Del has always had a nose for a beautiful scent. She and her twin sister decided they wanted to open a perfumery in New York together. The shop had been chosen, and everything was running smoothly, until at last-minute her sister fell in love and ditched the idea, leaving Del unable to afford the shop on her own.

Del then finds out about a perfume competition that would give her enough funds to open her own shop, running in Paris, she applies an

The story is about two people finding their way back to magic, the magic of perfume making, their love for the ingredients and their confidence. Believe in yourself and love what you do is the theme which underruns this story.

Del enters a perfume making contest held by the Leclere Parfumerie and if she wins, it would open the skies for her and her dreams of having her own brand in New York. Sebastian the owner of Leclere Parfumerie is going through his own stresses of managing such a huge empire

I feel like I have been waiting for this book to be released forever. Thankfully within minutes of delving into it, I can safely say it was worth the wait. I absolutely loved everything to do with this book and it is clear the author must love perfume, with the way it was described , the scents, and what sensations they can evoke in a person.

It is also the story of how you need to be brave to follow your dreams even if it means spending time apart from your twin sister. It is a story of regaini

I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Combine Paris, Romance and Perfume along with a competition and you have a n utterly charming read. I fell in love with this story when Del landed in Paris, literally bumped into a handsome stranger and from there the adventure began. I especially loved Sebastien with his good looks and charm he is a perfect male specimen. Del is on a mission to break away

A delightfully romantic tale. I loved how the author described Paris. It was a magical trip delighting senses in every sense of the word. Del and her twin sister have a dream to open their own perfume shop in New York. For the love of a man her sister leaves her dream behind leaving Del holding the bag when she doesn't have the financial backing to open the shop on her own. Armed with her grandmother's notebook of scent formulas and notes she goes off to the city of love, Paris to compete in a p ...more

I picked this book up because of the perfume in the title and the idea of perfume competition, and I expected a lot because of that. Perfumes are subjective and the perfumes described in the book are a little too bland for me. The scents are all squeaky clean and almost sterile. How can a perfume that evokes love be without passion? Also since the book is set in France, I thought I would get a whiff of classic French perfumery. The h of the book described her all consuming passion for frag

THE LITTLE PERFUME SHOP OFF THE CHAMPS-ÈLYSÈES by Rebecca Raisin is a stunning romance that will melt your heart while taking you on a magical trip through stunning Paris, delighting your senses every step of the way.

Del has arrived in Paris to take part in a perfume competition that could change her life, even if it has changed a lot recently with her twin sister changing her mind on their plans and falling in love. And as the competition heats up, Del will have to push her skills that she lea

I am loving The little Paris collection. This is book three of the collection and it is a wonderful addition to this series of books. If you haven’t read books 1 and 2 don’t worry, because each of these books can be read as a stand alone. As they feature different characters. But the thing connect them all is Paris.

In this book we meet Del. Who thought that she had her whole life planned out. Del and her sister were going to open their own Perfume shop in New York. That was until her sister pul

This is another deep loving novel wrote by Rebecca Raisin, she fully immerses you in each story and this is no exception. You understand the basis of her skills by making perfume and so if you are into this kind of thing, it will get you wanting to start such a hobby.
I could have read more of this, i would have liked to see more characters with a storyline but maybe thats an option for her next sequel... maybe????

Wow what a truly delightful read, a real gem of a story, filled with romance, friendship, loss, new beginnings, hope, challenges, not to mention the enticing fragrances/perfumes that are mentioned throughout, all told in such a wonderful and heartfelt well.

The author Rebecca really does know how to tell a story and for it to come alive, right out of the pages. I loved every bit of it from beginning to end.

What a lovely light and uplifting book. I loved the characters, I loved how Del could only be herself and how she grew over the challenge, how she didn't play games to try to win and how she pushed herself to live outside of her comfort zone. I loved Lex And Lila both down to earth real people following their hopes and dreams as Del was doing. I even liked the less likeable characters, they all played their part in shaping the story. I am not a perfume wearer at all, and I've never really given ...more

This was a quick and easy to read book. Ideal for holidays, especially to Paris.
There are some places that I recognised.
A feel good read.
Thanks to Netgalley, Rebecca Raisin and the publishers HQ Digital for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I found the story enjoyable and romantic. I read it in less than a day, not only because it’s not too long (a little more than 200 pages), but because I was engrossed in the plot. What I liked most about this novel is the character of Del. The author presents her through many fronts. She is devoted to her family, she is still grieving over her grandmother’s death and she constantly misses her twin sister Jen, her other half, especially since she is now busy with her boyfriend. She is competitive ...more

What an uplifting book. A lovely feel-good story.

