Elmo and Zoe are best buddies. So when Zoe suddenly decides that she’d like to change a few things about herself to be more like her other monster girlfriends, it’s up to Elmo to convince her that she’s lovable just the way she is.
I haven't actually read this one yet. Instead, I have talked through the pictures with Natalie several times. I like that from a quick glance at the text and the pictures I can tell her the story without having to read it to her word for word, which she can't sit still for. I particularly like the expressiveness of Zoe's face when she is happy, worried, and sad.
Even though the outcome was exactly what it should be (it's in the title) it was nice that Elmo went out of his way to tell Zoe not to change who she was just for him.
