This book had a such a cute story that could leave you with the impression that it could be a successful pre-teen movie. I had a smile plastered on my face during the majority of this book. Not to say it doesn’t have its heavy, trying pieces.

Dare Andrews, the son of a highly successful Hollywood director who was sold out to his limelight hungry ex-girlfriend, stumbles upon Chance, unbelievably optimistic girl with lots more blurry corners than anyone could imagine at a

I really enjoyed this book. It had a Cinderella feel to it that I really enjoyed. The characters were deep with strengths and weakness that made them endearing to the reader. It was a light read with just the right amount of plot and romance. Very much enjoyed this book!

It wasn't as I was expecting, although that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. My rating backs this point entirely. I was expecting older characters, I was expecting people that were too dramatic for their age. I was craving it. However to my surprise it is a highschool book where the characters are beyond their years. At least the ones that were the main focus. It worked well and had me hooked from the get go. So many times I thought there were going to be problems with my plans because of this bo ...more

I gobbled this book up so fast I loved it SO much!!!! I love all of Lani Woodland’s work. She is the master at hooking a reader, sucking you in, and keeping you thinking about her characters for days. I’m in love with Chance and Dare—they’re so real to me and I cared about them and was rooting for them throughout the whole story. Tension was always there. Pacing was great. This story is one where you forget that you’re reading and you just want to stay wrapped up in this world. Loved all of the ...more

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of this book. It might have been one of the cutest things I've read in a long time. I fell in love with the characters in the first chapter. Dare was a great narrator and Chance was simply adorable. It was sweet but balanced with enough reality to make sure I didn't end up with a cavity. I highly recommend this book!

It is a bit weird being sucked into a Richey rich world that has real people there. This is an unexpectedly down to earth, amazing story with great characters and surprises.

I liked the characters in this book, but the things happening in the lives of these teenagers is all too real for me and so I don't think I will be reading any more of this series. I read to get away from reality and this didn't do that for me. It is very well written and very believable, so for those of you who like close to real life stories I highly recommend this series. I just ended up feeling sick and sorry for these sweet young people who are going through so much. Funny how it doesn't bo ...more
