Book 4 of the MC Series continues with Pres.
Pres has never been on shakier ground. Can he keep his Club, Kate and Danny happy?
Ben lives for his Club and community with the vision of a better world, but he does it alone. His life derails when Danny asks him to become a partner with him and Kate. Pres has never been on shakier ground.
A drunken New Year's party started this unlikely trio. Danny believes Ben is the yin to his yang and puts Ben in front of his Kate every chance he gets. He'll give Kate whatever she wants and finally, she wants Ben. A house full of kids, a Club that's always watching and a President that loses his shit is a lot for one man to choreograph. He has to teach Ben what 'all in' means before Kate's deadline. It's a race he plans on winning. If he could just get Pres to fall in line.

L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.
The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly.
That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.
L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.
With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud.
Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet

OMG. I loved this book. This author really knows this genre and she can't write these books fast enough for me. She has created such strong characters and you are drawn into this world and you really care about them. This book was a difficult subject as it is bringing another man into a solid marriage as part of the marriage and relationship. This is the first book I have ever read that had this subject, so this was new territory for me.

This was a great read from start to finish. I highly recommend this book.

Even though the writing style of this book was more "diaryish" , and there was some repetition from Laponte-Karr book but that's ok it was still a good one. It was great to get all the background on how Kate, Danny and Ben came to be. Ben had me lmao at times and yelling at him at others (in my head of course...lol). Danny and Ben really were two halves that made a whole for Kate. With that many kids you need all of them plus - that saying "it takes a village" is true in this series. I can't believe what a f**k up Tracey turned out to be - guess she won't be a problem anymore. The whole scenario with Steve's picture and all that took place because of it had me in stiches. Looking forward to learning more about Cloud.

This is Ben’s story. The president of the MC has entered into a polyamorous relationship with one of his brothers and his wife. Along the way, Ben tries to find his way in the relationship and with his brothers in the MC as he screws up many times. Fitting into an established family is never easy, and the author explores this with feeling. L Ann Marie takes serious subjects and shines a light on them in every book of the MC, and MC Pres is no different. Five shiny bikes for great storytelling.

I am not rating this one because while the writing was improved in this one as well as the story and plot delivery, even skimming the romance part, it just wasn’t good for me because of the romance part. I actually really disliked the romance part so to rate on the story, writing, etc. alone it would be 4 stars, the romance/relationship maybe 1 star. So I don’t think it’s really fair to give it a rating since the majority of the book was not a 4 star read for me but it also isn’t fair to rate it low either because I pretty much knew going in there was a chance I would hate the romance. I have to give the author credit though she almost pulled it off for me which is more than I can say for a big name author who lost lots of readers over this scenario in another series. But unfortunately it still didn’t work for me…

I was pretty sure I wouldn’t like where this one went with Ben, Danny and Kate but for a while I was thinking it might not be too bad but I was right I didn’t like it or believe it for that matter. I mean when Danny said he wouldn’t bring a woman into their relationship because of the promise he made to Kate, um sorry she made the same promise to Danny in her vows when she married Danny and Danny alone. I didn’t really care for Kate in their first book because she just rubbed me the wrong way but I really didn’t like her in this one. I wanted more for Ben, like a woman who was dedicated to him and only him especially after what he went through with Tracy so this was a disappointment for me. By the end I wanted Danny with someone who would never put him through all this just because she needed more than him or supposedly fell in love with someone else while married to him…and I really wanted to see Ben with anyone but Kate because I felt he deserved more.

The whole fight blow up when Ben comes back after being gone for a week is when I really saw what I was feeling the whole time. They couldn’t even figure out a way around “kid’s day” to welcome him home or at least act like they gave a shit he was back home. That is part of the reason why I get tired of too many kids in romance novels because they aren’t romantic. At. All. I also never like adding a permanent third to an established marriage of years for a lot of reasons but this scene sealed the deal of me hating it with these characters, nothing would bring it back for me after this happened. Ben may have acted badly but I can see why he felt that way and would love to have seen him bail right then. I actually felt really bad for him, no matter how poorly he reacted.

Kate had it right when she said “I wonder what you’re doing with a crazy greedy bitch like me” I was wondering the same damn thing the whole time. She didn’t deserve Danny and she sure as hell didn’t deserve Ben, much less both of them. I never saw any real love for Ben (just a need to get her freak on, after all she thanked him for almost every freaking orgasm) and it completely ruined what she supposedly had with Danny for me. All those tingles she got from him and only him in their book must have been nerve damage I guess.

