Sofia Flores has had a crush on Jackson Coles for as long as she can remember. And she’s hardly the only one. After all, Jackson is one of the most famous movie stars in the entire world. Sofie never imagined she’d get any closer to her fantasy crush than admiring him on the big screen. Real life just doesn’t work that way. But everything changes when her cousin Lizzie marries Jackson’s co-star, Thomas. Suddenly, Sofie finds herself actually meeting Jackson Coles, up close and personal. It’s every fan girl’s dream come true. And to Sofie’s shock, Jackson seems just as excited to spend time with her. Despite Jackson’s attentions, Sofie knows that real life is rarely like the movies. Real life means struggling as a single mother, running out of money, and dealing with a loving but frustratingly obtrusive family. Not to mention the heaps of Baby Daddy Drama that continue to plague her…and threaten to take away the very thing she holds most dear in life. There’s simply no room in her life to go chasing after a movie star, even one as gorgeous as Jackson Coles. But when Jackson shows that he’s more than willing to do the chasing, Sofie has a big decision to make. Will she play it safe? Or will she risk everything for the perfect Hollywood happily ever after?

I enjoyed this story better than the others in the series. I didn't like that the language seemed a worse-maybe the whole showing the difference between Lizzie and Sofie? I did like the story and seeing Jackson in a better light. I also like the update on the characters and the intro of new characters. We still don't know Sam's story, I wonder if there will be another book?

A book that shows you it's okay to follow your heart and that you shouldn't keep stuff from your family. I do miss Lizzie and Thomas from the first three books but getting to know Sophie in this book was fun. Can't wait til the fifth book comes out.

Great story. Writing is excellent. Can’t wait to read the next in the series.

Rachel Schurig has become one of my favorite authors. Love the way she creates the story line so much you can’t stop reading until you finish the book.

I really wanted to like this but unfortunately could not get into it. I didn’t realise the entire book was in Sophie’s POV. Jackson’s POV was definitely needed to enjoy their relationship and interactions. He didn’t seem ‘real’ and reading about Sophie’s endless self doubt was tiring.

This story is a continuation of Jackson and Sofia. I am so happy that they got their own book!!! Sofia is a young lady that has had to live with her mistake of a one night stand with Jim, someone that she did not know very well at all. Sofia has done an excellent job at taking care of Sofia but when it is time for her to go back to work from maternity leave, she is not sure what she wants to do. Sofia knows that she has to work to provide for Beth, but she has mixed emotions about leaving Beth with her mom. Sofia does not want to take advantage of her mother since she is already living with her parents'. When Jackson suddenly shows up at Sofia's front door, she has no clue what an opportunity has just knocked on her door.

Jackson is a very famous movie star and has everything that he could possibly want. He does not understand why Sofia can not grasp the idea that someone like Jackson could want to spend time with her or even like her. Jackson longs for the normal life that he never gets to experience. Jackson offers Sofia a job opportunity that she can not pass up, but in doing so, she makes Beth's father really mad. Jim does not like the idea of being turned down for a movie star. He thinks it will hurt his image.

Sofia and Jackson keep things profession for as long as they can and eventually have to give into their feelings for each other. Jackson handles himself really well with Sofia and even falls in love with Beth. Jackson tells Sofia that he will wait for her as long as he needs to for her to make her decision. Jackson goes above and beyond to show Sofia how much she means to him.

When Jim threatens Sofia with a custody battle for Beth, she pushes Jackson away thinking that she has to do what is best for Beth. She does not want Jim to have any interaction with their daughter because of this violent tendency. Jackson has no idea what has made Sofia push him away until her cousin and his best friend call him and fill him in on what Jim has threatened. Jackson once again goes out of his way to help Sofia and she realizes than that Jackson is the one that has had her heart all along. She gives into their feelings for each other.

This story has a very HEA and I am so glad because Sofia and Beth deserve much more than Jim could have ever given them. Jackson is such a loving man and is so patient in waiting for Sofia that it makes you swoon for him. Thanks Rachel for writing Jackson and Sofia's story!! I am so glad that we got more of them!!

I received an ARC in exchange for an HONEST review.

