This is the second book in the Wildflower B&B romance series. Piper Hunt has come to Wildflower Island to develop her family's land. Chase Grayson owns the property next to hers. He does not want the high scale resort she plans on building built on the island and will convince the town council to agree with him, if Piper can't change his mind. And if she can't change his mind, her dad may just fire her from Hunt Enterprises. She's got this one chance to prove she can do it, regardless of her past mistakes.

Piper needs to build this resort. If she doesn't, she may not have a future in her dad's company. But will the resort be good for the island? She's got a past she trying not to repeat, but if she's can't convince Chase how can she convince anyone else?

Chase is intent on making Piper leave. He can't take a chance with his heart if that person his heart wants is going to destroy his island. His ex-girlfriend left him when she realized how remotely he lived. Piper likes the big city and is determined to bring the big city to his doorstep. Can he convince her his island doesn't need the big city?

Will Chase support Piper's project? Will he find out the real reason for her development persistence? And in the midst of all this, Nick and Zoe are getting ready for their wedding. Will Zoe back out, or is she ready to take the next step? Pick up this great book for a wonderfully sweet romance by a great author!

An island off the coast of Washington is the setting for Kimberly Rose Johnson's second book, Island Dreams, in the Wildflower B & B series. Ms. Johnson defines the scenery so well that one can imagine riding the ferry, exploring the island, seeing the beautiful vistas, and in general, falling in love with the island.

Piper Hunt is a young, single real estate developer who is hoping to build a resort on her parents' property. She wants Chase Grayson and his landscaping firm to provide the outdoor ambience, but Chase is anything but convinced development is good for the island. Piper and Chase are like beginning dancers in their relationship;stumbling, fumbling around, finally getting into the groove of the dance on both a professional and personal level, only to suddenly loose the sense of the tempo again, and step on each others' feet. Can Piper and Chase join forces in honesty,or will they destroy each other's hopes for the future?

We also get to see more of Zoe and her fiance, Nick. The closer the wedding comes, the more glitches arise. Will this couple actually make it down the aisle?

This is a very sweet, clean,Christian romance and a good follow up to book I, Island Rescue. If you like Christian romances, this is a book and series for you!

I gratefully received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading more about Nick and Zoe and getting acquainted with Piper and Chase. Piper is a very fascinating young lady who wants so desperately to succeed in the family business. I can’t imagine living with the fear that my own father would fire me from my job if I fail to accomplish the assignment he has handed me. It seemed Piper was in a bind every way she turned. I got a distinct impression that she could make life very interesting for everyone around her. Wildflower Island continued to draw me even as it did in the first book in the series. The descriptions of the various places on the island were almost breathtaking. The interaction between Piper, Chase, and others on the island kept things moving. The story would make a great “chick flick”. I recommend it to lovers of good clean romance stories. The second book in the Wildflower B&B series. I loved this one, too. Piper came to the island to build a fancy resort on her parents’ property, but after seeing the land, she realizes her original plans won’t work. She has to scale it down and make it more of a fit to the island. Chase owns the property next door and doesn’t want a resort nearby. But he finds himself liking Piper and her revised plans. And Zoe and Nick from book 1 are planning their wedding. A beautiful story, and I can’t wait to read the next book to see how the resort is progressing.

Island Dreams***** book 2 Wildflower B&B Romance Series
by Kimberley Rose Johnson

In Island Dreams we return to Wildflower Island were the Wildflower B&B Romance series is set. Piper Hunt has arrived to develop the land her family owns. This land butts-up to Chase Grayson's land and he is not sure he wants it developed the way she has planned—or at all. Piper and Chase clash on their ideas of what to do with her family's land. Will they be able to agree on the plans she develops for the land—plans to benefit the island, is environmentally-friendly and maintains the natural beauty of the island?

The characters in this book are very down-to-earth, real-to-life characters with hopes, dreams, heartbreaks, strengths, weaknesses, love and faith that creates a heartwarming story. I like that Piper and Chase's past is shown and how it has impacted their present—and future—professional and personal lives in many ways. Trusting is one area they both have struggles with, letting go of the past and letting God heal their past wounds. It was good to see them start to open up to each other, and exploring a possible personal relationship. They seem a perfect couple and I was rooting for them as I read along. I could feel Piper's struggle and hearts-longing to make her parents proud of her and trying to be “perfect” in all she does. I liked the way her friend pointed out to her some truths Piper had not considered about herself before and the way she turned to God in prayer for answers.

I also like that we revisit some of the characters from the first book, Island Refuge, Zoe Griffin and Nick Jackson. It was good to catch up on their lives and see a strong friendship developing with Zoe, Nick, Piper and Chase. I feel as I have visited “old” friends and made new ones in this series. I so enjoyed this heartwarming story and hope for more books in this series.

Island Dreams is the second book in the Wildflower B&B Romance series. It builds from Island Refuge where we first are introduced to Wildflower Island, a remote and quaint Puget Sound Hiding Place. The island is stuck in the 1900's. However, the island inhabitants enjoy it this way.

When Piper Hunt arrives, Chase Grayson is not really sure if he should trust this outsider. She is proposing bringing changes to the island that he is not ready for. More tourists and traffic is needed but what will be the consequences? Will the island loose its charm? How can he let her go before he hears her out? Why does his heart and head not agree? Does she feel the same?

Meanwhile at the B&B, Zoe and Nick are planning their wedding. However, Nick feels that Zoe may have changed her mind. Did he read her wrong? Has he acted too soon?

