Does perfect really exist? Can you have the perfect life, perfect love, a perfect husband? Can everything in your life be bright and sunny? That’s what Laney always wanted. Brad wasn’t perfect, but the love her daughters had for their father was. She may not have the perfect marriage, but it worked, or so she thought, until she finds out her husband had been banging a fellow teacher. Years later, with her heart healed, and lessons learned, Laney sees her then boyfriend ass up and face down between the legs of his neighbor. With too much alcohol, too much dancing and too much meddling from her best friend, Laney finds herself in Las Vegas, waking up in the bed of a beautiful stranger with a diamond on her finger and him calling her his wife. Before she can even comprehend what this new information means, she’s struck with tragedy, making her weekend Vegas trip short lived.
Nathan Whitmore, was the successful black sheep of the family. He was New York’s number one bachelor until he took a trip to Las Vegas where he met his match; the one woman who was able to steal his heart. Always taking what he wants, he takes Laney down the aisle, making her his wife.
Can Nathan be Laney’s perfect, even if she found him by accident? See how the story of Laney and Nathan unfolds in Accidentally Perfect
Torrie Robles was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She currently lives a short distance from her hometown of Clovis. She is married and has three children, two boys and one girl. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Writing has always been a passion of Torrie's. 2015 will mark the year she will become a self-published author. She writes contemporary romance and plans to branch out as her career takes off. She is currently working on several different manuscripts. She hopes to have them all finished and published over the next couple of years.
When she isn't working a full-time job, writing, raising her children, or just taking care of life Torrie's biggest hobby is getting lost in books. Her passion for reading and the authors she looks up to has allowed her to make her dreams come true. Her fellow authors have truly been her inspiration.
I don't know how I happened upon this juicy nugget but I am so glad I did! Laney hasn't had the best of luck with men. Getting married young because she was pregnant, she finds her husband cheating on her with a co worker which obviously led to a divorce. More recently she comes home early from work and finds her boyfriend face-first in the neighbors girly bits. She calls her best friend Stella and an impromptu trip to Vegas is born. While in Vegas, she meets Nathan who is there on business with his friend Troy. After a couple days of hanging out, and a wild night of drinking (totally out of character for this single mom of twins) they wake up married. Now, they both had felt a huge pull towards each other, and I've known people who married shortly after meeting, so I won't judge. Before they have a chance to digest what is happening, they are summoned back to their mutual hometown of NYC because of an emergency with her twins. What happens next is stuff that daytime soap operas are made of....ex husbands, crazy ex boyfriends, crazy ex flings, paparazzi, gossip rags, insane parents.....and in the midst of all of that, these two fell in love. This was a sweet love story with a couple who instead of caving to outside pressures, got even stronger. Nathan was sweet, alpha, protective, devoted and a dirty talker! Laney was such a good mom and she and Nathan made a great couple! No cheating, no ow/om drama, no love triangles just a great read! I would love a story about Stella and Troy or even Natalie and Brad. I would buy that book! imo this was a completely safe read
Before I start this review I hope this will not upset you. Every authors has it's good and bad. Hope that what I write will help you along some how. What I am saying is not mean to be cruel but to help you.
The basis of Accidentally perfect is a good idea. I love that that Laney was complicated, found Nathan, and got married. These are the things that made it a 2 star.
-Laney wakes up and is like omg I'm married. Her shock is believable at first but how easy it is for her to accept everything is not believable. I would have assumed there would be some fighting back.
-Nathan's story is believable and loved how it's a male climbing the 'ladder' within society. This made me smile because I LOVE role reversals. How instant their love is. Not so believable.
- Brad cheating on her. Michael (is the name right) cheating on her as well and showing up when Amanda and Addie got hurt.
-Brad being alright with Nathan throwing his weight around sometimes. The 'fight' between the two was like a pissing contest. Brad should have been a bit more of a man. Sometimes he seems bad ass other times very weak.
- Cheating is throw in your face, time and time again. Yes we get it. Brad cheated. Michael cheated. Everyone is a cheater and there is no good characters. Only Nathan.
- Amanda's lisp was believable for the most part. I enjoyed that being different.
- Hate that it made it seem like just because you are wealthy you get more privileges and can break hospital rules.
I say all this but could not finish it. I kept trying to get passed some of the things.

Nathan is a hot, rich, drop dead gorgeous man and married Laney after only knowing her one night. Laney after walking in on her boyfriend calls her best friend who talks her into going to Vegas for the weekend. After a night of drinking, dancing and a hot guy she wakes up with a ring on her finger and Nathan in bed next to her.
After getting this far you are probably thinking what about an annulment or they cant possibly make things work they don't even know each other. This is where I will tell you that you are so completely wrong. Accidentally Perfect is a book that will show you that acting on impulse may not always be the wrong choice. Both these characters come from money but sometimes having all the money in the world doesn't give you happiness. But to only will this book show you how love can be a beautiful thing from a rash decision it also has some very bitter and vengeful family members, as well as dealing with ex's.
this book will draw you in from the beginning and makes you want more because the book is just so real. These characters deal with situations that I know a few people could take lessons from.
