Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible for Image Comics, as well as Ultimate X-Men and Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.

Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.

In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.

Not that I don't want the dark quiet moments of Outcast, but in this issue we finally get to see some action again! I've been waiting to see Kyle and the reverend kick some demon butt.

There's also aome exposition scenes with the demons this time. At this early though, we don't know what they are talking about, their mission, goals and why they are possessing helpless individuals. So yeah, we have to keep on reading.

I’ve been waiting for this since the beginning. The dramatic irony that we see with Kyle’s ability and him having no understanding of what is within him gives him some answers and leaves us with even more questions. Why do they NEED him?

If I were Kyle and the Reverend, I'd be suspicious of all the other people at the gas station. I don't like the way that they were staring at the two of them. It just gave me a really weird feeling that I don't like.

Okay, so "Sydney" knows that there's another demon or whatever, inside "Mildred" and that she wants to get rid of Kyle and the Reverend. I don't believe that "Sidney" "took care of them". If he had, there would be no way to continue the series.

Ugh. I didn't like the "kiss" between "Sidney" and "Mildred". I thought it was gross as hell, and even more so when she/it tried to take the other demon or whatever out of "Sidney".

The end of the conversation between "Sidney" and "Mildred" makes me wonder where they're from and what's wrong with the place they used to live. I mean it must have been bad if they've come to Earth or whatever.

I didn't care for the brief scene of Luke and his bed bunny. I found that that part wasn't important to the story and therefore didn't need to be added. Oh well, I hope it has use somewhere down the line later.

They guy in the homeless shelter was looking at Kyle and the Reverend all funny. And now a demon or whatever basically called out to Kyle by calling him by his 'Outcast' nickname. That's a way to get his attention.

So, if the demon or whatever still doesn't like the light, then I have a feeling that it can be exorcised from Sherry. It hasn't been inside of her long enough to fully take root or whatever, like the one inside Mildred.

I get where the Reverend's coming from, with wanting to help Sherry get the demon out of her, but I also get where Kyle's coming from by wanting to wait so that he can ask it some questions about what's going on.

So, I don't really get what happened. I know that what the demon said, made Kyle upset and he started to cry. Then when he cried, his tears got onto Sherry's body and it burned the demon.

But why did the demon leave Sherry's body? Also, Kyle's stupid. Telling the demon to come and get him is crazy as hell. He sounds sort of suicidal which is really bad and I hope he didn't mean it.

Aw man. So they were able to save Sherry and get the demon out of her, but I think she's dead. I think that maybe the demon had more of a hold on her than I previously thought.

I hope she's not really dead and just in a coma like state. It would still be horrible, but at least Sherry would still be alive. I can't wait to see what happens in the next issue, which I'm about to start.
