'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Another brilliant gem by Charles Yallowitz! I can't recommend the Windemere series enough. If you're a LOTR fan, buy this book (and the whole series) today! You won't regret it.

Another excellent episode of the saga.

Luke, Nyx, Sari, Delvin & Timoran meet the next champion, Dariana, who has been sleep in her own temple for centuries and turns out to be not only ancient and powerful, but of unexpected lineage.
Nyx has to unleash her full powers to claim her own temple.
Gods, monsters, assassinations and battles abound.

A Great Volume in the Series!

So I have taken a break from fantasy books for a while and decided to read this book as my return to the genre.

Windemere is a series that I enjoy reading, the characters are always interesting, the world is very vivid and the battles are really intense.

The main things I took away from this book is that Nyx really grew as a person and a magic-user. Also the rivalry between Kira and Sari for Luke’s affections is reaching a boiling point and soon a choice will have to be made!

Overall I really enjoyed this volume and I look forward to reading the next one in the series.

This is another well-written and action-packed addition to the series. I love the exciting plot with its surprises and emotional rollercoaster rides, think the descriptions and worldbuilding are excellent, and enjoy getting to know the interesting characters and seeing their relationships grow and evolve. I especially enjoyed the creativity of the way the secret door was revealed, and the encounter with the dragon. I won't say more than that, because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read this book yet.
