4 stars; been wading into the world of photography of late and eagerly brushing up on the classics; came across this one by accident and the pictures gripped my attention immediately, as a practicing physician myself; all too familiar scenes depicted in a respectful, dignified manner; as a lot of these photobooks only appear in hardcopy; check out 'the internet archive'.
