This is a cute space exploration story, with a number of VERY detailed holograms inside!

The story is okay, nothing groundbreaking. The art and holograms are about the biggest draw of the book, and the characters don't even meet the aliens for their trouble. Still, considering most younger reader books are on about the same level WITHOUT the neat holograms, I can't really dock too many points just for an uncompelling storyline. I mean, the art and holograms ARE pretty neat!

My first science fiction book, planted the seeds of my longest standing vice. It's neither a masterpiece of storytelling not art, but the holograms are fun, and it was good enough to inspire me. So why shouldn't I rate it well?
