Spoiler Alert: Even though Exile is Part Three of the Guy Erma and the Son of Empire series, I have tried to keep my comments general to keep from giving away any of the goodies contained between the pages.

Exile is Part Three of the Guy Erma and the Son of Empire series. If you are a fan of action and adventure with some science fiction thrown in, this is a series for you. Each book picks up where the other left off. I was fortunate enough to receive Hunter and Exile before I was done with

BOOK REVIEW:
Exile – for a series whose first two books are named ‘Kidnap’ and ‘Hunter’, this title itself creates a buzz. For those who have read books one and two of the Guy Erma and the son of the Empire, the story should be fairly easy to follow. It just continues where the previous book ended. Guy Erma and Prince Teodor escape through the dark tunnels of the domeside, but in the meanwhile discover a dark secret – a weapon that was placed in their kingdom to ruin the entire population and

This review first appeared on my blog Christy's Cozy Cornes.

Exile is the final installment of Guy Erma and the Son of the Empire, yet it is only the beginning of what lies ahead for Teodor. In Exile, Teodor finally escapes from being held as a kidnap victim and returns to his mother.

A lot happens in this final part of the book, but I can’t give anything away without giving a lot of spoilers! I will say that not everything is as it seems in this story. You never know who to trust or who is

I thought that part two, Hunter was really good but part three is just as grand. The action never stopped. The story kept going from start to end. Again I could not get enough of Guy and Teodor. They were evenly matched.

I have talked about the characters but not too much about the world that this story took place in. It felt like a real world. What I mean by this is that it was very believable as a place to could really exist. For a sci-fi fan like me, this was a great thing. Sci-fi stories can

I received a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review from Iread book tours. This is in no way reflected in my opinion of this book.

Exile, part three of the Guy Erma trilogy was easily my favorite in the series. Full of excitement and adventure, I was hooked from the beginning. While some of the themes in this book might not be suitable for younger children, older kids and adults will enjoy Prince Teodor and Guy Erma's daring escape and race to the Magnolia Palace. Along the way they

Exile picks up right after Hunter ends. Exile reveals the anticipated escape of Teodor and Guy Erma from the Dome. Along with solving some unanswered questions, Exile also pulled the empire and characters back together and solved the overall conflict of the series: the kidnap of Prince Teodor. But of course, there's a catch. Now there's another source of problem and Prince Teodor and with Guy Erma this time, are on a spaceship heading towards another planet. And there's a plague spreading ...more

Exile is the third part in The Guy Erma and The Son of Empire series. The story is a perfect continuation of its preceding book – Hunter. In this installment Prince Theodor escapes from the crutches of his captor with the help of the domeside orphan and blade champion, Guy Erma. In the process of escaping, he unearths a secret destructive weapon smuggled and embedded into the dome to create mass destruction. For those

Author Sally Ann Melia dedicates the third and thus far most recent installment of her Guy Erma and the Son of Empire series, with an illustration opening the main text depicting the franchise’s titular protagonist Guy Erma, dark-haired and clothed. The story itself commences with the ironically-named Interlude (which would have been a fitting name in the longer version of the series’ combined three books) focusing on Ambassador Nikato Valvanchi II and his father, Ex-Ambassador Nikato Valvahnchi ...more

The first thing you need to know about Exile: Part 3 is that this is not a stand-alone book. It’s the exciting conclusion to Sally Ann Melia’s Guy Erma and the Son Of Empire series –the Young Adult / Science Fiction thriller that first introduced us to 13-year old Prince Teodor and Guy Erma.

These are two boys who come from completely different backgrounds, but their fates became intertwined when Prince Teodor is kidnapped.

Now, Prince Theodor has managed to escape from the evil clutches of his

Seamless blend of technology, fighting skill and exquisite fashion houses!

I am sure that I have ended up feeling as traumatized as the young boy who was kidnapped, by the time I reached book three. I also read the final book in less than 24 hours, because it is so gripping. I am sure my brain received a complete rewiring, as I am not familiar with reading science fiction books...I am more hard-wired to watching movies of that genre. The descriptions are mind blowing, so if you enjoy this

"Exile" Is a Fine Ending to "Guy Erma" Series

In Book III of the “Guy Erma and Son of Empire Series, Exile,” author Sally Ann Melia quite nicely ties up the many threads she sewed as we met the many characters in the three-volume work. For example, Emperor Frederon, one of those whose behind-the-scenes machinations resulted in the initial kidnapping of Teo, heir to the throne of Freyne and, ultimately, the empire, tried to use the incident to force Teo's mother and regent Sayginn into a marriage

I am 100% wrapped up in this young adult science fiction adventure. I probably shouldn’t because let’s face it, there is nothing young adult about me, but I really am enjoying this entire series.

