Hot, sexy read. Loved Cole and Dani together, they make a perfect couple. I hope Simone and Brad's book comes out soon.

What a quick and fun book this was.
Dani was attacked two years ago by a bear and is pretty sure it turned into a man afterwards. Living in constant fear that this could happen again, Dani has pretty much cut ties with most things that she loves, going to her hometown and painting.
Cole is a alpha shifter who is just doing this own thing. A stop at a local restaurant puts him in the direct path of this mate.
Knowing Cole has an uphill battle in not only getting to know his mate but also making her understand that not all shifters are bad was both fun and heartbreaking to read.

The Potential Was There
This book could be easily been longer. Like so many shifter novels, it was pretty much the same but with some added suspense. The author could've built on that suspense and mad it more of a mystery. She cut it too short before it really had a chance to bloom. Some parts bored enough that I skimmed through. I gave it three stars because the hero stayed with the heroine after the attack and went back later to find clues (once she was safe), the heroine didn't just accept shifters were real and was okay with it. And lastly, there was are but not enough that it dominated the entire book.

Twists and heat! Such a good plot!
It was like Cole was waiting his whole life for Dani I to come into it but Dani just wasn't ready for it. Her history made their coming together so improbable that it seemed impossible. But that chemistry though! Charlotte Summers wrote this book with twist and heat and ohmygod, did somebody try to kill Dani again? I loved this dang story! I have never read anything by this author before, but you can believe I will find everything else I can find from her. Read this book!

Bear Shifter Standalone book.
Kindle Unlimited book. Standalone. Where to start? First book I ever read by this author. Started strong, had good characters, and had a uniqueness because of the twists that happen. She is attached by a bear and 2 years later returns home, to the town it happened in. The bear shifter that attacked her is a total surprise to me and the Alpha of the book is different than most. Good fun hot short read.

This a great short read. Dani was attacked by a bear. The attack changed her in many ways. Her friend Simone is trying to get her to face her fear. They go back to the town she was attacked in.
Cole is a bear shifter who is Dani's mate. Cole has to help Dani face her fear and to except him as a bear shifter. I can't wait to read about Simone and Brad in the next book.

This was wonderful. I wondered how he was going to tell her about him being a shifter, but it was awesome. Thought it was the younger brother who was the Bear. Great job on this book.
