Lesley Black was born in that well-known hot bed of sailing Welwyn Garden City but now her skipper and their two junior hands live in Northern Ireland. When her skipper decided to buy a boat she was initially apprehensive but after an uncertain start she now admits to an addiction to the sport of sailing. This book charts the ups and downs of being the being a lone female and general dogs-body on a boat.

Not something that I would normally have picked up but was given it as a surprise offering so felt it was only right that I gave it a go. Very funny in parts meaning that I enjoyed it much more than I expected.
