This issue is a summary of when I'm having a flu.

First day, flu just kicked in.

Few days later, the world is so cold!

Flu gone bad, can't do nothing but sleep.
Holly Letson
I wanted to love this, but just couldn't. The art was alright, I suppose, but the story was boring and hard to get through. Maybe I'll read a few more issues later, but not anytime soon.

My head feels hot. Maybe I should stick it out of the window? [...] Why did I never notice that wood pigeons speak English before?

Me whenever I'm sick, a summary.

Not too shabby. Definitely better than the first issue. More consistent, no choppy jumps that took you out of the story. And rather than an info dump, we got to see the interactions and the characters develop.

Good stuff.

Read in Giant Days, Vol. 1.

Chapter 2 - Susan, Esther, and Daisy get the flu.

Fun, sassy, humorous, and real.

Esther tempts fate and the gang gets the flu. Comedy abounds as they each deal with it in their own way. Love how the characters are developing.

This issue was hilarious! A bit more depth into the characters, it was funny seeing how each of them deals with a nasty cold. Reminds me of good old times while on university, away from home and learning how to go through those things by yourself. 5 stars issue.

This was kind of like a 'washing machine manual'.. the kind that sneakily finds its way into the machine mid cycle and turns into a soggy sodding pile of garbage. Flu-infested and, to be frank, irrelevant.

Beginning to love the banter between Esther and Susan. Also love the Flu saga, I hate Flu.

Excellent

Personally, I prefer Esther's characterization from Scary Go Round, but there is no question that John Allison has perfectly represented life on campus.

Still enjoying the humor so far. Hope it's not just a story about a boy. Love the characters and the artwork.

Okay this issue definitely shows more potential than the first one like I was trying so hard not to laugh during class. I don't know what was up with the first issue, but I guess it didn't click for me right away. Still, I'm at a level of interest where I'm not sure if this is something I want to binge read or just read when I'm bored.
