He is a cop who happens to be gay. Lando becomes his physical therapist so I really think that Dom will get the story with Lando. It seemed to vaguely elude to that at the end of Asa. I love Dom!!! :)</spoiler> I think there are supposed to be at least 3 books and a novella in the spin off. Zeb/Sayer are getting a book. Poppy (Salem's sister) is supposed to get a story. SQUEEEEE!! Sweet, swoony, sexy, and downright addictive, this book kept my heart racing from start to finish. I read it in one sitting and absolutely loved the story! There’s just something about an Alpha hero who is willing to go to the ends of the earth to protect his family and to fight for the woman he loves that makes my heart race! I highly recommend BUILT for all fans of romance!

Also, I’m excited to say that this is my first Top Favorite of 2016!! YAY!

The first Crownover book in her new Saints of Denver series was a real hit for me. Ever since I saw the chemistry between Rowdy’s sister, Sayer, and his friend, Zeb, I knew I needed this book! And Zeb didn’t disappoint- he’s a completely lovable guy. In fact, I think Zeb Fuller is now one of my favorite leading men of hers.

Zeb Fuller renovates homes for a living. He’s successful at what he does and he enjoys it. He also lets his clients know upfront that he has a past. He feels it

Audiobook Review. Zeb is a flawed man. He's made some serious mistakes but he's honest about who he is. He likes to build and restore homes and knows that there is more to something, or someone, than what one can see in the surface. Sayer is Rowdy's uptight attorney sister who is learning to accept that not everything has to be perfect. That she can feel, laugh, and enjoy life. She fights the attraction that Zeb ignites with all she's got until they finally come together. When they do? It's hot ...more

Few months ago, when I reached the end of the final novel in Marked Men Series I was very sad to say goodbye to all of the characters. They stole a piece of my soul and I literally could feel my heart breaking at the thought of letting them go.

Fortunately for me, Jay Crownover decided to rescue my poor little heart and write a spi

We caught a glimpse of Zeb and Sayer in the Marked Men series, and now we have their full story in a new series! Zeb Fuller has made some mistakes in his life, leading to him doing a turn in jail. Zeb has reformed himself, building up a successful construction business, but it’s hard for people to look past his rough, tattooed exterior.

Built is the first story in the Saints of Denver Series. If you were a fan of the Marked Men Series you met Sayer, she is Rowdy’s sister and a family lawyer. Zeb is a friend of the guys and works restoring houses.

Zeb isn’t the type of guy Sayer would normally be into, he has been prison, has tattoos and is used to manual labor. Sayer is prim and proper and comes from a wealthy family. Zeb completely expects Sayer to judge him and look down on him, so when she doesn’t he is completely taken back

Such an enjoyable story!I loved reading it and especially I'm so glad about Zeb!Because he is the reason I loved this book! This guy...*sigh* he was everything!I have read only two books from this author and like the previous book the male character is the reason I loved the story!I had the opportunity to read it and in the same time to listen it and this make me feel more connected!

As I mentioned before reading this new series of Jay Crownover, I truly enjoyed all of the Marked Men....and it was in past books, we met Zeb and Sayer. Each were introduced separately with different story-lines, assisting the main character through their journey.
Zeb's background of being an ex-con and moving forward... being the man he was supposed to be, intrigued readers... we felt there was some meat on his bones... a story to tell.

Happy Book Birthday

Wildly addictive, touching and heartfelt, super sexy and downright swoony. I love it when a book makes me feel like I'm drowning in so much love, warm and fuzzy feelings that I can't take deep enough breaths to fill my lungs.

Growing up Sayer was forced to build an icy fortress around herself with reinforced steel bands around her heart. Her disapproving and uncaring father would have crushed her otherwise. Even after his death he still darkens her life. But she’s taken a few s
It's probably me, not you.

Gah, I didn't like this book. I know everyone adored it and all, but I just couldn't connect to it.

