The Trailsman #239

Comanche Battle Cry

Rate this book
Along the Rio Grande, life is as cheap as watered-down whiskey, and the only law is the survival of the fittest. Skye Fargo knows this, but a job is a job, and guiding a New Orleans fur trader upriver seems an easy way to make a dollar--until they run into a group of Apache infected with smallpox.

Stopping to help, Fargo and his friend barely prevent the disease from wiping out the entire tribe. But that turns out to be the easy part.

Because the survivors now have to face an even deadlier enemy than smallpox--a Comanche war party on the rampage. And their only chance to live is a powerful medicine made of hot lead, fast hands, and nerves of steel.

I had already read a large portion of this story somewhere else. If I had to choose, I'd say the other guy plagiarized this one.