I have read the first version of this story, and loved it then, but now it being twerked I loved it even more. I enjoyed how we got more in the prologue of how Nathan and Laney actually met, not just the why? Laney was in Vegas to begin with. We even got more in the epilogue as well, well done Torrie, a very enjoyable read.
If your looking for a low drama, hot sex, family, great friends, a beautiful love story with love at first sight (which I totally believe in, by the way), look no further this book is for you. We of course have a couple of villains in this story, and oh my goodness, Laney's mum was just awful, I can't tell you how many times, I wanted to jump in the book and smack her, I didn't really need to though, because Nathan had that handled. Thank you for an awesome read!!! Reviewed for HeadTripping Books by Carolyn.
Surprise!!! We're married!!! You know the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"? Not in this novel... getting hitched to THE most eligible bachelor sure isn't AT ALL what Laney imagined. A weekend getaway turnrd out into a FULL HOUSE... a mom, two dads, aunties twin daughters and grandparents sent from Hell! This romance between Nathan and Laney goes through so much drama...it's amazing if these twi will come out of it unscathed. Both having inherited mommy/daddy isues... of the WORST kind, struggle to make their shotgun marriage work. A story of finding Mr. Right... a heaven-sent-gift, but having to overcome serious parental obstacles. Will they make it work? A story with emotional triggers, humor & & tips on handling "annoying" people! 4 Shotgun Stars for "Accidentally Perfect".
3 stars. While I still enjoy the H I had to move from a 4 star to a 3. There was such a real lack of character development.
I was so surprised with out much I enjoyed this book.
Love at first sight Vegas wedding and then the fun begins. I loved the couple flowed. Never wavering or doubting and it was so sweet. The H was protective, possessive, sexy, and a yummy dirty talker. The h was sweet and loving and took no crap when it came time to take out the trash. And oh the drama in this book was entertaining instead of tedious. Anything that could happen did happen but it was great. I smiled through the whole book. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was at times it did seem to drag on. But I can't wait to read more from this author
Loved this! Wish this was my happily ever after. Oh to have a man like Nathan, that would be amazing. I love that this story not only focused around Nathan and Laney but it went so in depth with the other characters as well and their involvement in this book. Fingers crossed we can read about Troy and Stella and hopefully their ever after and maybe even Natalie and Brad... It might not happen but it would be amazing to read about ;)
I gave this book 5 stars, because, well I WROTE IT!! Those who I've talked to have said they love the book. They love the characters and the sexy scenes.
I enjoyed Accidentally Perfect for the simple fact that the leading lady was not a push over, in so many other love stories the ex shows up, spews her bs and the leading lady packs her bags and kids, and off she goes. Laney stood her ground and fought for her instant love, that for me was a major plus. The twins were adorable. All round a nice feel good instant love story.
Love accidental and surprise weddings. I found this book through a group on Facebook and I loves this one. Nathan is a great man/hubby/father and loved Laney too.
Accidentally Perfect is Complete Perfection!! When Laney rushes to her boyfriends house to begin here vacation early she gets the shock of her life…..find said boyfriend’s bum in the air and his face a little to close to another woman’s wares. Okay so extremely to close to the hussy’s hussy!
Laney, of course, calls her bestie Stella, who talks her into a weekend in Sin City. After a wild night in Sin City we get to meet Nathan. Who is Nathan?? Girl!!!! He is the amazingly hot, rich, drop dead in bed gorgeous man that Laney married the night before!!! I know what you’re thinking ….seriously??? Like that isn’t an annulment waiting to happen. WRONG!!! Accidently Perfect shows you why a rash decision can be so insanely perfect.
Follow Laney and Nathan as they prove time and time again that true love can hit in an instant, that money doesn’t necessarily mean happiness, and that love does conquer all. Fall in love with both characters as you watch them face exes, raising children (Laney has twins from her first marriage), vindictive family members, and the press (I did mention Nathan is like extremely rich right??)
I think one of the parts that truly touched me was the parenting skills of Brad (Laney’s ex) and Laney. Yes people I know it is just a book but many divorced parents could learn a few things from these characters. I love that Torrie shows that co-parenting can be done in a classy and loving way.
Torrie has created an great read with realistic characters that truly draw you in and make you invest in them. I was said to see the book come to an end but excited that when I talked to Torrie she told me she had ideas for a few of the other characters that I grew to love. Now that’s telling! When an author can make you care for a side character you know you have gold! So pick up Accidentally Perfect and get lost in its Perfections for a couple hours.