By the end of this one I had an immense dislike for a lot of characters that I loved in the previous books due to the way they behaved in this one, especially towards Ben. I will stick with my instincts next time and skip one that I am pretty sure will just piss me right off and play catch up with the next in the series. After all not a lot happened in this one since it followed the same timeline pretty much as Rich, Patches, and Tess’ book so skipping it would have been fine. I really wanted to find out more about what Tracy’s deal was and I took it from the blurb that there would be something about that in this one which was the main reason I read it. But other than one stupid stunt from her nothing was really fleshed out about the cause of what seemed like an abrupt change in her character, there wasn’t even any reason given of her motivation for the stunt she pulled in this one. I guess I was also hoping to get more about Ben and what he had been through but I didn’t get any of that or a warm fuzzy feeling about his HEA either.

I first started by reading MC: Knight and then realised that I wanted the whole story and that started with the Baxter's .. although the first books didn't have a lot of crossovers they did set the scene for what is to come in the other books as the stories move along so their importance to the series' as a whole cannot be overstated

I have just read the 22 books to date back to back in the order published on the author's website and decided to review them as a whole. I really don't think they stand well as stand alones as there are too many common threads, too much history and too much character crossover for that so it really is one (very) long story over a very long period of time with each series concentrating on a particular character group but including all of the others (except for the initial Baxter books which didn't have a lot of MC action but did set the scene for a lot of what is to come).

I loved every book although of course some more than others but i am giving an overall five star rating. My biggest issue was that sometimes (often) i found it difficult to be sure exactly who was talking and had to reread sections to try to work it out. I think that perhaps what the author is seeing in her head moves a bit too fast to translate well to the written word for some of us (something like the thoughts of some of her characters - you need to read the stories to understand my thought process here!!)

My other issue was keeping my head straight with the cast of thousands (and this is not an exaggeration) ... with each story building on to what has come before and what will come to be and with most characters continuing to play a place in each consecutive story I found myself constantly stopping to think - now who was that, whose child is that, whose partner is that???? but even amongst that confusion I loved the relationships and the strengths they provided.

The author has an amazing imagination and has brought to the table a fantastic story that i will continue to read and at some point will def read again. I have always loved and had an interest in native american philosophy and also in paranormal and psychic connections and love the way these are ingrained into the books as the stories unfold.

Although there were some things that caused me slight annoyances I cannot deny that as a whole this fits as one of the best series i have enjoyed. my thanks to the author for providing such a thoroughly engaging tale

Great story

Committee polyandry ménage.
This isb Danny, Kate and Ben's story which runs parallel to Rich, Tess and Patches story, so shared events come from their prospective. Danny and Kate took Ben and Jessie in after Tracy left them on Christmas Eve. While they lived a few house down, they spent a almost every day at Kate and Danny's.
A New Years Eve, get together, ends with Danny and Kate inviting Ben into their bed, and a few times since. Danny has been looking for a third and knowing Kate is falling in love with Ben he wants to make the their occasional nights forever.
Ben is falling in love with Kate and is stunned that Danny wants to make their arrangement permanent. He is agreeable to try.
Tracy did a number on Ben. When he realizes how dominant, capable and unassuming Danny is he looses his way. He goes so far that he looses the respect of his officers and the rest of the club follow. It takes Steve, Bob and Tiny to get him back on tract, so he doesn't lose his family.
On top of it all, there is Tess to keep safe, the Outlaws to deal with, and the problems Tracy is still causing.
Danny and Ben make a great team, once Ben stops competing with Danny they become an unstoppable force.
Loved seeing the Baxter's who not only helped with their troubles with the outlaws, and security but gave practical relationship advice. I loved that Jake and Cloud are now part of the MCs.
The little brothers continue their journey to becoming great men.
I love this series, it gets better with each book.

Reread in July 2018. I'm upping my rating to 4 stars; it's closer to a 4 than a 3 for me in the second reading. I just got done re-reading the entire MC series, the Baxter series, and completed the new Saber series with what's done so far. I still really like L Ann Marie's storytelling; she's got a great imagination, and I love her characters. I think some readers will find the prose too dense and confusing at times, but after reading everything by her, it's just become easier for me to read. If you have earlier books by her, see if you can reload from Amazon since they all have been edited more. I do go to the genealogy charts for each series a lot because I do get lost sometimes (but unfortunately I can't access these when I'm on my Kindle. For some reason, the links don't work for any of the series when it comes to Characters). Ben is the Pres but also has been hit hard by Tracy's betrayal, so he needs to build up his strength again, and Kate and Danny are there to help him with that. This is only the start of more MFM relationships in the MC, so hang on.

