To be perfectly honest I did not read this book cover-to-cover but skimmed and scanned much of it. This books is good for those seeking a more clinical approach to addressing Celiac Sprue. It breaks down the many aspects into managable parts with methods for addressing.
It also contains recipes, menu planning suggestions and many additional resources.
I find this book the essential guide to learning about Celiac Disease. It is a great start for thos who are newly diagnose. Shelley Case does all the dirty work of outlining how to read ingredient lists and finding gluten-free companies. Buy the newest edition, it is updated frequently.
