After finishing Book One of this series I couldn't wait to begin Book Two-Evolution. It is as good if not better than the first. The author, P.J. Webb has created a unique type of Vampire. A Vampire with a soul. Sebastian is not without anger, especially to the one who created him, as well as Vampires who feed off humans. The author takes us through WWII and what needs to be done to survive and continues his search for the beginning of the first vampire. Much happens that I will not speak of, not wanting to ruin the story for anyone. I highly recommend this book to any who enjoyed the first. I do look forward to book three, and can't wait for its publication.

Much like the first Prince of the Blood book one, Transformation, I thoroughly enjoyed this well-written and unique vampire tale. Both books in PJ Webb's short series are good stories to get lost in and her main character, Sebastian Du Sang, with his weaknesses, his transgressions, as well as his pride and determination, are easy to relate to.

This is a great two-book series, I just hope there's a third book. I really want to know what happens next for Sebastian and Jillian.