Original review: Not my favorite of the series. I really wish Ben would have gotten his own woman; I like mfm books, but this one didn't really work for me because I already had so much invested in Danny and Kate through their own book and Rich and Patches' book. Nice to see all the MC characters, though, and all the kids, of course. And I enjoy the fun/funny scenes as well.

Thanks for reading!

Another brilliant book in the series. This is based around Kate and Danny from book 2 and Ben the Pres of the club. Danny will do anything to make Kate happy and if that means bringing Ben into their marriage. This book is focusing on Kate Danny and Bens point of view and Bens struggle to understand his place in the relationship. The books all tie together and I love how the characters brought about in book 1 are carried through the series. I am sooooo looking for more books in this series as it was a blast to read

I loved this book!

I have so enjoyed the first two books. I thought this was going to be just repeat since the were closely linked. They are but they are not. She did an excellent job of keeping the timelines together while keeping the story fresh and entertaining. I laughed and cringed during the attacks and chase scenes, fanned during the sex scenes and smiled huge during most of the discussions. Love overwhelming love and brotherhood of badass biker men and their families makes for a really great story. Highly recommend

5+ Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just like the others in this series, this book rocks!! It was very well written. Showing that even though Ben is President, he is human. And that having a relationship such as theirs, it takes a lot of work!! I do think Danny is superhuman though, lol! Can one be that good at everything and still be a sexy, Badass Biker?!
Only in the pages of a L. Ann Marie novel!!!

My favorite author.

Like all the rest of the books in this series this is another great book. My only complaint was I felt like I had read the book from tess, rich, and patches story. They was several of the same scenes in both books even though the story's were about different people. I would recommend reading these books from this author. Once you start the first book you won't want to stop until you have read the whole series.

So unique and awesome!

Absolutely loved the point of view story of Ben, Kate, and Danny. It made a couple things make sense and loved how it was not always sunshine and roses. They had to work for this bliss! I love this authors style of writing and how the characters stick with you. Love that Jake and Cloud got a cut but would love to learn more about them! So happy with this series and so cannot wait to read!

When a author writes two or more books that have the same events timeline it can be difficult if not impossible when on the second or more to hold the reader's attention. L. Ann Marie does hold our attention, giving us different points of view on the same situations in ways that don't make if feel like it just been put in for the sake of the timeline but also a whole new story running right along at the same time

Love Ben!

It's always a good time at the MC until it isn't. Lots of challenges thrown at them in this story. It runs parallel to the previous book but you get a whole lot more perspective on all the events happening behind the scenes a and we get to see more of t the world around them. Loved the relationship between Pres, Danny and Kate. The way they come together and build their relationship and their family is beautiful.

This book dealing with Danny, Kate and Ben was a true life book. Ben, for all his ability to lead, needed to learn to follow when appropriate. He also needed to learn the Traci was stuck in his head and still calling the shots from afar. Danny became the true leader, guiding Ben and Kate into what became a beautiful love story. Ben and Danny both envied each other in the way they loved Kate. Kate loved them both equally. The children, all of them, help guide them into a great family.

Love the story

Love the way they make this work for them. I love that it's not always sunshine and rainbows, there is heart ache and hurts and human emotions. There is fights but the love never ends, it always makes things better. Those kid's are kick ass. Can't wait to read more of this story. I recommend this series and the Author.

WOW. You did an excellent job keep the story line straight and matched up to Rich and Patches story. I loved how you did the same scenes but from a different perspective. I imagine that it took a lot of time and organization to keep it all straight but it was worth it. Going to start the next book now.

President , Father, husband, and friend

Prez has not had it easy, being the President of an MC is not easy but Ben does it with pride. Finding his forever with an old lady of a Brother was not planned but it is welcome, the three need some time to work everything out but their love for each other and their mc makes it work

Brilliant

Wow is all I can say. I absolutely loved this book following Kate, Danny and Ben. This book was so fun and just downright enjoyable. I am absolutely amazed the author was able to keep the time line and stuff the characters had said straight. This book is wrote so you can see how Ben gets added into the mix but that means you have to go back to the previous characters and books so it fits with the timelines. Very well written and look forward to more!!!!

Enjoyed this

I really enjoyed this book as I did the others in the series, but I only gave it a 4* as for me it dragged in parts and was repeating parts of the last book just from a different perspective. The storyline was interesting, and I love all the characters, but I just found this book slower. On to the next.
