Having covered all of the regular business phases / stages (Starting, Scaling, Situations, Sailing, Sustaining) with the "Success in Business" series, I took inspiration from others. One person spoke of the abundant available business opportunities and the fact that Nigeria's best businesses are yet to be created. And, another person referenced an article lamenting the woes of a foreign retailer in Nigeria, using it as a cautionary tale for new businesses to setup with solid foundations and resilient structures that can take the heat.
I grasp the ground between these two positions, shake it, break it, and pull it in from both sides in an effort to make the twain meet. If you find chaos, then chaos is the only way to address it, if you are to have any hope of getting ahead.
This is Chaos Theory to the max - ✅ I address and involve the businesses, the regulators, fellow Nigerians; ☑️ I highlight and question audacity, sanity, impunity, and complacency; ✅ I challenge the very structure of many sacred cows in Nigeria including the Traditional Rulers, the administration of Nigeria, the politics of Nigeria, and indeed the makeup of Nigeria and Nigeria's own understanding and public description of itself.
⏩ Do we know who we really are? ▶️ Do we even know what we are capable of? ⏩ Are we ready to boldly call-out and tackle what holds us back?
There are answers, there is a way forward through this business-stifling chaos in which we now find ourselves, and it is akin to a controlled burn when fighting fire with fire. It is only chaos that can and will and must, set the stage for indigenous businesses in Nigeria and Africa to survive and thrive.
If you are a Nigerian, it will wake you up and shake you up and make you question life (after you question your husband or wife), with its hard truths and bone-marrow- deep analyses.
If you are not a Nigerian but still interested in Nigerian (or African) business or politics, or the lifestyles, cultures, and histories of Nigerians and Africans, do take a read.

The purple eBook (for all intents and purposes, a Volume VI), is specific to Africa, as the landscape first needs to be made more conducive, for indigenous Black African businesses of all types and shapes and sizes, to really thrive.