I didn't like the characters and I didn't feel any chemistry. The plot was cliche and the only reason I managed to "finish" it is because I skimmed a lot. And soo so many useless descriptions! Even more, there were a few times when I felt that the characters were idiots. And it should have had at least 50 pages less.

Still, the writing was pretty good and I understand why
I have to be honest in saying that this storyline has been more than a little overdone and by now it's just cliche. But with that being said, Jay Crownover just proved herself to be an amazing author, because only someone as kick ass as her can turn an overdone storyline into something as amazing as Built and make it so original with the small details.

Zeb Fuller is used to people judging him based on his size and tattoo's, and it doesn't help that he did time in prison. He never expected a lady

Built was one of my most anticipated books of 2016. A new series, from an author I love... GAH! There's nothing more exciting than that for a book junkie. I knew I NEEDED to read it and I was thrilled to get a copy. Everything—from the blurb, to the cover—enticed me. And when I cracked Zeb and Sayer's story open, I was so elated, I could hardly sit still. My expectations were huge. Built is a standalone and is part of the Saints and Denver series, it’s also a spin-off from the Marked Men series. I’ve only read one other book by Jay Crownover, I know CRAZY. I know she writes complicated males that are addictive to read. I did the audio version of this. I have to say, the audio is the way to go, since it’s written in dual POV, you get both, male and female narrations. It just makes the book easier to listen to.

DNF @ 36%. There was way too much inner dialogue, and not enough going on. The h got on my nerves. I have read a lot of books that the h has come from unfortunate upbringing, but the h just focuses on what her Dad would say and think WAY too much! Other than him wanting her to be "perfect" I am still not sure what the abuse was (even though there have been MULTIPLE long paragraphs about it all). It's even been repetitive at times to where I started skimming some of it. I liked the H, but I don't ...more

This book is the first one in a new series by this author but while reading it I realised it is better to read the Marked men series by this author before you read this one, because the characters are connected and perhaps this fault may be the reason why I couldn't connect with the characters trough this book.

4 Bearded Hero Stars!!

The minute Zeb and Sayer were introduced their attraction was obvious and you got the feeling that their connection will be amazing.

Zeb is larger than life, interesting, and very passionate (and man-oh-man, he’s a master at dirty talk!). Zeb just oozes confidence, he runs his own construction company, he knows who he is, what he wants and is very comfortable in his tattooed skin. And despite his beard, numerous tat’s and ex-con status, he has a HUGE heart of gold.

A new series by Jay Crownover? Yes please!

What a perfect combination of opposites. The straight-laced lawyer, sister of Rowdy, Sayer Cole, is new in town and making her mark on Zeb Fuller. He’s a hard working guy and she just hired him to rebuild and renovate her newly purchased old home.

A few exchanged glances and some mild conversation is all that goes on during the time when work is being done. It’s after the job is finished that Sayer has trouble sleeping and Zeb seems out of sorts. Maybe t

This is a classic case of don't judge a book by it's cover OR the first 50% of the book. The first half was SLOW. It was a challenge to keep going.

The last half was a lot better. The relationship finally started to gel and I actually saw the growth I needed. The sex was pretty hot.

First half: 2 stars
Last half: 4 stars

I'll stick to 4 stars overall.

I loved this book! It sucked me in from the get-go and I didn’t want to put it down until I was finished! I also have to say that this book was so unexpected! When I initially picked it up I thought it was going to be about a hard-ass ex con with no morals and a “don’t give a f*ck attitude”. However, I was seriously mistaken and PLEASANTLY surprised! This book is really all about second chances and giving into your heart and being there for those you love even if the

I think it’s safe to say my tastes in certain genres has changed. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, but it kind of frustrates me, because I really wanted to love this book after seeing so many people raving about it on Goodreads. I have read several books by this author (granted, that was a few years ago), and loved them. They ended up on my favorite books list. I was in the mood for romance with some erotica, so I decided to try this one. Although the story line itself was really good, it was ...more

Ok now we meet Sayer and Zeb in Rowdy. And I really like both in that book.