I was honored to receive this story to read in exchange for an honest review. I jumped at the chance to read it not only because it sounded like an interesting read and one that I would enjoy, but also because it's a new authors debut novel. I was happy and excited to be able to read her first book and to help out in any way I could to head her onto her path of fulfilling her dreams. Right from the start I was sucked into the story. The story line is a very strong and well told, believable story. The characters are very easy to relate to and I could see this whole scenario as if it was something that could actually happen in my life to someone in my own family. There was an great mix of drama, heartache, incredible sex, humor, craziness and suspense throughout the book to keep you guessing what was going to happen next. In my opinion, a really good book is one that makes you think, makes you hope and wish, makes you laugh out loud but still also has the ability to make you cry, all the way through, from cover to cover. And for me, Accidentally Perfect did that. This is a story about how an amazing, strong woman finally gets the man and the life she deserves and in accomplishing that she shows a man that has been down a rough road that the love of a good, strong, loving and honest woman can change a hardened man and together they can fulfill their dreams. There were some minor things throughout the story that needed tweaking but the overall story line and flow of this book was spot on and an amazing debut novel for Ms. Robles. Congratulations and I am looking forward to reading your next book!

Laney thought she had the perfect life. A perfect husband and two perfect daughters. Until the day she finds out her husband slept with his co-worker. Now she's a single mom who has lost her belief that there is a "perfect" guy out there. Due to her lack of social life, her best friend drags her to Vegas for a weekend of fun, dancing and drinking. Then everything changes when Laney wakes up to find herself in bed with a guy she is now married to. She remembers very little of the evening before, but he convinces her to give them a trial period because he thinks he's found "the one". There are a few bumps in the road, like when he finds out he is a step-father after the wedding. However Nathan proves again and again that while he may not be perfect, he might just be perfect for Laney. Despite the obvious fiction aspects to this story, this was a fun and delightful book to read. The only negative for me was the mom's character. She was a class a witch, but she was given way too much power over the characters and I couldn't understand why they didn't just ban her from their life, rather than allow her to continue to be a part of their lives in a co-dependent way.
I don't like giving bad reviews. I know the author worked hard on this book and should be proud but I hope she takes my criticism to heart. There were SO many grammar and spelling mistakes! They were just glaring at me on every page. And I couldn't find any flow to the characters conversing because I felt like I was reading a textbook. There's no abbreviation and it makes everything sound so technical since people don't talk that way in real life. I'm not sure if this is the authors first book but that where I see this problem allot. As a reader I want characters to sound real. Not fake. And the story itself had potential but it was just too predictable. There were plot holes and unanswered questions I was stuck with as well. I'm the type of person who sees a book to the end even if I'd rather quit because I'm not enjoying it. I was ready to give up after chapter 3 though.
Laney and Nathan meet in Vegas, get married, and tragedy struck that sent them back home to NY. Laney was married and has twin girls who were involved in a car accident. Now I loved this book. Nathan is an alpha man but I wanted to slap him because sometimes he would speak and not think about how the other person will feel.
Laney comes from money, just like Nathan but they never flaunt their name around. Nathan's father and Laney's mother are so much alike. They like what their last name brings to them and thinks that their children should be just like them.
Their love came quickly and was so strong. This book has it all, love, hot sex, fear, worry, and drama. You never really know what is going to happen. I am looking forward to more of this group of friends/family.
Laney is cautious after a failed marriage and a cheating boyfriend plus she has kids to protect. Nathan is tired of the playboy life and is looking for more.
I liked both Laney and Nathan, and I really liked the way the author gave them things in common from a similar determination to do things their way to a toxic parent. I enjoyed the secondary characters in this as well. While I didn't find the plot particularly surprising, I thought the author did a nice job with Laney and Nathan's developing relationship, and some of the issues that come up with kids and co-parenting. 3.5 to 4 stars
I was skeptical of reading this book after some of the reviews but I'm really glad I did I love the story I love how it turned a quickie Vegas marriage into a happily ever after story I love the affection shown by Nathan to the twins and their mother and how all the parents came together for the kids the ending was great and I can't wait to read more from this author.
5 stars. I absolutely loved reading Nathan and Laney's story, it was beautiful, romantic and refreshing. I'm so glad I bought Accidentally Perfect, this is a must have buy it you won't be disappointed
This would have been a great book if Vivian would have been put in her place. (Out of the picture would be the best place.) I would never allow someone like that around my children, no parent that wants to protect their child would! Therefore, a normally 5 star book just got a 4 star from me.
This was too perfect too fast. I liked the idea, especially with both of them having similar backgrounds and status. With all of the dialogue, it felt like a script instead of a book. I hope the author grows from this first book.
Do you believe in love at first sight? Well that is what happened to Laney and Nate. One wild night in Vegas and they woke up married! I really liked the book and would so recommend.
Super cute story! Lots of sweet love and it was just what I needed! I'm a sucker for a "married at first sight" book and this one did not disappoint!!!
I really liked the story, but bad writing. I was surprised to find that an independent company edited this book. There were words missing, Grammer mistakes too many to mention and miss spelled words. Having to dispher what the writer may have intended took away from being able to enjoy the story!