I've really liked all of Rachel Schurig's books, but there might've been one or two I didn't give 5 stars. This one definitely deserves it. The more I feel like I really understand a character and their thought processes, the more I like a book. Starstruck was probably my favorite book she's written. What was extra good about it was that I got all I needed to understand Sofie from just this one. I wouldn't have had to read the rest of the series to understand who she was. There were real-life issues mixed with the dream-come-true stuff and I loved it all. I am totally convinced that Ms. Schurig has been in love with a movie star and has been pampered in spas, eaten at the best restaurants, flown on private jets, and walked red carpets because she describes it so darn well. I know a book is great if my husband gets snapped at because I'm at 85% and he has the nerve to expect me to hear anything he says. He's learning, though. Loved this book!

I have really enjoyed this series, mostly featuring British Thomas, the budding movie star, and his "ordinary" Midwestern Hispanic girlfriend Lizzie. However, this book, the last in the Lovestruck series, focused not on them, but on Lizzie's cousin, Sophia (Sophie) and Thomas' movie co-star, Jackson Coles. Sophie was an important, but secondary, character in the Lovestruck series. Jackson played a small part in those books as well. I wasn't sure if this book could hold its own against the sweet romance of Thomas and Lizzie. I was wrong. I enjoyed Sophia and Jackson's story as much, or perhaps even more! It's as if Schurig has come into her own, as she wrote this story. I, for one, would love to see a Lovestruck Book 5 down the road, featuring both Sophie and Jackson, as well as Lizzie and Thomas.

I love going into Rachel's books already knowing the characters. They have all tied into one another. This book is about Sofie and Jackson. Jackson is a mega superstar actor. Sofie is a single mother struggling about wanting her independence. Jackson and Sofie hooked up when Sofie was pregnant and Jackson was there yet again when Sofie went into labor. Now Jackson needs a PA and Sofie needs a job to get her out of her parents home for good. Sparks start flying while trying to keep things professional. I don't want to give away anything but it is worth the read just like all of Rachel Schurig's books!

I was given an ARC by the author this weekend in exchange for an honest review. I have a confession to make. I was sent a copy this weekend and have already read it twice. I'll probably start the third time before bed. It was the best book I have read in the past few months. I love the entire Lovestruck series, and other than the first one, this was probably my favorite. Sofie and Jackson just fit together so perfectly, and Jackson is so much more of a substantial character than I ever thought he could be. I really do hope we get to see Sam's story next. I can't get enough of this series!

It was fun to have a whole book devoted to Lizzie's cousin Sofie and her love Jackson. I have a feeling there may be more books in this series (no cliffhangers but enough to make the reader want to know what happens next). I've read the entire Lovestruck series in a row and enjoyed all of the books and short stories. Between the Latina women and their extended middle-class families from Detroit and the movie star men with lots of money from England there was plenty of Cinderella to keep any starstruck wannabe happy!

Ms. Schurig's books keep getting better and better. Sofie and Jackson's story is well written and I am glad that their story made it into a book. The bits of their life that we had seen in the previous stories made we want to read more about them and I am very happy with how it turned out. Well worth reading.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my review, but I would have purchased it anyway.

LOVED this! I thought it would be hard to top my love of Thomas and Lizzie, but Jackson and Sofie may have did just that. I can't wait for another book about this couple. And the update on Lizzie and Thomas at the end...YAY! I received an ARC of this, but I would have purchased this book. I highly recommend not only this series but also every book by Rachel Schurig!

Rachel Schurig's Sofie and the Movie Star and Lovestruck #4. The Lovestruck series continues with Sophie's story. As Sofie prepares for motherhood, her life is turned upside down when she meets Jackson. A fly-by-night romance turns this starstruck into a lovestruck match. Will their love survive or will Sofie get stuck in her past mistakes?

Really enjoyed this novel, which delves into the lives of the cousin and co-star of characters from the other novels. There is some language, but it is in keeping with the character here (as opposed to previous novels, where it felt forced).

I have to admit this was somewhat predictable. I saw lots of things coming. However their where plenty things I wasn't see as well and that keep this balanced out for me. I somethings I figured would happen that didn't I was grateful for them not. I enjoyed this ready.
