This is a really nice book. I remember I bought it from a book stall while I was attending EuroGP 2007 in Valencia, Spain. I was so fond of machine learning then. As soon as I bought the book, I couldn't resist my temptation to read it. It has a bunch of some really nice chapters. I can recall from my memory that apart from the chapters on genetic algorithms, genetic programming, particle swarm optimization, artificial immune systems, simulated annealing and tabu search, I especially liked the one on fitness landscapes. I think this book is a must-have for your book shelves.
