The first chapter of the book was dull. I didn't really mind Yabut's humble history because it was essential to get to know him in order to understand how he's a significant icon. I really do watch the Apprentice Asia before I read this book just for me to know what he's talking about. The series was really entertaining and nerve-wracking and the book is also great. I love the way how he lives his life. I love all his tips and discussions when it comes to career, trips, book reco, movie reco, and of course "grit". I've known about this book but not until I was sent a complimentary copy that I finally got to read it. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. So much so that I finished it in one sitting! His writing is so RAW and GOOD that reading about how he won in The Apprentice Asia made me tear up. I also like that he has a lot of useful hacks for traveling, for being a corporate warrior, and for just loving your job. Good read! Really!

Jonathan writes like he is a friend you have known all these years. Right use of words, great enthusiasm in tone and smooth flow of thoughts made reading this a very easy read.
