This book is like one big epilogue. After the enormous amount of angst in Bait, and some drama in Sail, we finally have Casey and Blake's happily ever after. The cover says it all so I don't think I will spoil much if I say that this 3rd installment revolves around their wedding. After all bad that happened to them and between them, after all the hurt and pain they inflicted on each other, after finally waking up and having to fight for the future together, Casey and Blake get their well deserve

You can definitely tell this is the last book and it was everything sweet and romantic that you would hope it would be.
Blake and Casey are moving forward with their lives and taking the next step...or two. The bumblebee box was sooo bittersweet and made me tear up a bit! And how their "parties" came together...that was pretty genius and hot! The event in Oregon was amazing...I loved the empty chair and that Dr. Rex was there. Everything just came together.

I literally just finished Anchor and holy hell did Mo Mabie nail it. Like completely knocked it out of the park brilliance. It is THAT good.
If you've read Bait and Sail, you already know the how tough of a journey Blake and Casey have had to endure trying so desperately to get their happily ever after. It was almost torture at times having to read the missed chances, the times apart, the wrong decisions each of them made through the years since they first laid eyes upon each other. I could not wait for the final book in the Wake Series. M. Mabie had me hooked with Bait, in love with Sail and I was anxiously waiting to be reunited with my favorite couple in Anchor. When Anchor appeared on my kindle, I dropped everything and dove right in. I knew from the cover that I was in for an emotional ride. ps... The cover gave me the chills!!!
HOLY BOOK HIGH!!! I'm on cloud 9 right now and I never want to get off!

He could heal me, distract me. Replace hurt with desire. Fear with ecstasy. Hate with love. Greedily, I just couldn't resist him.
Anchor provides soothing to my anxious soul. Bait shattered me, Sail calmed me down and Anchor is the salve to my open wounds. It begins just after Grant has done his worst and attacked Blake. Casey is devoted to making sure she heals both physically and mentally and will do anything to make sure this happens. Although make no mistake, Grant still ha ...more

Wow...
Just WOW.
This book just absolutely blew my mind in the best possible way. Book 3 of series is usually the book I wish I would have skipped. In most of my FAV. series- book 3 almost killed it for me. I went into Anchor- praying for the best-expecting to be let down like I have in most cases.
BUT this time- the author actually proved to me where assuming gets you. This story was flawless. It was EVERYTHING I would have wanted for Casey and Blake and redemption for *things* that I knew could N ...more

In October of 2014, I read the book Bait. I joined the support group, I bitched about Mo and all the pain she put us thru.
Several months later, she followed it up with Sail, and I could almost see where Blake and Casey's salvation was...I could almost smell it.
I "patiently" waited for Anchor...and only asked a few times if it would be released "tomorrow" (I was definitely worse with Sail). Maybe because I was worried about what she would do...what trials would Blake and Casey have to go thru to ...more

"Love doesn't give a fuck about a piece of paper. When are you going to realize that this isn't just love? There isn't even a word for this."
So, if you read my review of SAIL, you would know that I freaked out and messaged the author asking WHY?? WHAT?? How was there another book??? I got my HEA in SAIL, but was surely convinced that I was missing something. So, I eagerly anticipated this book....I was SO excited it was coming out and I couldn't WAIT to read it!!!

"Honeybee, all of you belongs to me. Always has. These lips are mine. That bright pink nose. Your mistakes. You smiles. This body. Your heart. Your future. All mine."
Mother e'fing swoon!
Bait broke me, Sail healed me but Anchor made me believe in the promise of true love and soulmates.
Casey and Blake's story comes full circle in the Anchor. It had all the same feels and emotions that M. Mabie is famous for. The banter was light and funny and Betty and Lou were on point.

Throughout the whole series I'd like to say that Casey and Blake grew up and finally made it happen. There were times that I felt Blake was a bitch but sometimes too damn naive. Overall though, this last book really was short not too overly dragged out with lots of dramas and a sweet and happy ending that I loved which was all in Casey's POV.

Love is not easy...to have or to write about, but Mo Mabie has done it with simplistic passion. Her characters are ordinary people with extraordinary battles to overcome. We all know love is extraordinary.
We first met Casey and Honeybee in Bait and we followed their desire, their intensity and their stuggle to fight what was in their hearts into Sail.
Their discovery, their overwhelming love and Casey’s adoration for Honeybee sails right into Anchor and here, right here is where Mo shines best…

How do I even begin to describe my love for Anchor by M. Mabie?
I could say reading Anchor is like having one last weekend, with all the people you love and adore, having the best and most memorable times of your life. I could also say reading this book is like eating a whole jar of Nutella, because it just keeps getting better and better the more you have it, and once you start it, you definitely have to devour the entire glorious thing until you’re practically licking it. Anchor was a wonderful conclusion to The Wake Series novels. It tied up loose ends and focused on the characters working to achieve their "happy endings."
Anchor, picks up immediately where Sail ended and we find Blake recovering from the Grant incident. While Blake recovers, Casey has grown close to Blake's family. They didn't get to meet under the best circumstances, but his devotion and love for Blake has g

Once again M.Mabie has done a fantastic job for giving me the feels with her books. Anchor, blew me outta the water! I've loved Blake and Casey from the beginning, even though there were times I wanted to throat punch Blake over and over. These two have been to hell and back and to see them finally together and happy, it's a wonderful thing. I was blushing at my husband in the middle of the book and a blubbering mess by the end.
