#2012 Gift A girl takes care of a fir tree, and as animals move in she makes them promise to leave by Christmas Eve, when they will move her tree inside the house. The day arrives and all the animals have left, she then realizes how quiet and lonely it is without the animals… what will she do?

I like this book. It has an element of 'be careful what you wish for'. I like the illustrations quite a bit, too.
