since they first laid eyes upon each other. And then we h ...more
I could not wait for the final book in the Wake Series. M. Mabie had me hooked with Bait, in love with Sail and I was anxiously waiting to be reunited with my favorite couple in Anchor. When Anchor appeared on my kindle, I dropped everything and dove right in. I knew from the cover that I was in for an emotional ride. ps... The cover gave me the chills!!!
HOLY BOOK HIGH!!! I'm on cloud 9 right now and I never want to get off!
BAM!! NAILED IT! HOMERUN!
We pick up right where Sail leaves off. Casey ...more
He could heal me, distract me. Replace hurt with desire. Fear with ecstasy. Hate with love. Greedily, I just couldn't resist him.
Anchor provides soothing to my anxious soul. Bait shattered me, Sail calmed me down and Anchor is the salve to my open wounds. It begins just after Grant has done his worst and attacked Blake. Casey is devoted to making sure she heals both physically and mentally and will do anything to make sure this happens. Although make no mistake, Grant still ha ...more
I HEART CASEY. For the entire series that was my mantra, he made the series for me from the very beginning. As for Blake, watching her mature and become the honeybee deserving of my Casey was an incredible, frustrating, throw your fucking kindle experience that I enjoyed very much. This finale was calm, filled with love and complete. Smooth saili ...more
This book just absolutely blew my mind in the best possible way. Book 3 of series is usually the book I wish I would have skipped. In most of my FAV. series- book 3 almost killed it for me. I went into Anchor- praying for the best-expecting to be let down like I have in most cases.
BUT this time- the author actually proved to me where assuming gets you. This story was flawless. It was EVERYTHING I would have wanted for Casey and Blake and redemption for *things* that I knew could N ...more
Several months later, she followed it up with Sail, and I could almost see where Blake and Casey's salvation was...I could almost smell it.
I "patiently" waited for Anchor...and only asked a few times if it would be released "tomorrow" (I was definitely worse with Sail). Maybe because I was worried about what she would do...what trials would Blake and Casey have to go thru to ...more
"Honeybee, all of you belongs to me. Always has. These lips are mine. That bright pink nose. Your mistakes. You smiles. This body. Your heart. Your future. All mine."
Mother e'fing swoon!
Bait broke me, Sail healed me but Anchor made me believe in the promise of true love and soulmates.
Casey and Blake's story comes full circle in the Anchor. It had all the same feels and emotions that M. Mabie is famous for. The banter was light and funny and Betty and Lou were on point.
Casey and Blake struggled ...more
We first met Casey and Honeybee in Bait and we followed their desire, their intensity and their stuggle to fight what was in their hearts into Sail.
Their discovery, their overwhelming love and Casey’s adoration for Honeybee sails right into Anchor and here, right here is where Mo shines best…

Anchor was a wonderful conclusion to The Wake Series novels. It tied up loose ends and focused on the characters working to achieve their "happy endings."
Anchor, picks up immediately where Sail ended and we find Blake recovering from the Grant incident. While Blake recovers, Casey has grown close to Blake's family. They didn't get to meet under the best circumstances, but his devotion and love for Blake has give the

Wow. What an ending to an angsty yet sweet love story. I’m bowled over by the last book. It was beautiful, highly emotional and of the three books, my favorite.
Casey once again stole my heart with his enduring love and adoration for his Honeybee. He was true to his words, they were simply stated, his faith in his love for Blake was unwavering and the perfection of their love was without a doubt beautiful t ...more
Every fight, every struggle, has been worth it.
What a perfect ending for an angst filled series. It had all the feels. Blake and Casey have been through so much in their relationship since the very beginning. This is not a standalone. You have to read Bait and Sail before you can read Anchor.
Anchor starts off right where Sail left off. Casey is there for Blake during her healing process. She is his honeybee and he’ll do anything and everything for her. They bot ...more
This is the third and final book in The Wake series which has been an epic and emotional rollercoaster for real from start to finish and I have loved every moment of it. The series definitely needs to be read in order and the first books are Bait and Sail.
After all the angst, frustration and agonising, Casey and Blake are finally together and setting up their lives as it always should have been. There is the small issue of Blake’s ex, ...more
I could say reading Anchor is like having one last weekend, with all the people you love and adore, having the best and most memorable times of your life. I could also say reading this book is like eating a whole jar of Nutella, because it just keeps getting better and better the more you have it, and once you start it, you definitely have to devour the entire glorious thing until you’re practically licking it. I could even say read ...more
Holy book hangover.... Thanks for that M.Mabie. You totally owe me a box of tissues and a block of chocolate.
This book had my emotions going 100 miles per hour. Happy, Sad and EVERYTHING in between - I nearly died from all the feels.
Casey and Blake's story was such a beautiful one and I have an epic love for them.
This was a perfect end to this lovely series!
M. Mabie, will you be my BFF? #Serious
I have read everyone of these books and they are all the same, perfect, connection, heated moments, realistic along with ups and downs. I truly love this authors way of writing. I can't wait for her to write another one and I have a feeling it will be about Audrey and Troy. Although, I hope she writes something totally new with the same genre.
In Bait Mo managed to make me scream and cheer and everything in between. In Anchor though, I just smiled. I teared up, I laughed - hard, I MELTED! I love their look on life together. As long as they're together they're going to be ok. They persevered through a monumental pile of chit to get to the point where they're at and they do it through humor, love and living. They celebrated the li ...more
And let me tell you, M. Mabie just nailed it! As always, she never disappoints. I was hooked (pun intended) from the beginning.
Anchor was the most perfect conclusion to this amazing, heartbreaking, passionate love story. In this third book, we can see how much they grew after everything theyve been though (if you dont know what Im ta ...more

One thing that peaked my interest was we got a short chapter with Reggie's POV, and Audrey's POV....which I liked very much because I'm curious about him and her so I'm hoping there's more story for them (which I admit I will gladly read).
She cares about politics, but will not discuss them in public. She uses the same fork at every meal, watches Wayne's World while cleaning, an ...more
