What a mixed bag! A few good stories, one great one, and many that are truly terrible.

Oh, and the electronic version of the book needed a proofreader. A human one, to get rid of the similar-sounding words in the place of the ones intended.

Henderson's name should be removed as author of this book, and the real editor's name put there instead. That way I could forever avoid that person's anthology work from now on. A few of these stories are just unforgivably bad.

I love short story collections and this was no different. I love the whole Lovecraftian setting, but don't always want the bleak ending, and if you are like me than grab this collection for your e-reader. Not every story is a knockout but I promise that if you come to it like I did, only knowing two authors out of the bunch, you will come away with more new authors to read.