Ms. Johnson does an excellent job of character development. One learns the whys and reasons Chase and Piper act as they do but not before one feels the tensions and mistrust and happiness in each. The story flows with the banter and interaction of the characters just as one would see in everyday life. As the reader, you really feel like you are seeing the events unfold. I wanted to jump in and tell Piper to open her eyes at times.

If you looking for a great but light read, then I would highly recommend both of the books in the series. There is a third story coming so you won't be left in the dark. I would however, recommend reading the first Island Refuge in order to really know get to know the characters.

This is a sweet contemporary romance.

I love both of the main characters in this story, Piper Hunt and Chase Grayson. They are both incredibly well developed. They each have a lot of strengths in their jobs and work relationships. But they both have weaknesses in their personal lives and relationships. In other words they are completely realistic and human.

They are both holding a number of past wounds within that are affecting them in decision making and the ability to trust others. They are very afraid of being wounded again and it hampers their relationships on a personal level.

It is wonderful to see how they begin to open up and express themselves, becoming vulnerable in the process. Then they have to learn how to work through those wounds and find healing before their relationship can grow and develop.

It was a lot of fun to read about what is going on in the lives of Zoe Griffin and Nick Jackson, the main characters from book 1 of this series. I thoroughly enjoy reading series set up like this because I can really start to feel like the characters are friends of mine since I feel like I’m part of their ongoing lives. I hope there are many more books in this series.

I had the privilege of being a final proofreader for this wonderful book and I am writing my honest opinion of the story.

What an enjoyable story! Kimberly Rose Johnson writes warm inviting books that draw you into the story through her delightful settings and great character development. Island Dreams is the second book in her Wildflower Bed and Breakfast Romance series.
You will enjoy the return of some of the characters from book one, as well as meeting some new ones. Piper’s strong personality is the perfect backdrop for the strong message of surrender. Piper doesn't have to be strong in and of herself. Her (our) strength comes when we surrender every part, every detail, to God's control, remembering that we cannot do things in and of ourselves, but rather, we need to seek the Lord, and His strength, in all things.
I love the island setting off the coast of Washington, as well as the warm and friendly bed and breakfast atmosphere. I also appreciate the element of faith that is always included in every one of this author’s books. She writes a clean and God-honoring book with a very purpose-driven message.
I look forward to the third book in this series.

Island Dreams ( Wildflower B & B Romance - Book 2 )
By: Kimberly Rose Johnson

This is book two in the Wildflower B & B Romance series. Kimberly does a fantastic job of pinning the story and her characters together. Island Dreams is a very sweet , clean Christian Contemporary Romance. I loved meeting back up with Zoe and Nick from Island Refuge book one. Piper is at Wildflower to develop the land her family owns and she wants to success. Chase is a local landscaper architect and his land is next to Piper’s. These two don’t always agree on everything. If Piper don’t get the ok to develop the family land , what will she do? Piper and Chase both are afraid of being hurt again , what does this do for them . I have to say WOW, this is a fantastic book two and I really enjoyed it very much. I am so looking forward to book three.
I was given an ARC by the author for my honest review, which I have given

Piper Hunt comes to the beautiful Wildflower Island in hopes of developing some property for a resort. Piper contacts local landscape architect Chase Grayson to show her around but she may have a fight on her hands because Chase doesn’t like the idea of a big resort being built on his tranquil haven-- Wildflower Island. To Piper this deal is more personal to her than she lets anyone know.

Chase wants to get to know Piper better on a personal level but will he ruin his chances by not supporting her?
I also like how the main characters from the first book in this series—Nick and Zoe—have a big part as well. As the wedding moves forward is Zoe getting cold feet?

This book reminds us that when we have a problem we should first turn to the Lord. Also that we cannot obtain perfection—we can do the best we can with the Lords help but when we put the pressure to be perfect upon us, were going to eventually crack.

Island Dreams by Kimberly Rose Johnson is one of my favorite quick reads from 2015. I enjoyed how she wove together the story thread from Island Refuge with this new book in the series. Each book stands alone yet blends together in a smooth flow, with this second story picking up where the first left off in Nick and Zoe’s story. Although Johnson introduces new characters in this book, Nick and Zoe remain an integral part of the story, rather than a quick mention to tie up any loose ends from the first book. Excellent word choice paints visual pictures for readers and draws them into the story without being overdone. Strong character development and interaction also contribute to this enjoyable story.

Island Dreams is the second book in the Wildflower Bed and Breakfast Romance series. It's a marvelous story with a beautiful setting. I love the characters and how each one has their own unique personality. The romance between Chase and Piper can relate to many of us. Sometimes both have to find a compromise to make a situation or romance work. This book attracted my attention from the first chapter. I enjoyed reading Island Dreams and looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend reading this book by a great author.

I liked how this book gave you insight and background into the characters so you could see where and why they were coming from. Piper is working to develop her family's land, but the owner of the land next door, Chase, isn't on board with some of her ideas. I liked seeing some of the characters from the first book and seeing how their lives have progressed. You don't have to have read the first book to enjoy this one, but it will give you additional background.

A sweet story of friendships, love and trust. Piper has plans for the island, but, will she be able to complete those plans? She wants to make her father proud of her, but, she has some hurdles to get through first. Chase has his own ideas for the island. Piper and Chase are characters that are easy to like. I enjoyed the flow of the story line and the characters, too.
