Sedition takes up immediately at the end of Subjection. Cashiel and Sascha managed to get through Cashiel’s mother’s grasp and also worked out a way to be more than they started as – reluctant slave owner and Demoted sex slave. Now, Sascha is nowhere near as jumpy as he was originally and Cashiel is growing more human. Sedition progresses the storyline and is a better book than Subjection, which I really enjoyed. There is more chemistry, more character development and a push towards a conclusion ...more

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

4.5 Stars

If you open Sedition in the hope that Sascha is going to have an easier time than he did in Demoted you should probably just close it again and walk away. Although some things in Sascha’s life are set to improve it is balanced against horrors he must still live through.

Cashiel and Sascha are still working on improving the life of the Demoted citizens by changing the training system but it requires smarts and secrecy to go up against Cash’s mother.

4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.

I was very drawn to this story when I started it and that feeling picked right back up when I began this book. Sascha and Cash are doing well at this point, with their precarious relationship, both sexual and working. But, things are getting trickier for these guys as Cash’s work gets more involved and more people are needed to be brought into the fold. Cash must put his trust in Sascha in order to keep him safe, even though doing so will make him even more o

OMG, I can’t believe that finally, we can follow more of Sascha and Cash… and I must say, this sequel is a roller coaster of emotions that will keep you glued until the last page!

So… I’ll try to write this review without any spoilers… lol…

I loved and sometimes hated Cash and Sascha's interactions since the first book. I mean, Cash learned the hard way how he “should” treat a demoted, a slave, and that was not always the best way for Sascha to be treated… b

5 stars!! Huge cliffy at end but expected:( Sascha and Cash have come a long way together. Can't wait for conclusion in book 3.

'....There’s not even a word for what I’m feeling right now. Something between horny and spiteful and grateful and curious. Try finding that on a feelings chart....'

My emotions were all over the place, filled with angst, anger, and hope. I really love a book that challenges my feelings and makes me wrestle with ethics, especially when the two main characters are gloriously sexy like Cashiel and his slave Sascha.

Usually I get grumpy when books end on a cliff hanger, but the heart thumping panic

Sedition, Book 2 in Alicia Cameron’s Demoted series, continues where book 1 left off. Sasha is getting more and more comfortable everyday with Cash and his surroundings. He still jumps and is hesitant when Cash raises his voice or moves too quickly. Old habits are hard to forget especially with the abuse he was subjected to.

Cashiel is moving forward with his project that will destroy his mother and her system. Unless, she destroys him first, which is a great possibility. Cash turns to an old fri

Sedition is the second in the Demoted series and I have not read the first book. Despite my jump, I was not lost or confused with characters or plot. There was a bit of a backstory dump in the first chapter which was thick, but critical to my understanding of the character histories. That backstory could have been smoothed.

Sedition's voice drifts from distant overview to very intense close third and back again. I've never been fond of distant voices and I don't think Sedition gains anything from

A Joyfully Jay review.

Sedition is another wonderful book by Alicia Cameron, and it picks up where its predecessor, Subjection, left off. Sascha and Cashiel are captivating characters and it is extremely easy to get drawn into their story. They are a complex couple, with neither man exactly what he seems, but both of them dedicated to the burgeoning relationship they have begun to create. As with Subjection, Sedition has some technical quirks that are bothersome at best. Though written

I had the very same feelings towards this book as I've had towards the first installment. A very good, quick read. Preordering the third part.

When I was diving into this book I knew that it won't be easy...and in some way it wasn't. I became fast reader with this book as always when the book keeps me on the edge all the time. I'm glad for what Cash and Sasha had in this book. It wasn't easy and there were parts where I had to take a lot of chapter breaks because it was really hard to read it. But I did it for Sasha. Becuase he's amazing human being. Selfless and you have to ask yourself if you'd do the same in those situations. He's m ...more

Another thrilling installment to the Demoted Series, this one even better than the first. Sedition was such a brilliant story; full of plots and sub-plots, twists and turns, family drama and a rollercoaster of emotions. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