There is plenty of action (nothing too graphic). There is betrayal and loyalty and conniving. There is politics. There is suspense.

I don’t want to give too much away, but you definitely have to read the first two books in this series to understand the third.

There are still some fuzzy areas that I am not

Exile is book 3 of the Guy Erma and the Son of Empire Series by Sally Ann Melia. This series is not a stand alone series. In order for this book to make a really great story for you, you must read book 1 - Kidnap and book 2 - Hunter. In Book one you meet all the characters, in book 2 the story really heats up and now we are in book 3. The story is about Teodor who is Heir to the throne of Freyne, who has been kidnapped. And Guy Erma who is the son of a fashion model, his father is unknown, and ...more

Exile is the third book in the Guy Erma & The Son of Empire series which is young adult science fiction. In the first book, Kidnap, Prince Teodor was kidnapped. In the second book, Hunter, the prince was still a captive of Chart Segat who set up a fight between Guy Erma and the prince. That book ended when the fight was over and Guy had to decide if he was going to help Prince Teodore escape. Exile begins with Guy and Teo escaping from the Dome.

There are a lot of characters in these books

This is book three in the Guy Erma and the Son of Empire series, and starts off where book 2 left off. I think these books could maybe work as stand alones, but I think it works better when you read them in order.

The book is packed with action and all kinds of obstacles, and you will not want to stop reading. There many good messages in the book like the importance of family, integrity, loyalty, friendship and being able to make quick decisions.

Like I said in my reviews of the first two books, I

Exile by Sally Ann Melia part 3 was my favorite book in the series. I kind of figured it would be because it wraps everything up and the book is none stop action from the first pages right up until the end of the book. It find myself not wanting to read this book because I knew once I finished this story that it would be over and that always sucks for me. It reminds me of why I still haven’t finished the last book in the Divergent series because I don’t want to end so I am refusing to read the ...more

In part 3 of Guy Erma and Son of Empire we learn a bit more about the structure and size of the Dome itself. Guy and Teodor are together when Karl Valvanchi finally manages to reach him using telepathy. Teodor still doesn't understand that Karl is trying to help him, all he knows is that he was told, that he is "Killer Valvanchi". Guy has doubts about which side he is fighting for but knows that both of them are in trouble and need to stay together in order to survive.

A lot of information came out during book 3 that you weren't quite sure about in book 2. We FINALLY know who Guy's parents are, we FINALLY know what happened with the stolen poison pills, we FINALLY know the reasoning behind Teodor's kidnapping.

While there was so much information... the story was still really fast paced and full of action. At the end of each chapter I was unable to put the book down since I just had to know what happened next. Even though Teo escaped from his kidnappers, and

I like the progress this book had made. From the first part down to the third, it was really amazing to follow our characters grow and develop. The thing is, this book (or volume) was quite long. The whole volume has more or less four hundred pages (?) but I think it would be better if it has less than 400 pages with concise backstory and story itself.

A very explosive ending but I did not like how this book, or the volume, ended. It didn't answered the things I was hoping to be answered. I was

I have read the first 2 books in the series by Sally Ann Melia. This book is called "Exile". I was very happy to read this book because I wanted to see what had happened to both Guy Erma and Teodor. These boys are both 13 years old but that is just about the only way that they are alike. One has been trying to get home, the other has left because he wanted to. Now they are both afraid of the future and what could happen. Are they really friends or just pretending to be ? They are about to have a ...more

The adventures of Guy Erma & Teodor continue!

With Guy’s help, Teo may find his way home – back to the Palace. Can Teo trust Guy to be loyal to him? Teo must make some very “grown-up”, serious decisions.

Guy has given all he knows up to save Prince Teo! What will he have to face once the Prince is safe? Will he be thrown to the Borgs? While escaping, Guy discovered something critical. Something that is very unusual.

Karl and Nell – of the Valvanchi family – also have some viable choices to

I hugely enjoyed reading this trilogy of books. It sets the scene nicely in a futuristic (or parallel) world where human and non-human species co-exist, albeit in a web of complex politics and distrust. The two main characters are teenage boys, always vying to be the hero of the story, and the original plot line takes us on a rollercoaster ride as we follow the twists and turns of a royal kidnap. To capture our interest the author has introduced several imaginative creations worthy of Tolkein's ...more