I absolutely adored this book. It’s made me want to change my job and move to Paris. I would love to be a perfumer, I could almost smell all those ingredients! My first by this author, but definitely not the last.

Del arrives in Paris in clumsy accident-prone style. She keeps bumping, literally, into the same handsome guy. The chemistry between them is very sweet. Is a love affair just about to begin?

Once again the author has written something which will take the reader right to the heart of one of the most romantic cities in the world.

I am a huge fan of this author, and her books always go to the very top of my to read list. I dived straight in as soon as I received this book, and only put it down because I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. The story in this book is different to the others in the series, yet the author still manages to show her love of books within the storyline. Not

I really liked the look into the world of perfumery. The emotions and experiences that were described through certain scents were lovely. I would have liked a bit more description of ingredients and scents to really feel absorbed into the story.

The romance didn't take over the story, which was really nice because it allowed the other themes to be the focus. Del was confused about her future and had to figure out how to follow her dreams. She also had to gain a lot of confidence and believe in he

I enjoyed this book and read it one day. But it could have had a better editor. Missing words in sentences, words transposed, etc. that I found distracting. And an American would never use the word homely to describe a room in France. It is strictly a British term as homely means something entirely different in the US. If your main character is an American, you should research us and what words we use.

A lovely and relaxing read with the regular trappings of the genre. I wanted an east time an a happy ending, and the book delivered.

However, if you have a decent grasp of French grammar and pronunciation, many of the place names and food names look like they havent been put together correctly, with accents and endings distracting from the flow of the book.

A waste of time and money! Really dull writing!
Leclére Perfumery in Paris is hosting a competition: win the competition and get a cash prize, six months in Paris, a line of your own scents and plenty of opportunities to work with mentors and perfumers. This is just the boost that Del needs, especially after her twin sister Jen bailed on their plan to move from their sleepy Michigan town to New York to open a small boutique scent shop. Growing up, Del had worked tirelessly with her Nan, learning how to recognize and blend scent: and now, feel ...more

When I knew this novel from Rebecca Raisin was being released I was so excited to be able to get hold of a copy. I absolutely adored Rebecca’s previous novels, she has a way of writing romance novels that just get inside and warm my heart.

From the beginning I loved Del, in many ways she reminded me of me, she was searching for a new start and also for her way in life. When she arrives in Paris she has no clue, she is scared, she speaks no french and when she meets a beautiful man she falls for h

Initially I thought I was going to really dislike this book as it does take a while to really suck you in. Once I was around 50 pages in I found that I was becoming more and more absorbed by Del's story and was racing through the pages. Although this is basically a love story, and a rather cliched obvious one the setting is evoked well (I now feel I've been to Paris) and the background of the competition works well - although, it's obvious that Del will get to the Grand Finale or else there woul ...more

I do not remember reading the synopsis of this book and it was a good risk to take. After reading the first chapter I knew straight away that I was going to enjoy this book very much.

Del enters a perfume competition which is a make or break opportunity for her to pursue, her dream of opening her own perfume shop in New York. Coming up to the age of 30, this is the first time Del has done something without her twin sister Jen. This is only time Del can have to chance to live her dreams on her ow

I've really enjoyed all this series, and this was no exception, a very easy-reading story set around a perfume competition in Paris.

Del is from America and one of the contestants, along with a group of other people, all great personalities. I really loved Lex and Lila the best, and Clementine was an absolute nightmare!

Del is a twin and her and her sister, Jen, had planned on opening a perfume shop in New York, but plans change when Jen fell in love and it turned out she was only going along with

So sweet and beautiful!
This is the first book I read by Rebecca Raisin and I’ve got to say I regret not reading the previous ones, from The Little Paris Collection. Not because it affects the reading of this book but because I really enjoyed it and I want, I need, more
In The Little Perfume Shop off the Champs-Élysées we find a story that is sweet but also deep and complex. A story about dreams, about not giving up on them and about following your heart.
I love all things French, so reading a book

This is definitely my favorite of the Little Paris series of books. Once again, the book is told entire from the heroine's POV, so we're not sure what the hero is thinking (although most of the time it seems pretty obvious). Del -- the heroine -- is in Paris to compete in a perfume contest at a renowned house of perfume in Paris (and no, it's not a reality TV show). The head of the French business has recently died and his ex-wife and son (Sebastien, our hero) are running the contest.

Don’t always judge a book by its cover

I hesitated ordering The Little Perfume Shop Off The Champs-Elysees because it’s cover suggested “fluff” within, and I usually avoid that sort of read. But something compelled me to click on “buy” and there it was, ready to read. And what a lovely surprise!

Paris and Provence are two of my favorite places in the world, and the storyline, locations and characters had me from the first few pages. I’m not even a perfume fan, but the obvious research that went in
