Judging By Appearance from The best of Tenali Raman

A chief in the army of Vijayanagar got a son. He called the king and his courtiers for a feast that day. The king and the courtiers came to bless the baby. The king said to the baby that you may be a great warrior like your father but Tenali said that he would be a greater warrior than his father and that he knows this just by looking at the baby This incident was forgotten by the king but the courtiers had another chance to humiliate Tenali. One of the courtiers told the king "Tenali was trying to insult your attention, how can he tell if what the baby can become when he grows up?"
They hung 2 vessels on the ceiling with a chain. One vessel was made from solid gold and the other was of hollow gold. Tenali was told to differentiate between the vessel made from hollow gold and the vessel made from solid gold without touching them. Tenali immediately differentiated between the 2 and told that the right one was made of hollow gold as he saw the vessel moving with the wind and the left one was made from solid gold because it was not moving with the wind.
After hearing this the king was very happy and rewarded Tenali.
